Trinity Seven and Charlotte are shows about children with special powers. Both anime have a similar setting and the cast of characters have a lot in common (just think about the Sherlock sisters from Trinity and Yusa and Misa from Charlotte).

Bakemonogatari and Mushishi have quite a few similarities. First of all the Main Characters Araragi and Ginko have a lot in common. They are trying to help other people with their problems and oddities. The show is not about the Main Characters themselves, as you do not learn a lot about their own past and story, but more about the people around them. Both shows have a mystery/supernatural side. The biggest difference between the shows is how they are presented. Mushishi is really serious and give you an experience that not a lot of shows will give you. Bakamonogatari has a fun side and it has a completely different artstyle.

Both anime are about creatures that affects the people. Mushishi is a more serious show with a dark tone, Noragami has more action, more humor and has vivid colors. Death also plays a role in both Noragami and Mushishi.

Death Parade

Mushishi and Death Parade, these shows are psychological masterpieces. Both shows have an episodic style with a larger story. (In Death Parade their is also a game playing aspect, but that is not what the show is about). Both shows start off slow, but after a while they get really interesting. (especially Death Parade). Mushishi has multiple seasons as well so if you like it you have about 45-50 episodes to watch. Death Parade is only a short anime with only 12 episodes (atm), but for a 12 episode show, the story is well-brought and it's just amazing. These shows give you a special kind of vibe that you can't stop watching. Death Parade is one of my favorite shows and Mushishi is a very good show as well.

Ushio to Tora (TV)

Garo and Ushio to Tora are all about demons. Both have an unique artstyle and have quite an interesting story. Garo is about Makai Knights, who fight against demons and Ushio to Tora is about Ushio who uses the Beast Spear to fight demons. Leon and Ushio are both searching for the mother and are living with their dads. Garo started off slow but after a while the show improves. The character development is really good, but chances are that you won't like Garo in the beginning. Ushio to Tora is a show that is currently airing and will have 26 episodes in total (now has 13 already released). Garo has 24 episodes. In the Fall 2015 season, another Garo anime will air, name: Garo: Guren no Tsuki (not a sequel, anime has the same concept but with different characters).

Death Parade and Death Note are two amazing shows both made by Madhouse. It's all about judgement and they are psychological masterpieces. In Death Note MC has a "Death Note" which he uses to determine who is a good person and who is bad (trying not to spoil too much). In Death Parade, every time two persons meet each other in a bar, with a referee. And the referee needs to determine by the use of games who is a good person and who is bad (still trying not to spoil). Both shows give you a certain vibe and I really enjoyed both shows. Most people probably have already seen Death Note but Death Parade is a hidden gem that you should have seen, it's an awesome show.

Mirai Nikki (TV)

The shows are very similar because both shows are action, mystery shows. The MC receives a "special" cellphone that he needs to use to change the world. In Higashi no Eden the MC gets 10 billion yen, which he need to use to change Japan. In Mirai Nikki he has a cellphone that he can use to see the future that he needs to use to survive. Mirai Nikki goes more to the horror and gore side and Higashi no Eden is a show with more humor.

Both anime involve genius gamers, spending day after day playing games. In Btooom the protagonist is brought to an island with others and their are equipped with weapons. In No Game no Life, the protagonist are transported in to the game world and they need to prove themselves that they are the best. This sounds very similar to SAO, Log Horizon, Overlord and more, but I think Btooom and No Game No Life are the most original and also the best shows in the genre.

Psycho-Pass

Rainbow is a psychological action show with a great animation and story. The show is not mainly focused on action. It also about friendship, courage, pride and about their fight against society. Psycho Pass is also a great show with a very good animation. The shows are similar because of the influence of the government. The difference is that in Rainbow it's about the seven boys and their battle against the system. In Psycho Pass, the MC's are part of the system themselves. The shows may look very different at first, but after watching them I felt they had a lot in common.

Both are survival anime and they're trying to kill other players. If you like the survival part of fate/zero you should watch Btooom. Btooom does not have the supernatural part but it has a great story too.
