Yuru Camp and Non Non Biyori have an incredibly mellow slice of life tone throughout each episode. Whereas Yuru Camp has the camping element involved to bring out the peaceful environments, Non Non Biyori has the rural life element that highlights a peaceful lifestyle as the girls do everyday things that might be small, but have a big impact on the watcher. Yuru Camp also emphasizes the little, seemingly meaningless, actions that bring enjoyment to the camping girls by comparison. Both anime have great characters and plenty of lighthearted comedy to make you want more.

In all honesty, both male protagonists for these anime are dense to the situations going on and dumb at other times. What I liked about Girlfriend, Girlfriend, however, is that the male protagonist is actually funny and is impossibly likable despite his faults. Both anime have harems and honestly the girls in Girlfriend, Girlfriend have better chemistry with one another than Rent-A-Girlfriend's, though Rent-A-Girlfriend is not bad, just how Girlfriend, Girlfriend is not a bad anime if you don't attempt to take it too seriously. Really, just casually enjoy the anime.

K-On!

Lucky Star's comedy is rather different than K-On!'s in the sense that Lucky Star has its comedy be the focus of how the plot progresses each episode whereas K-On! emphasizes the slice of life aspect of the Light Music Club's activities and the comedy comes naturally off of the club's circumstances. Yet, I recommend K-On! because it's just as funny and light-hearted as Lucky Star is and contains a fun group of girls that go about their daily lives. Both anime appealed to a true slice of life atmosphere and are long enough to keep you entertained.

Tonikawa shares a similar desire to build up a couple's affinity between one another rather than go too much into the weeds of establishing a relationship between the two main characters. Both couples have their shares of happy moments and those that strain a relationship, though arguably Tonikawa has more light-hearted moments than Tsuki ga Kirei. Tonikawa in general has more security in the couple's love for one another, which allows for Tonikawa to explore more into the boundaries of how to express love in different and entertaining ways. Both are enjoyable watches nonetheless.
