This anime was a solid 7\10 at the beginning but its quality dropped DRASTICALLY at the later episodes. During its run this anime dropped from "Fun story about witty girl" to "Romance oriented slice of life with very questionable ideas".
I have "mixed feelings" because I would recommend this to someone who enjoys lighthearted romance in a pseudo-European setting. If you're not such a person—do not waste your time.

This is unironically the best thing that happened to "Terminator" franchise since "Terminator 2".
You don't have to watch ANY of the movies to understand this anime though, it is self explanatory and this is awesome. Magnificent soundtrack, great character development, solid plot. Some plot twists are predictable but it is not necessarily a bad thing: sometimes it just means that a title has its internal logic which is always great. Titular Terminator is very menacing, dangerous machine that can kill any character any given minute and this reminds me of Terminator 1 which was almost a horror movie. A couple years ago, before first season of this show came out, I was 100% sure that nothing could top Hyouka as a psychological school anime. I was wrong.
Tomozaki-kun is an instant classic. It is very clever, it is subtle but powerful. There are no meaningless lines. There are no soulless characters. By the current school anime standarts, this should be considered a masterpiece. I am really disappointed. Mushoku Tensei I was a solid anime which could be even considered a Tier A isekai (which is a stretch but still). Season II is a disaster and the main reason for this is that it gets gradually worse with every episode. First few episodes made me speechless, they were truly masterpieces. I started watching this anime because a lot of people were comparing it with Mashiro no Oto and mostly users said that this one is better.
But guess what? They were wrong. Mashiro no Oto is way better. Kono Oto Tomare is... fine, I guess. Kono Oto Tomare is an anime about musical club but it is not anime about music. You know, sport anime series are usually terrible. Not because they are terrible as stories but because they don't actually show sport. "2.43" from last season was a pleasant exception but usually spokon is a story of a teenager where sport is just a background.
I am a football fan and an anime fan. And, believe me on that, there were 0 good football spokons. Giant Killing was closest to what can be called "good" it was an overall average TV series. Log Horizon was and still is by far the best isekai anime up to date (april 2021). When first aired, it chenged the game and convinced me that there are intelligent isekai and not all of them are poorly developed clones.
Overpowered abilities? Heroes with simple goal who push forward no matter what? Thanks, we don't this here. Finally, a decent anime about volleyball!
I dropped Haikyu!! after first season because it started to fell a lot like Kuroko (which means not a spolon but a fantasy shonen) and I had high hioes for 2.43 And it didn`t upset me! There are many details about tactics, mechanics and sport overall. this series is about volleyball, not about cheap teenage drama, and that`s why it`s good. First season was a good surprise. I expected yet another garbage isekai but it was fun, interesting and kinda deep in storytelling.
Second season is a complete disaster. Sloppy storytelling, unnecessary filler scenes, almost non-existent plot. If it was a 24-episode anime it would be totally fine but it`s not. As a 12-episode anime this season is the worst isekai of this anime season. The only good part of it is a Myulan arc.
