Unfortunately this movie was a little off for me. the bulk of it was funny and enjoyable, but the fight was basically identical to the Sendo one and the opponent is a bit mono dimensional.
The fight is really frustrating and i almost quit the movie at that stage. Ippo seems to have forgotten everything he has ever learned and has a hard time with the opponent. its a difficult watch and leaves you feeling unsatisfied with Ippos performance.

However the rest of the movie was really enjoyable and really funny at times. I think this is why the score is so high.

Id recommend watching this if ... you love the series and need your Fighting Spirit fix, and you have seen everything else. but there is nothing here that progresses the story and the fight is just frustrating.
the opponent pretty much deserves to win, but is happy in the end not to.

I think this movie is pretty skippable.

I managed to survive over 100 episodes of this steaming pile of poo!
every episode i was hoping beyond hope that it would improve. i said to myself "this is the episode where it turns around and becomes great like the manga is supposed to be".
eventually i started just watching the canon episodes. Unfortunately the canon episodes are once every 30 episodes or so, and were lackluster at best.

There is no saving this show. 100% one of the worst animes i have ever seen!
There is very little comedy, all the action is the same, the characters are boring, the enemies are mono dimensional, the ... stories boring, the music is forgettable. There is no resemblance at all to Naruto!

They should do the world a favour and reboot it, following the manga.

Im not going to give you a huge comprehensive review, as i prefer them short and sweet.

This is pretty much your typical harem, with much of the same character types seen before.
Where this anime differs from the norm is the cool main character, and story.
Ordinarily a harem anime starts with the wimpy school boy loser who somehow gets lucky and gets powers or something, then a troop of girls follow.
In Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san the main character starts off as a powerful cool guy who wins the hearts of the girls one by one.
I really enjoyed the story and battles within the anime, and it could ... have been great if not for one thing, fan Service.
Normally i like a little fan service, i mean who doesn't like the occasional oppai?
But this show takes it too far basically getting the characters nude or topless in every scene! i never would have thought i would get bored of boobs!

If there was a little less fan service and more story/ battles then it would get a top rating. In the entire series he battles probably 3-4 times, (and they dont last long) which isn't really enough.

The art is good, the music is great, voice actors great, and there is a good few laugh out loud moments. 7/10 for me, but should be an 8-9 with more action and story.

i really enjoyed reading this manga, and it left a hole when i had finished.
the main characters are easy to like, especially Mizuke who gets more developed as the story progresses.
there were some good comedy moments, where i laughed out loud and some feel good moments.
In reality this is an ecchi comedy romance, with quite a few lewd scenes. Although there wasnt so many lewd scenes that it becomes unreadable in public.
The depictions of Mizuke in outfits etc are really nice, and even make me like her character more.

My only real criticism of this manga would be the quick ending. It took over 100 chapters ... to flesh out the story, but it was ended very quickly. I was left wondering what would happen to their future, and there was no ending for most of the other characters. They showed a term into the future, which wasnt really enough. Also what happened when Mizuke's dad found out about the relationship? there were no reactions from classmates about the couples relationship.
just a few untied strings at the end.

But apart from that, a solid read well worth it.
