There is a good reason why this anime got so popular since its been first officialy streamed.
I believe never before there has been a story that introduces and develops so many well-writen complex delteragonists on a so forward way, that can still focus on the protagonist and on his way to victory. Not to say the multiple twists it takes almost every single episode.
A story being told this way kind of resembles some works like Naruto or One Piece, just a lot shorter and with a more clear narrative objective.
I believe it is easy to enjoy this characters and their interactions, not only because they ... feel real most of the time, but also because each of them has their own capability and specialty.

The stories they investigate are always well structured and are developed at a good pace, setting the anime apart from others in the investigative genre.
The main characters, at least in this first season, didn't get much depth, so it's kind of complicated to comment on their design, but it's easy to say that they are all at least interesting.
It's cool to comment that the series is a spin-off of the television series Kamen Rider, which is a Japanese media classic.
I really liked the style of animation they delivered, as it was well done and synthesized the overall content of the anime very well.
