You know what, I was really surprised when I read the reviews of the hate this anime adaption receives.

This is the second time I have seen people complain about animes with similar characters.

I wish people would put aside similar animes and just watch a show for what it is. It may have similarities with other titles, but it should just be enjoyed in it's own right.

The art style was good as well as the fluidity of the combat scenes.

It was funny & ott with some hilarious scenes. The fact they put Ponta in sealed the deal. It was a good fantasy ... isekai.

Episode 1 however wasn't for me , due to inappropriate sexual references to rape.

It's a shame we've been left with more questions than answers, as there seems to be little hope for a season 2.
I want to see Arc break the curse!

After reading the Manga I’ve been dying for this release for some time.

To some, Horimiya may seem like your atypical high school romance - but it is not.
This is a series based around two people who are very different from who they initially seem and the lengths they go to protect their identities by sharing each other’s secret with each other .

In the last six months the anime world has been full of huge shounen releases which move at a fast pace and are full of action. Sometimes watching something that warms the heart & brings a smile is very welcomed and ... Horimiya has so far not disappointed.

The series opening is my only gripe with the use of weird CG type animation, which does not continue through the actual anime itself- but to be honest I am not one for CG in anime anyway as it looks out of place to me.

After reading the manga, I can say, the scriptwriters really have tried to include as much content as possible and I haven’t felt disheartened or disappointed with the release .

Highlight so far is Hori’s Baka meltdown and when Miyamura jumps over the fence ( he’s actually pretty cool , watch and your see why)

This is a well written , Highschool ,slice of life ,comedy romance that you just want to succeed.

Cannot wait for the next episode !

Plunderer - such an underestimated anime.

I’m up to date with this anime watching every week and it’s been a journey I can say!

I believe this anime shows good premise. An intriguing story line- comedy , adventure a little titillation and relatable human emotions.


I won’t go into the normal review about what’s happened or ruin the view factor for those watching it - but the story is completely different to any other anime I have watched .
Ive never seen an anime based on a ballot system which defines your life total .

I’ve been on tenterhooks when episodes have left me asking questions ... about certain events and character interactions. As this episode finished I was satisfied finally have answers to questions that have bugged me for weeks and yes I could have wikis but what would that do??!

I think people should be more fair on this anime and give it a fair chance . It’s got great art and storyline and deserves a look .

I personally cannot see all the hate for this anime.
It is much better than some other Vampire animes out there ( Diabolik lovers) for example.

The character development has been very enjoyable and the story is gripping. From what i have seen of Vampire animes, this is one of the bloodiest so far and shows the divide between Vampires and Humans. It also shows the interpersonal relationships some have with humans.

I can see however how some might regard this as similar to twilight, but I over looked that and watched it for what it was. It was great to watch a vampire ... anime without constant comedy or over fantasizing. It was good to watch a vampire anime set in the present day with modern struggles.

If you want to watch a more realistic ( if that is a term ) vampire anime a with blood, story and romance element this is for you.
If you want over fantasised vampire anime without any story go look elsewhere. Honestly this anime for what it is, isn't bad although the theme song could be better.

p.s its a tear jearking ending.

erm- How can this anime receive such high scores?
Ouran host club... and i heard there will be a second season? will it be as bad or can it redeem itself?

art style was outdated and poor, The storyline was mediocre at best with the ending being far too short and it was a run of the mill harem anime with no depth or growth. It was very cliche and easy to see what was going to happen to certain characters before the episodes or scenes started. The characters had their own personalities and styles but again it was all very run of the mill ... character design.

Yes i found some of the character interactions funny, but personally that is all this anime had to offer.

The art style is unique to many anime i watch -
The need to put "scene" ect on it for me every scene change made it very hard to follow the subtitles. Personally, the story was very confusing and had no real depth to what could have been a very good anime. It was far too short and had no concept by the end how the main character ended up in the situation he did. Hanekawa could have had a much deeper back story and the introduction on screen of her 'parents' would have made it easier to ... understand her struggles. Every episode didn't really lean on the last or continue to the next. For me it seemed like each episode could have been its own.

The Vampire in the story which i think could have either been strengthened or even disregarded as it didn't really make much sense in the beginning why she was even there with her need to be silent pretty much throughout the story until the end and the guardian of the vampire though knowledgeable showed no strength in his character or abilities at all- he becomes injured but doesn't show any scenes of how .

Its not as a bad as some anime i have watched, but the worst for a while.
