This series is a revenge porn, but you might be surprised if I told you it is not the most gruesome thing that I had seen in manga. There is another series Maou no Hajimekata, which has more twisted MC using everyone to satisfy his own cravings and impose his will on individuals and society. However, where the healer outperforms most stuff is in variety of gruesomeness in ways how the MC is treated in previous timeline and what kind of things he does as he is exacting his revenge. It keeps things interesting in what would be otherwise story reminiscent of the shield hero
...
(Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari) or any other generic RPG-like fantasy series with harem. Except the harem isn’t just a decoration. Something refreshing after reading dozens of typical fantasy harem series.
The healer has pretty broken power, but it is not a healing power per say. Calling it healing is more like red herring. It’s ability akin to time-matter manipulation, which is probably the only inoffensive thing in the series. It’s this very ability that he amplifies using philosopher’s stone to revert the time. For larger part the bad things, which happened to the MC are caused by his hero ability to increase maximum level limit if a condition is met. The condition is you inject yourself with his seed. The word used in original does include various meanings, which lead to healer hero being sexually assaulted by both women and men. Except canon hero, he just likes to fuck with MC… literally. Yes, that is the thing. The original heroes’ party does have a lot of, what is commonly called nowadays, representation, but with sadistic twist. Pretty much one can see the pattern of sadism presented in characters, which hurt the MC and others.
Even with MC’s broken power, because it isn’t fully developed or rather, he didn’t level his abilities enough, the series does manage to keep tension, because his enemies are still quite powerful. While his primary motivation is revenge, he is still by circumstances pushed to play role of hero. He is also very sympathetic to others, who suffer.
Visuals are pretty fitting to the story. Art is not the best, but it is good. When it comes to explicitness the anime sits in-between uncensored and censored version of the anime adaptation. It’s pretty explicit in violence a sexuality.
For some reason this series, which is obviously targeted for more mature audience.
I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone sensitive to explicit content. Few things in the story are really disturbing. On the other hand, if you are looking for those things, because you are bored with cookie cutter harem series with celibate MC, I would recommend it.

Well first of I was a little skeptical about this and the first few episodes I was starting to give up on the anime but if you grin the first few episodes the anime actually is very much enjoyable the story at first was a bit dragging on my opinion. The main has a very interesting background lots of mysteries about his past, the anime it self is funny and the more episodes you go through the anime is beginning to go even more interesting, the animation is very good and the soundtracks as well and the story line is super interesting and exciting cant
...
wait to see this anime full potential when people become to realize how good this anime actually is, the anime is like mixing One Piece, Fairy Tail and Black Clover. I very much enjoy this anime and highly recommended it to anybody else!

Mirai Nikki has a great survival game premise. The main characters try to kill the other players or avoid being killed by using their diaries to see into the future. Fortunately this idea never strays off course and we are left with a fun beginning to end watch. As the game nears the end, we bite into a few treats that were only hinted at before. The bloody road along with the sometimes irritating romance, concluded with a most satisfactory ending that made the journey all worth it. From my understanding, the anime followed the manga pretty well, but in
...
the end, they left out a few pages that would of been nice to see. Maybe these few pages would of been confusing but once read, they really make the ending that much sweeter.
Great animation. The characters and everything in the Nikki world were detailed and brought to life. The fights were slick and easy to follow. Nothing looked half-assed. The fights were bloody and boy was there blood. The one thing that bothered me about the fights though was when someone got seriously injured and blood was pouring out of the wound, the wound itself was censored. So, in some cases during this R rated anime, censorship was used. In reality, I can certainly see why censorship was used, being a shounen and all, but it's one of those points I have to include. With all the blood and killing shown, censoring something like a knife in the gut seems preposterous. It was not always, just a few times throughout.
I'll let the opening and endings alone. They fit the bill but not everyone liked the heaviness of them. As for the music in between, not much can be said other than it also fit the moments. When love was in the air, you better believe love music was in the air. A serious fight brought on serious fighting music. In no way was the music lacking.
Ah yes, the characters. Much can be said about the characters. I'll start by saying Yukki made the beginning of the anime hell. The angst was almost unbearable. For like 17 episodes, he refused to grow a pair. Yuno on the other hand, made the beginning worthwhile with her obsessive psychotic love for Yuki. Nothing can stop her from protecting Yukki. All the while nothing can stop Yukki from crying as Yuno fights for him. Alas, don't be put off, the ending is well worth it. Watching Yukki develop may be a hair pulling experience, but he matures into the guy we wished for in episode one. Being a survival game, we not only have our main guys, but the anime takes a step back sometimes to explore the other players realities. This step is a breathe of fresh air from the angst and love that dwells in each episode.
Overall I can't stress enough that this anime should be given a chance. At least till like episode 17. Even before that though it's a great watch. The premise alone makes the wait for developments interesting. The fighting and epic background music both succeed in setting the right mood and right pace. The gore adds to that but usually when there's gore, there's Yukki crying somewhere; where there's Yukki, there's Yuno. Like I said, persevere, it's character development. The other players are all pretty great characters and though Yukki and Yuno can be hard to watch sometimes, when the plots a movin', everything becomes exciting. So give it a chance, maybe you'll see that it was actually a pretty great anime.

And here we go. The universe has a beginning.
Steins;Gate. This is the anime adaptation of the visual novel of the same name. It is also the sequel to Chaos;Head. It will confuse you. It will bombard you with SCIENCE and 2ch memes. It will amaze you.
Let’s get on with it shall we?
I will not be comparing this to it’s visual novel form. Let me make that clear.
Okay, episode one.
Story: Take LOST, add 50 cups Donnie Darko, a teaspoon of Inception, and a fuckload of primer. Naturally, you’d get Steins;Gate.
The story here is about a scientist (self proclaimed MADDO SCIENTISTU), Okabe Rintarou, who is constantly worried
...
that he is being tracked by the “Organization”. The way he sees it, they are after his technology. I mean, who wouldn’t want a microwave that teleports bannanas so far forward they turn to jelly? Right? Right. Oh, and time traveling texts and people not really dead...yet (spoiler? you'll find out!)
Then you have Shiina Mayuri. She is the shows…moe girl ditz character. She makes cosplay.
And Itaru. The nerd hacker 2ch fat guy.
And Chris. The girl who dies but then doesn’t die. Wait what? Also, super smart.
Yes, Steins;Gate, so far, is a cluster of ‘wait what?’. This episode’s main plot points are the satellite that has fallen on the roof of the building where Okabe was attending a meeting by a guy claiming to have a formula for time travel when really, he just Copy-pasta’d the John Titor story onto a paper and made it Japanese. Spoilers the satellite is a time machine. Then, you find out that Chris has been murdered. But then, she isn’t murdered. OH SHIT YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS? Then you have the time travel microwave oven and time traveling texts. Yes. This is like LOST without the constant smoke monster attacks and characters appearing everywhere. I don’t want to talk too much about the story, because that would mean I have to spend more time typing in this category, which isn’t my favorite category. It’s a great first episode, really sets up what is to come. And there is a shitton to come.
Artwork: What can I say? White Fox, you are now in the list of my favorite animation studios. The art is clean and vivid. Also, they make Jelly Bananas look yummy.
Music: That theme. Gate of Steiner is the theme that plays at the end of the episode. It’s a great theme. I am fucking glad that they kept the original soundtrack.
