The Good:
- Outstanding romance drama which presents affection and rejection in mature way. Both in storytelling and dialouges.
- Fun and quirky female characters that went through beautiful emotional development throughout the series.
- Slow pace that let the characters demonstrate their full spectrum of emotions(hope, courage, love, rejection, loss, coping, moving on).
- Toned comic relief scenes that suplement the show, but do not spoil the atmosphere.
- Memorable supporting characters with clearly defined purpose to the story.
- Stellar presentation which blended realistic yet stylized backgrounds.
- Plentiful of small animation details that elevate the visual fidelity.
The Bad:
- Marginal evelopment of Nukumizu, who had one of a kind
...
opportunity to rise to an occasion and demonstrate his emotional development.
- Rest of male cast didn't deliver on that aspect as well.
The Ugly:
- Nil.
Conclusion:
Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines is an exceptional romance Anime that flips the genere and presents itself from different angle. Girls, stars of this show, deliver rollercoaster of emotions and carry the story in entertaining, yet mature way. Although rejection is the overall premise, it doesn't make the Anime upsetting. Quite the opposite. It demonstrates that facing loss, cultivating friendship, having hope and caring for others brings joy and happiness to life.

The Good:
- Art direction is spectacular with many experiments that elevate the show to another level
- Cinematic frame compositions are on top of the medium
- Beautiful Character development of main and supporting roles exposing full range of emotions within the characters
- Opening and Ending (especially ending) OST just fits exceptionally well (love that guitar in the end <3)
- Great presentation of showbusiness with all its merits. Good and bad.
- Unexpected plot twists that push the narrative further and keeping the viewer engaged
The Bad:
- First episodes are exposition heavy
- Perplexed ending that doesn't feel well directed. Too many important plot points take place in the
...
last episode.
The Ugly:
- nil
Conclusion:
2nd Season of Oshi No Ko is a great follow up after first one. Anime is meticulously crafted. From presentation, art direction to character development it demonstrates high creative potential and passion of the studio. Story develops with each next episode and beautifully closes the arc of Tokyo Blade show. That said, ending felt somewhat puzzling and disjointed from the whole story, but sets good grounds for the 3rd Season.

the Good:
- Brilliant Art Design
- Memorable OST that fits the overall presentation. Great opening/ending.
- Enjoyable and interesting main characters
- Interesting lore and premise of the story
- Quality of animation, frame compositions and action sequences look great
The Bad:
- Although interesting premise, it's a remix of all Cyberpunk/Sci-Fi tropes that we have seen before
- Too many supporting characters who drag throughout the episodes, making the plot difficult to catch up
...
The Ugly:
- The storytelling is a total mess. It is caused by enormous shortcuts to compress the story in 13 episodes. This result in large amount of important information delivered to the viewer in form of exposition heavy dialogues between characters.
- And then followed by many logically flawed events.
- Plot twists are extensively used to push the story conveniently further, therefore they lack any emotional baggage and become exhausting over time.
- Presentation of supporting characters is chaotic. They jump in and out between episodes. Their actions doesn’t seem to have sense until explained later.
- Atmosphere is spoiled due to fast pace and frequent jumps between locations.
Conclusion:
It is heavily frustrating to see Metallic Rouge doing so many things right and yet falling apart on the most important aspect: delivering a good story. If you ignore plot shortcuts, chaotic pacing, missing blanks and pay attention to the story, you will enjoy a fantastic world with coherent presentation that stands out in nowadays underrepresented Cyberpunk/Sci-Fi genre. For anyone who is not a fan of this genre, watching it will feel like a chore.

The good:
- Character designs are stellar,
- Interesting lore and setting,
- Music is decent,
- Backgrounds look nice,
- Action sequences are a notch better compare to Season 1.
The bad:
- But still contextual an below action genre,
- Overall presentation is still below expectation. Many scenes are designed in a way to substitute more complex animations,
...
- It is hard to follow the plot with so many characters randomly drop in & out for an episode or two and...
- By result non of them is properly fleshed out and developed.
- Doctor is such an useless character that brings nothing to the story.
The ugly:
- Fist five episodes are poorly written. Plot takes too many shortcuts. Random events and characters are loosely connected together as if the writers had a defined checkpoints to reach in the plot. Here is an example: Amiya and others were left behind by Ch'en in nomadic town, but it didn't matter, because Amiya drops out of nowhere two episodes later on top of LGD HQ to save Ch'en. How this happened? Ah yes, Swire called Ch'en in that very moment to say that she rescued Amiya. But wait! In chapter 7, story goes back to chapter 2 timeline to explain what happened. The sole reason for that timeline acrobatics is to give FrostNova exposition on the end of the series as she is a key character to the story.
Conclusion:
Arknights: Touin Kiro is better from it's prequel, but still far from it's full potential. The story improves a lot in the end, but it's to little to late. Very wide cast of characters doesn't help to follow the action. It leaves viewer with confusion and demands absurd script to glue everything together. With promising ending that saved the show, I hope the sequel will improve it's storytelling which is the main gripe of the series.

The Good:
- interesting lore
- art and character design (excluding the Doctor)
- soundtrack is decent
The Bad:
- 70% of each episode is exposition, only 30% action
- action is lackluster and contextual. They cheap out on animaton.
The Ugly:
...
- storywriting and plot is appaling. You are thrown straight into the action without context who is who and why they are doing it. The authors are trying to fix it by overexposed, boring dialouges to give you the idea of the situation.
- and then, they ask you to feel emotional for sacrafices the characters make in first episodes.
- Main Character with lost memory may be a good fitting for the game, but it doesn't work out in the Anime. He is just a passanger on the journey.
In conclusion:
This Anime is mostly for fans of the game. People who didn't play the game will feel weary of long exposition and wont't engage with the story.
