This is the best comedy anime I've ever seen, and I've seen quite a bit of anime in my day.
The best part of this show by far is the characters. You've just gotta love these clueless idiots. They take all the typical Isekai tropes and flip them on their heads. The MC, Kazuma, instead of being an overpowered cool guy, is an expectant jerk who thinks things will always go his way and is a bit of a perv. the time, then begs her party members for money. Megumin is the cute little sister archetype, but along with that is a childish brat. The last of the MC's is Darkness, who appears to be the calm-and-collected, self-sacrificial, older sister type. But why would someone in a world as cruel as Konosuba be so willing to risk her life for others? Well, as it turns out, those 'selfless acts of heroism' are driven by very selfish masochism. In fact, she often risks her life and the lives of her party members just to satisfy her masochism.
Just reading this part of the jerk, the brat, the meme wizard, and the weirdo, you'd think you'd hate all tease characters, right? Well, the show somehow does the complete opposite. You've just gotta love these wonderful idiots. Especially the #BestWorstGirls
