A manga that brings a strange feeling of “home”, where right from the start the author shows the protagonists' childhood traumas, with the problems with their parents leading them to traumas and mental blocks.
How could these childhood problems disrupt their personal relationships? In both cases, comfort was found in the books.

It's cute, the artwork is a little fickle, but it has its charm, and I'd easily recommend it to anyone who wants to read it on a Saturday.
The idea of finding yourself and feeling good in each other's presence is a good thing to have once in a while.

I've just finished this anime, and as you can see, I recommend it, because it's definitely not the kind of movie you see on a daily basis.

"After building a train engine, Matthew Tiny leaves town when the factory owner claims it, but the engine has a mind of its own and decides to go its own way." That's a summary of Ra Ta Ta Tam, a book by Peter Nickl, a spiritual guide to the movie. The protagonist here is our very own Matthew Tiny.

Spending a long night discovering different tastes, flavors, people and places, enjoying life in the best way: that's the ...

Claudine...! (Manga) add
Claudine is the kind of manga
that has come to be called "ahead of its time", because it brings up debates that we're not used to seeing dealt with so well, even nowadays, where sensitive topics such as transsexuality and homoaffectivity are so fetishized.

He is a man who often claims to be a man (a trans man) and that doesn't stop him from suffering like any human being, suffering from love. As is typical of romanticism, the reader can see the tragic issue here being either unrequited love or love forbidden by families, like Romeo and Juliet, Tristan and Isolde, among many others...

Claudine ...

Ongaku (Anime) add
Spoiler
As an almost single-handed work, Ongaku take 1hour of your day. Is it too much? In my opinion, no.

About the animation, what I can say is that the lack of dynamism in the more everyday scenes is something that makes part of the story a little boring, but this is compensated in the moments of catharsis, where there is an explosion of colors and expressions, which make On-Gaku such a unique piece artistically speaking.

Here we have de main protagonist, Kenji, who is kinda bored of life, the fights and things he usually do, always trying to do new things and giving ...

Mirai - 2018 - A movie you should watch with your family on a Sunday evening, because it's a movie about family.

My personal experience began with thinking it was about how moments of distance between parents and children lead to children creating "worlds" in their minds and making the mind work as hard as it can to fill the emotional gap and thus draw their own conclusions without a guide to show it the ways of life.
From the second stage of the movie, I had a clearer idea: the movie is about how we learn from each other throughout life, living and learning, ...

Spoiler
I didn't even know this existed until a few days ago, even though I've known Yojouhan for years.

First things first: These 3 specials should be seen AFTER "Tatami Galaxy Time Machine Blues". The idea of the group hanging out there and discussing weird and random things adds a lot to the narrative of time travel.
On to the specials themselves: I like that the studio used a cheap production but it works with the "fairytale-type story". But yeah, it's really not on the same level as the other works from the same anime franchise.
All episodes have no more than 8 minutes, so you should ...

Aku no Hana (Anime) add
Spoiler
An interesting topic in Aku No Hana, among the many topics, is the fact that they constantly show spoiled scenarios. It's a crooked pole, a broken sign, a dirty street, old signs and not-so-fertile plantations.
It seems like every anime is always sponsored by the Japanese Ministry of Tourism, but that's not the case here. The scenes always show the same scenarios, from the exact same angle, which shows the viewer that there is an imaginary prison there. Of course, everything is still within what the work proposes and what we want to see.
I personally found the first part of ...

this manga could be even better.

The first 5 chapters are wonderful. Dealing with each of them individually and how the dynamic with the cat works is wonderful.

The fact that they are girls who are on the path to becoming a woman makes even more sense when dealing with their Ascension as a witch, because in a way, things start to get a little more boring when you have to choose a profession and think about the future, but that doesn't mean everything should stop being magical.

The following chapters are still good, but lose some of the shine from the beginning.

I have a long history with Kimagure Orange Road. I don't remember exactly when I started watching the anime, but I believe it was in 2018 or 2017.
I never wanted to end it too quickly, as it was always a pleasure to be consumed slowly, as it is a 1988 anime after all.

Today, I finished the film that ends the story. I had this promise to myself, that I would only finish the film when I graduated, and here I am, at this crucial moment trying to explain a little what this extremely individual experience I had was.

The entire Kimagure (anime) has an episodic rhythm. ...

Sayonara Eri (Manga) add
Spoiler
I just finished Sayonara Eri. I don't usually do reviews here, but I believe I need to say my opinion here so that my future self still remembers these details well.

First: at this current date, I consider it to be Fujimoto's best work, and that reinforces that the man still has a lot to get even better, bringing a new series after CSM or even more one-shots.

Among several points to be mentioned about the manga, the central plan of the plot is the question of the need or not-need to separate fiction and reality, because in several points of the ...
