It has blood and naked bodies... and blood and... and... animation! And blood... and... Uh... Uhm... blood?
Did I mention that there is a lot of blood in this anime? No? Then this series likes blood.
Another year and another adaptation of classic fairy tales didn't work out very well. The anime adapts six classic fairy tales in the span of one hour episodes, such as Cinderella or Little Red Riding Hood and because these hour-long episodes do not follow each other in any way, you can see them separately.
Originally, I believed that it would turn out better than I read online, that it couldn't
...
be that bad... But it is. The very first episode, adapting Cinderella in its own style, will clearly and very strongly indicate the direction of the plot of the individual stories and how "half-baked" and ill-conceived they actually are. How much they don't work as stories, and how only few things make sense to you even in the case of Cinderella, which is (at least according to the internet, because I'm not going to devote six hours of my time to this series) the best the whole series has to offer.
Individual plots that have nothing to do with the original parts except the names of the stories, has the same little problem - the authors expect you to figure everything out as you watch this ass show, but they don't tell you ANYTHING beforehand.
In the case of Cinderella, the story is the opposite, in other words, Cinderella is a sociopath which sounds like an interesting premise... But why does she have a talking doll? Why and how does she do all this? Why are her motives explained in the style of "I like (fill in any word that comes to mind here)" and why, in the name of true and false gods, there is that stupid talking doll there? It's so useless, it's just for effect and it only spoils an already poorly created plot with bad characters, bad pacing and bad ending.
Put it simple, whole story is about - I am evil, I will be evil, but you will never really know why I am is evil. And its even worse, because her individual actions don't make sense, her behavior as well, and the ending as well.
And in exactly the same way, and its is even worse, because the world in which the second fairy tale takes place makes absolutely no sense so you has no idea what's going on whole time, is built also the second story. And after that I said to myself - No.
And I say the same thing to you. No. Don't watch it, it's a completely stupid series that builds on blood and meaninglessness.
Watch hentai, because even that makes more sense than this.

This anime is that kind that I will like, but also regret that I have ever started watching it.
From the very beginning, it was clear to everyone that Mushoku is very specific and controversial. On the one hand, an interesting world, albeit with significant flaws, on the other hand... absolutely disgusting MC, extreme emphasis on obvious loli fetishes, pedophilic behavior, etc. And directly from the hands of the author. Rudy was always hard to like, to gain sympathy... But what they made him to do this season... Oh boy...
The whole season could be summed up in one sentence. "I'm behaving like an unfaithful beast, I
...
know what I'm doing is wrong, I know I'm hurting my wife who makes a great sacrifice for me... But I'll do it anyway and then I'll use a victim card.“ I wish I could tell you more about the whole thing, I really do... but the fact of Rudy's disgusting behavior overshadows it all. It overshadows the development of characters, the introduction of new ones, finally some adventure again, a shocking death (which didn't affect me much)... it overshadows everything because Rudy is just a disgusting in last 3 episodes. What's worse is that the plot overtakes all this behavior and in a certain sense supports it, which only shows what a real miracle Mushoku is in the sense that such a constellation of fetishes became popular.
I know very well that the characters in Mushoku are not perfect and everyone makes mistakes, but this is not about a mistake that happened, this is about... prioritizing your own happiness over the satisfaction of others. It's even worse that Rudy, although he is aware of his behavior, tries to defend it by playing on the little girl's feelings... literally. The resulting, "I know you're a pervert, now give me a kiss," shows how the story and the author condone and cheer for this behavior, glorify it, and don't punish Rudy for it in any way.
But the reason I continued to watch the anime before wasn't Rudy, because Rudy is losing ground - he's not interesting enough compared to the other characters. Norn is great example, within three episodes, she became one of the mainstays of the season, almost completely she overshadowed even Rudy. Which... Is bad? Or not? It's.... It's.... Wro-good!
Other than that, there's not much to talk about here. The animation is still of high quality and proves that a group of high-quality animators are working on Mushoku, the music falters a bit compared to the first half of the season and I literally can't remember a single song from this part of the season, but maybe that was the goal(?) To save the best for next time. The characters are still interesting and unique, but rather like popularity-meter, your hate-meter will increase by a few centimeters for some of them.
But the thing that definitely deserves praise are the voice actors, they did a fantastic job, especially the voice actress Norn deserves a raise for her fantastic performances that sold Norn to me perfectly. In many cases, it is not the animation, the story or the characters, but the perfect work of the voice actors that keeps you glued to the screen.
Mushoku definitely needs to change a bit if it doesn't want to be seen as just a bunch of weird things and if Rudy doesn't want to become the most hated MC of today industry, because that is exactly what is happening. I will watch next season as well, I have no reason not to, and at the same time, if you watch Mushoku yourself, go for it, you won't be disappointed... just sometimes disgusted.
Overall: 7/10 - And yes, all of three points are gone because of all of that NTR, loli and pedophilia shit...

It is hard to descripe Dungeon Meshi, but most of you would call it something like.... story about autistic leader who want to eat anything that moves while covering it with mision to save his sister. And... it work pretty well. Of cource this show is not perfect. It has problems with making main char. (Laois) likable, guys like Chilchuck are not discovered properly and whole story moves on only after episode 8+, but it has an interesting story, cast, main problem and what is most important - mean cat woman. What else you can possibly want?
Sound: Songs, intro and outro are interesting enough to
...
make you want to hear them, but it is not something that you will rebember. Anime heavily depend on dialoges which is not a bad thing, on contrary it only shows that studio has conviction and confidence that you will be interested enough in chemistry of characters.
Story: What i said earlier.... you can not describe story differently, but it is fun, it works and most importantly, it makes you want to know more. Animation is also good and kinda specific and it works pretty well even during fights scenes.
Characters: Aside from Marcille and Senshi we... dont know much about them really. Nor Falin or Laois, which is not a good thing because both of them are main "engines" of the story. I mean, we know that both of them has some goals and things that make them specific, but when you can say mainly about Laois that he like to eat weird things... i dont know, but i dont see it as a good thing. Original? Yes, but not good.
All around, Dungeon is very unique, fun and entertaining story which i can recommend, but if you want to see more... mature story, more... deep (Dungeon, dungeons are deep and in ground, hahahhahahahha), be prepared that maybe, just maybe, you will be disappointed. Yet still, something that you CAN NOT miss in current seasion.
8/10

It's not... bad. Because of Shadow Garden and animation. But the MC is the reason I can't watch it anymore. If you're into the "I'm a dork and emo, love me" type, this is your guy. But for humanity's sake... don't torture yourself. I don't know what kind of white powder the author sniffed when he decided on the characteristics of this character, but I'll probably ask to contact the dealer. It is the definition of your ideas that you had at thirteen. A perfect young man in a black hood who lives at night and no one can match him! On the other hand,
...
I understand why he is... even after two series, I can't remember his name, in short, I can understand why the MC got such "characteristics". Every man sometimes wants to feel invincible. I am not an exception! But I also want to see... SOMETHING!
During the first series, it was still bearable, but now when we have the world, characters and story outlined, but none of it develops more thanks to the MC... the anime loses its reason to watch. On the other hand, I believe that this kind of series is what some of you are looking for.
The only thing that can be praised is the animation. It shows that the authors had enough money and will. The music itself doesn't stand out. But the licensed Mozart always pleases... well, it was only played there once, but I still consider it a success.

I expected quite a lot from it. if nothing else, I wanted to see cool fights between humans and gods. And you know what I got? Talking, watching characters turn into weapons talking, talking, talking... UhUh... Oh, and also long shots of the opponents looking at each other with evil expressions.
Characters And Story 4/5:
The story is not complicated. The gods are angry on humanity and want to exterminate them. But people have the right to fight back, and if they win at least seven of the 14 fights in the arena, they will be spared. Nothing complex, but it can work if the characters
...
are interesting. They are not. Instead of learning their motivations and the reasons why they want to fight for the future of humanity... you only learn how incredibly strong they are because one of the nameless characters says so.
Fights 1/10:
"Oh monkey, don't be silly. It's not about story but about fights! They are for sure great and amazing to watch!" No my friends... Do you want to know how many blows the opponents exchanged during the first three episodes? Three... Four if I count the evil looks.
Music, animation 1/10:
Music? Theme? Was there something like that? The animation itself is nice at first glance, but rushed at a closer look. It really hurts to watch a scene where there is a half-minute shot of a group of about a hundred people, when they all look the same. They created one model and put it side by side. And they even converted this clone army into 3D.
This anime is worse than my English skills...
