SHY has some nnnnnice character design and quite ddddecent animation bbbbut the dialogue in SHY is so boring. Teru the main character is a very sssshy girl and is just not interesting at all. She is not very confident so cccconstantly doubts herself, she gives off pick me girl energy.
If reading this annoyed you, this is exaclty how Teru talks, she constantly stutters and is always surprised because of her lack of confidence.
The villain group are way more interesting because they actually seem to have a background story and more personality in their left toe than the MC.
I give this a Mixed Feelings

Hananoi-kun for me doesn't feel like a romance anime but instead a psychological thriller were Hananoi is gaslighting and keeping Hotaru hostage while she develops stockholm syndrome for him. Any romance or heartfelt moments falls flat because of this.
At first I thought Hananoi and Hotaru are both pretty bad people because one is forcing someone to fall in love with him and the other just wants to experience what love is so they start dating eachother. After a few episodes Hotaru finally realizes what love is and they officially become a couple. But Hananoi is kinda possesive of Hotaru and is outright rude to some ...

This show tries to be deep but comes over very pretentious when they are spouting things like:
