Oh. My. Lanta.
Sooooooo good! I had no expectations when entering the realm of Yasuke and it blew my mind! No stupid cotton candy hair cliche characters. No basic anime tropes.
This show is mature and deep. The soundtrack is excellent! The original hip hop and dynamics in the music score elevate every mood in each episodes. The intro and outro music/animation are so well done and original.
The animation quality is also outstanding! The animators are so talented and episode 3 has some of the best artistic and most original expression you will see in animation today. Talk about beautiful! The story line is
...
original and does a great job of hopping back and forth between the past and the present to tie feelings together.
All of the characters come with great personality and you won’t find the dead horse typical anime characters you find in other series here. You don’t get the quiet kid that whispers with absolutely no enthusiasm and you don’t get the annoying high pitched whiny brat. I love that this show keeps a serious tone while slipping in comedy every few minutes. I laughed quite a bit!
Overall, I enjoyed every minute of this gem and it was such a refreshing and different series. We need more anime like this that break the worn out mold.
Cheers!

BGHK has the Rosario+Vampire cute appeal!!!
Long reviews waste your time, so here's a short sweet paragraph.
Comedy, ecchi, and romance are the spotlight genres here. BGHK's story slays these dragons with ease. The story pours mountains of comedy onto you in the form of dirty dialogue and embarrassing situations. Ecchi is always supported of course by our female lead trying to burn her v-card realizing she has no idea what she's doing; and the romance that develops will exceed your expectations. The characters are adorable and shy without becoming annoying like these characteristics tend to become. The male MC was pretty dull but the rest
...
of the characters make up for it well. Yamada is so nuts it's beautiful! There's no problem with the artistic vision of this anime. The coolest thing about each episode is it felt like you were watching 2 every time. You'll see what I mean. The soundtrack is adorable and the intro is soooooo catchy. I loved it. Bottom line is, if you're looking for something cute and funny to watch that is similar to Rosario+Vampire then this is for you. Enjoy!
Pros:
-Correct amount of fanservice. Not too much and not too little.
-Cute and adorable story.
-Positive vibes.
-Extremely funny!
-Catchy soundtrack/intro.
Cons:
-Not quite the ending you want.

Prison school obviously has a fanservice/humor goal and it blasts it out of the park.
PS is a masterpiece of the ecchi genre rivaling DXD, to be sure.
Long reviews waste your time, so here's a short sweet paragraph.
The art in PS is of the highest caliber. All lighting, shading, expressions, and details are drawn insanely well. This anime had me bursting out with laughter more so than any comedy I have ever seen. Try not to eat or drink liquids when you watch this because every couple of seconds you're bound to spit it out. This anime is LOADED with AMAZING fanservice and everything is incredibly
...
detailed. The plot is also unique and absolutely perfect for setting up the humor and fanservice of this series. Sure, you won't find yourself in tears like a good drama plot but this anime is not a drama. It's downright hilarious and it crosses so many lines. The soundtrack is perfect for the series as well. There's lots of epic tunes to make a huge deal out of something so hilariously simple. The cast of characters is also brilliant. At first I thought you these guys were so weird but they actually turn out to have very specific personalities. The female leads are also very individual and the epidomy of sexy. All in all, if you love ecchi, fanservice, and comedy then this is your masterpiece rivaling ecchi tyrants such as DXD.
Pros:
-Oustanding animation and detail.
-Absolutely hilarious!!!
-Comical storyline.
-Excellent non-cliche characters.
-10/10 fanservice around the clock.
Cons:
-Unspectacular soundtrack.

Steins;Gate made me forget to eat and led me into what I now estimate to be a week of depression. That being said, it's an incredible anime.
Long reviews waste your time, so here's a short and sweet paragraph.
SG leads you to think you are going to watch a show about time travel. However, this show is about protecting one another and changing the course of history in the smallest ways you wouldn't expect. The feels in SG are soooooo heavy. The art is perfect for the storyline. It has this dark yet ambient sepia feel but in a subtle way so that you barely notice.
...
Another amazing thing this anime does is cut out the k-pop intro and outro. Every episode is a solid full one rarely displaying credits. The characters are beautiful. Nothing cliche here. The way they display these friendships and delicately tie together new relationships is unparalleled. The MC is especially unique considering his outlandish dialogue which feels odd at first but then certainly becomes admirable. I personally would've liked to hear some more memorable tunes for the soundtrack, but this is a masterpiece nonetheless. All in all, this is top 3 for me and a well deserved 9/10 on MAL.
Pros:
-Strong feels.
-Golden characters.
-Unbelievable plot.
-Perfect ending.

One Punch Man=Action/Humor.
Long reviews waste your time so here's one short paragraph.
Don't let the fact that this dude kills bad guys with one punch deter you. The developers knew that would get boring, so he is always accompanied by balanced heros to give you an action packed fix with dire circumstances. That being said, the characters in this anime are great! The heros he encounters all have unique personalities and abilities. It's also hilarious to see the different villains that emerge. One Punch Man tries to achieve ranks in a hero society of this story so he can become popular and recognized. But everyone thinks
...
he is just a cheater even though he's the most powerful hero alive. The irony they build here will have you rolling in laughter. The art design is great. Everything is drawn with great detail and the fight scenes are epic in scale. The soundtrack isn't bad but it's not great. They throw in some distorted guitar and it sort of has is grungy garage band feel so it's okay. At the end of the day, One Punch Man isn't at the top of my list but it's definitely worth a watch.
Pros:
-Hilarious heroes and villains.
-Unique and humorous storyline.(it's not what you'd expect)
-Solid MC.
-Incredible action and art.
Cons:
-Unspectacular soundtrack.

If I watch 6 episodes and I'm still bored, they're not doing it right.
Long reviews waste your time, so here's a short sweet paragraph.
I'm sorry guys. Time is valuable and if I feel miserable watching an anime this slow so I have to move on. I gave Magi 6 episodes and it wasn't terrible. It just wasn't interesting or inspiring. The storyline seemed fair but it was just too slow for me. The action is so scarce and every episode felt more like some friendship lesson. It had too much of a PG vibe and instead of delivering divine punishment to these worthless spoiled slavers
...
that pop up, their punishment was soft. That quickly degraded the atmosphere of this story for me. Maybe it gets way better, but 6 episodes is taking too long. The art is also fair. There isn't a lot of detail or any unique sort of style. It's very basic and unimpressive. There are many anime that obliterate this one in terms of art design. The soundtrack was also boring. The music wasn't bad but it isn't great either. Nothing special to hum to or get inspired by. What pulled the soundtrack score up for me though was that it at least matched its eastern atmosphere. The characters also had a very basic feel. They were too quiet and lacked defining personalities. The only character who stood out to me was Aladdin because his innocent attitude felt pure and just. All in all, Magi is just too slow to search for its jewels. It's better to watch an anime that does its job the entire time.
Pros:
-Unique story and atmosphere.
Cons:
-Uninspirational soundtrack.
-Mediocre art design.
-Extremely slow/boring story progression.
-A bit too "Disney"/PG feeling.
-A lack of justice delivered to villains.

DO NOT LET THE WEIRD ART STYLE TURN YOU AWAY.
KLK deserves its popular opinion.
Long reviews waste your time, so here's a short and sweet paragraph.
Firstly, the music score in this anime is outstanding! The tunes are catchy and will have you humming away. KLK music is used all over YouTube by anime fans with good reason. Secondly, the characters are so unique! It's the little things that bring each character to life. The bubbly of Mako, the 1/2 punchline of Tsemugo, the strong female lead of Ryuuko, the opening collar of Houka, the resolve of Ira, and even the silly dog! The list goes on
...
and on! You won't find a single cliche character here. The art in this anime is not a premium quality, but that's because it has its own flavor and style. What it lacks in detail it makes up for in rock solid combat and environmental staging. The combat scenes are insane!!!! So many 360 flips with a fast pace that doesn't stop for 5 minutes in the middle of combat for dragged out reflection of a bunch of bullshit you already know. These warriors waste no time getting to the point. Additionally, this anime is hilarious! They've mastered the art of mixing humor into the action for maintaining a healthy balance. The story is so funny! You cannot say clothes trying to take over the world is not a fresh approach. And they manage to roll this onto you in a serious and humorous way at the same time. All in all, KLK is an armored titan among anime leaving no gaps. You cannot regret watching this. Even critics that despise this anime give it 6/10 as a testament to resist their true feelings of a higher rating.
Pros:
-Amazing characters.
-Unbelievable soundtrack.
-Perfect blend of humor and action.
-Fast paced battles wasting no time.
-Refreshing and inspiring art style.
-Mountains of laughter.
-Mild fanservice.
Cons:
-Aniplex charges an arm and a leg for this series.

Elfen Lied was a gored letdown.
For simple pros and cons refer to the bottom.
Long reviews waste your time, so here's a short and sweet paragraph.
Elfen Lied has a pretty basic story that's nothing to die for. You don't feel desperate or compelled to protect anyone. Their situation isn't very dire as they just happen to stumble upon an alien with extreme powers and decide to take care of it instead of calling the cops. I call it an alien in order to preserve mystery. The plot was just too slow and unbearable. The art is extremely poor. You have to remember it's 2004 though. Pools
...
of blood didn't have light detail drawn into them. It kind of felt like you go into the paint program, click a red color with the fill tool, and fill the circle of blood. All art shared this dry feeling. The sound quality in this anime is aweful. The nearly complete absence of music makes you feel like you are watching paint dry. The dialogue is lifeless and without the accompanying music you'll feel like your in a studio watching the recording process through glass. This contributed heavily to the characters being uninteresting and lifeless. The only characters who are noteworthy are the aliens and Bando because he's the only one who feels like he has a personality. The knife in the heart of this anime is the large lack of music. They put some effort into the intro song which occasionally surfaces but the gaps are just too wide. It felt like a complete lack of effort and neglected an entire element of anime. All in all, there are definitely worse anime but watching Elfen Lied was like watching paint dry. You should watch plenty other anime before this.
Pros:
-Decent fanservice.
-Gorey design.
Cons:
-Slow story.
-Lifeless characters.
-Dry art.
-Nearly nonexistent soundtrack.

Finally! An MC with confidence who's not afraid of pussy!
Long reviews waste your time, so here's one short paragraph.
TS has a very distorted magic system that's not much to care for. The music is nothing special. The plot is pretty lame. However, the MC makes this anime shine. The dude is not afraid of women and he's loaded with sly comments on the subject. There is a tiny bit of fanservice and it's highly censored so they don't draw nipples. The cast of women is very nice and I've heard some voice acting complaints. Let me just say that there is no problems with
...
the voice acting and all characters voices fit the characters fine. Thank god they didn't include some brat character with pigtails that slaps the MC every 47 seconds. All in all, TS is a good anime sprinkled with fanservice and loaded with comedy.
Pros:
-Funny as hell.
-Medium fanservice.
-Confident MC who's not afraid of women.
-Great voice acting.
-Great character cast.
-Decent soundtrack.
-No loud brat/sister with pigtails archetype.
Cons:
-Confusing magic system.
-Mediocre story.
-High censorship.
-No nipples.

Accell World was incredibly boring.
Long reviews waste your time, so here's one paragraph.
AW had me going for the first couple of episodes and I even wasn't bothered by this pathetic cheeseburger of an MC. The animation rocked and the music was fine. Somewhere along the line though, the story just didn't accelerate(heh...) and the MC NEVER GREW. This dude is a pussy from first to last. Because of this, you can never root for the guy or feel sorry for him when bullshit happens. All in all, AW is a boring waste of time centered around a cheeseburger.
Pros:
-Great animation!
-Variety of characters.
Cons:
...
-Pathetic MC.
-Boring story.
