While telling different types of stories, both center around a quirky energetic girl and a guy that gets dragged along in her antics. Definitely worth watching if you appreciate Haruhi and Kyon as characters and would like to see similar characters in a romcom/coming of age setting. And just worth watching in general.

It's basically the second coming of Azumanga Daioh via Kyoto Animation. While it's paced very differently from AzuDai and follows a sketch show format without a three act structure, it has all kinds of wacky and relatable humor but still has a lot of heart and great characters.

Lucky Star is much more oriented toward otaku humor and references, but both are slice of life high school comedies in the same vein. Plus, Lucky Star has a cute and vibrant art style.
