I actually watched Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita a few months ago, but when I finished Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou I felt like it gave off kind of the same feeling. You know, when everyone look happy and take life as it comes there's this omnipresent melancholic feeling that never really disappears. The characters are the last people on earth, they know it, but they still manage to overcome this feeling and live their life with a sincere smile, and I find it both really sad and heartwarming. Oh, and the op and ed of both shows are absolute dope by the way.

...then you might like Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasu ka? Isogashii desu ka? Sukutte Moratte Ii desu ka? add

Ok did you like Plastic Memories ? Great for you, I surely didn't. I dropped it pretty quickly because I got pissed off at the fact that the plot was full of holes just to conveniently try to jam sadness in my heart (that didn't work obviously), and it felt horribly artificial (pardon the pun while talking about robots). However my point is, although Sukasuka doesn't have the same setting at all, the challenges put in front of the main character are pretty much the same. Except he isn't just a walking and talking dildo here just to satisfy the female cast like a VN protagonist. No, he actually is deep. And then there's the soundtrack. You're not ready. I warned you, you're not ready. Literally literally stunning. Like, I use the literal sense of "literally". So, yeah... Enjoy the feels train.

Go watch it. Seriously it's like someone got so frustrated watching Black Bullet that they decided to make the show a second time but right. So you get your giant beasts and the last hope of humanity turns out to be cute lolis with a short lifespan, but more ! First: it has an end. Like, a real, satisfactory one (you're not ready for the feels). Second: The main character is actually not a lolicon who doesn't assume. Do you imagine ? He treats kids like genuine kids and not potential sexual partners ! I've waited for that kind of character for faaaaaar too long. Last but not least (like, at all): THE SOUNDTRACK IS STUNNINGLY WONDERFUL. You're not ready for the intro scene of the year. well then, enjoy.

...then you might like Kemono Friends add

I know right, not really expected. But the world building is strangely, or should I say eerily similar. It starts off nice but then you slowly get to understand how wrong everything is in these universes. However be aware that the animation quality of one of these is far better than the other's. I'll let you guess which one it is.
