First things first the animation of this anime is beyond incredible, after all the use of actual martial artist and their respective moves in the creation of this anime and just overall amazing work from the animators makes for a visually amazing and beautiful fight scenes which pretty much takes about 70% of the entire anime, but because of that very reason during some of the later episodes some of the fight scenes just seems to last unnecessarily long, at one point you just have two guys hitting each other non stop without anything really happening as if they're just sparring rather than actually fighting,
...
yes it looks good and realistic but it just drags forever, fights don't last that long.
Now that we addressed the well animated elephant in the room let's move to the story, it's basically your typical battle arena anime, complete with the normal cast of semi-interesting characters that somehow have a backstory even though they literally only appear for one fight in one episode then either disappear or become irrelevant, and shady evil sh*t that happens behind the scenes, the story is pretty much acceptable but unexpected escalation isn't really my kind of thing and they do that here big time, the main cast of characters isn't really anything special we got someone that's just there to fight, someone with an impossible goal, and someone with a less impossible dream, the villains are your typical stepping stones which are either assholes, douchebags, or crazy f**ks.
Overall the anime is pretty enjoyable, if you're a big fan of fighting anime with great animation this anime is probably for you, if you're one of those people that can literally watch stop motion if it story is good enough then this probably isn't your cup of well written tea, pretty much the only reason i and most likely everybody else watch this anime is to see some visually pleasing scenes of human beings beating the living sh*t out of each other with their own unique (sometimes magical) set of well animated moves.

Every new season of Railgun that comes out just gets better and better, on the previous season we got one of the best arcs in the entire Raildex series the Sisters arc upgraded and more in-depth with more emotions and real intensity than from its previous showing in the 1st season of Index, in Railgun and Railgun S we see the story and hardships that Misaka and her friends went through during the period before and during the 1st Season of Index.
This time we have a mix of stories that happens during both the 2nd and 3rd Season of Index, in this season we were
...
introduced to a cast of brand new interesting characters and returning characters from other side stories or the main series, we are introduced to another level 5 and a more important and main role from Shokuhou Misaki which was introduced in the previous seasons (if you haven't read the LN) the team up of Misaka and Shokuhou is very interesting as before Shokuhou was pretty much introduced as a rival of sorts to Misaka and the anime uses that context to play the story in a very good and unexpected way.
There were two main arcs and several smaller stories to spruce things up and sometimes offer some much needed comedic relief after all the intensity the main arcs offer, Touma appears once again to offer our heroines some help and once again stealing the spotlight in someone else's show, for fans of the main characters of the show no worries because Touma's role this season isn't really as big as his role in the Sisters arc (because technically that arc is also one of his main arcs in Index) and he only shows in the first half of the show because we all know where he went after the Daihasei festival.
We also see the return of the Scavengers from Toaru Kagaku no Accelerator which plays a somewhat bigger role this time rather than their role as cannon fodder in their previous appearance, some returning dark side characters from previous seasons of Railgun and Index and some new interesting characters that we can expect to see more again in the future... well hopefully, we are also finally able to see some of the magical aspect of the Raildex world appear in this series albeit very brief, the anime of course stays true to it's core by introducing yet another crazy ass scientist doing some f**ked up research for the greatness of science and gets their asses handed to them.
Overall another great season of Railgun filled with intense action, amazing stories, and some interesting questions being asked though that's just for me, anyway hopefully we can finally get the clashing of science and magic that we have been wishing since the 1st f**king season of Index, and no Index III doesn't count.

Yes we all know that this anime is bad i'm not gonna say that it's, not but the reason i gave this rating is because it knows it's bad, it knows that it will never go to the top and that makes it overall enjoyable in my opinion, this anime is so bad it's funny, pretty much everything in this anime makes absolutely no f**king sense, everything is so random and nonsensical, that just shows that this anime isn't some serious fantasy with real stories and in-depth characters that you can relate and care about.
This anime is more of a parody more than anything really,
...
but unlike Konosuba that took a more realistic-ish approach and has real stories and characters, this anime have none of that it just makes absolutely zero sense whatsoever, characters show up out of nowhere, things happen for no reason, almost everything have weird ass names from places to characters.
The story in this anime is pretty much non-existent, it feels like free-roam rpg more than anything, the MC pretty much just travel from place to place does some random things fight some random guys and then move on, the Characters are in some weird sense very interesting and unique almost, their somewhat interesting and funny in their own weird way, the art and animation is nothing really special it isn't that great but at least it's not stop motion.
Overall i enjoyed this anime, by no means at all that this anime is good but i still enjoyed it anyway, and i think you should, this anime shows that not every anime that comes out have to be some top-level masterpiece beauty that can open the third eye of all human beings and is crafted by the descendants of Da Vinci, sometimes trashy anime like this is fine, you don't watch anime to learn some deep life lessons, you watch anime to enjoy it everything else just comes with it. Sorry for being a little preachy there but anyway i just hope more anime like this comes in the future and less tryhard garbage that just comes out worse than this.

First of all i can see why a lot of people don't like this anime and i understand why, to those that don't really like power fantasy or OP MCs in general this anime might not be for you, the MC is so insanely OP it's hilarious, he defeats the enemy with the most insane sh*t and the anime takes it absolutely seriously, that approach towards action is very reminiscent of JoJo's where the most hilarious absurd thing happens and the show takes it seriously, but that doesn't stop us from laughing our asses off
Overall i think this anime is hilarious, that may not be
...
what it tries to be but that's how i feel about it, there are times where i genuinely laugh my ass off because of how he defeats his enemies, in the very first episode he literally beat his enemy with his f**king heartbeat, this level OP garbage makes it both funny and exciting in it's own way, the character of our MC, Anos Voldigoad is a character befitting of his OP powers arrogant, cocky and shows no weakness whatsoever, the other characters isn't really that interesting, just your typical trope characters that isn't really interesting whatsoever, the Villains and enemies are pretty much there just to get their asses beat and they play that role very well sometimes showing some form of great power and ability but still defeated as expected.
My only problem with this anime is the story, the story was smooth sailing and pretty comfortable at first, just your typical magic high school with the usual tests, schemes, battle arenas and whatnot, but then all of a sudden in the later episodes sh*t just escalated quicker than Escanor is to flex, the big question and mystery of the story just gets answered instantly without any build up whatsoever, it just happens and then everything went to hell and then it stopped and the anime is over.
Overall it's an enjoyable anime, in no way in my opinion it could become any better no matter how many times i watch it it's probably not getting any better and my opinion won't change, it's not gonna be next big thing, it's not gonna be the new Overlord it's just going to be a funny, sometimes epic and exciting power fantasy.
