A cute little story.
It tries to address the struggles of being gay, unjust intolerance of gay people, and acceptance in a more honest way than most yuri. Nothing you haven't seen before, but it's pretty direct. It's not a main focus of the story and the execution of it can feel a bit rush and dramatized though. Most of story is kinda slice of life/hobby/traveling so it's a bit of whiplash to go from some pretty hard hate/bigotry to that, which it does twice.
It leads to some beautiful moments of support, but good lord does it remind me that manga like this really likes to
...
shy away from characters calling out other people's bull. I'd kill to have more manga stop with the internal monologuing of why those people are stupid, and instead just outright confront them on their flawed logic of sexuality and similar issues. They logically argue their points in their head but everything that comes out their mouths, if anything, is just nothing close to what they think.
I like the attempt here though, and overall it works. I just wish characters would stand up for themselves whole heartedly.
ANYWAYS
As I said before, if you like those slice of life type yuri where it has a lot of mundane activities like travel, fishing, and other random stuff each chapter, you'd probably really enjoy this. I like that kinda stuff and the added emotional aspects here and there make it a solid read.

Ahh yes. Another tea cafe yuri manga. It's a bit on the rarer side for a yuri theme. They're are usually pretty fine, but with not a lot going on. This one is no exception.
**Plot**
A slow burn story, if you can call it that, that mainly focuses on employees of a cafe being a bit cute and occasionally funny. Most of the scenarios are about what you'd expect from something like this, with a couple yuri moments kind of injected into it. Serving customers, dealing with rivals and trends... stuff like that.
It does a decent job at being cute, but like similar stories with this
...
theme, it lacks depth in most aspects.
The way it ends is pretty abrupt, as if it forgot certain elements of the story and it wanted to remind you of it at the end.
**Characters**
There's really not much to say here about the cast. The main girl that kicks off the story is bad with customers and smiling, but that's tossed to the wind outside of occasionally mentioning it make it seem like it's still something that matters.
It sets the mood for the story pretty well though. The characters are there for cute situations and that's about it.
The yuri aspect is pretty surface level and never feels that genuine. You get some blushing from several of the characters and a mild development, but it's nothing worth trying to get invested to.
**Art**
The art do be cute. Bonus points for eggplant paraglider t-shirt.
**Enjoyment**
It's fiiiine. Nothing special, but not terrible if you're a yuri or CGDCT fiend just looking for a quick, casual read.

A simple and short yuri!
it's a nice story about a girl that loves food and a delinquent. It's sweet, but not too much goes on throughout. The romance is pretty slow to get started, but everything that leads up to it is fairly adorable, even if it is a bit on the simplistic side.
The main characters are nice, but don't go in expecting too much outside of a bit of fluff from them. There are some sides, but they're mostly there for the setting and a few situations that arise throughout.
The art is good though and it does make for a nice, quick read with
...
no drama. If you're looking to for something to knock out in about an hour or so this is a good choice!

A decent story held back by its overbearing message.
**Plot**
The plot itself isn't really anything new or unique. There's some cool and sweet scenes, but every single male in the story is so comically sexist that it gets stale pretty quickly. The intentions are good, but it just brings the story down more than it does inspire. The group go somewhere or meets someone and the issue is always some dude being hyper sexist.
In the end your left with just a bland story that feels a bit stuck on repeat for every single scenario. Not terrible by any means, but just wholly mediocre.
**Characters**
A bit of a
...
saving grace for this manga, with some complicated thoughts accompanying it. The mains are stoic and cool hot girls that fall in love with other girls and act cute at times. As a yuri fan and lover of all things cute, hell yeah! But for the message trying to be conveyed, it's kinda comical in its own way. i'm not mad at it since maybe it's trying to push that message to men, but it feels like a weird mix and target audience?
I definitely wouldn't have read it if wasn't like this since the action tag alone would push me away as a romance guy, so maybe it's working? I'm not sure yuri fans are the best target for this though.
Anyways, there's more to the characters than what i've said above. They're pretty positive and have good messages, even if it's too much all the time every chapter. They could be better and have some more depth though.
**Art**
The art does its job. Looks good and consistent. It doesn't grab me much personally though.
**Enjoyment**
It's fine.
As a romance guy, this does not even remotely scratch that itch. It's there, but it's like an afterthought if anything, and for the other girls its pretty forced. Not that I expected this to be, but would have been nice to get something deeper on that front.
Might be good if you want some light reading to take up some time, but ultimately you can probably tell if you want to read this or not from your initial thoughts. It's *exactly* how it looks and doesn't strive to be anything else. Whether that's good or bad is up to you.

It's time to finally do a short review of this after rereading it for a 3rd time! Truly up there with the greats!
I should say I am *not* an ecchi guy. I can enjoy it some, but it's impossible to carry something with just that. I need some depth and a hyper generous helping of adorable, fluffy romance. There's talk of boobs, but not nearly enough about how god damn adorable these characters are as they fall in love.
**Plot**
A fairly lengthy story about a weirdo girl that loves boobs to a concerning degree. It's a pretty hilarious and fun direction to kick off a romcom
...
from, and somehow it works way too well. More than anything like this probably deserves.
It's very hard not to binge since it always engaging and funny every step of the way. The way the relationship progresses through the theme of the manga is pretty impressive since it never really abandon that theme at any point. Making a relationship evolve properly via groping of all things without delving into being mindless ecchi garbage is an incredible feat. You can tell the author put everything into making a genuine story, fun story, and by the end it's just so sweet you wanna cry.
**Characters**
The main characters here are fun and interesting. They communicate well and are quick to resolve issues that may arise, which is really nice. Unnecessary drama that drags on too long is a common issue in yuri and romance in general, so it's always refreshing to have competent mains in the spotlight.
The way their emotions and perspectives change on what they're doing as they learn more about each other is just too adorable and sweet. It's a nice, natural progression throughout the whole story and is the main reason you'll end up staying til the end.
The side characters that show up throughout are pretty solid as well. They support the mains well and add some nice variety to what's going on in any given moment without overstaying their welcome. They aren't too prominent since the main focus of the story is pretty heavily on the main duo, but it's never boring when they do show up.
**Art**
The art is the best of things. It's very consistent and looks amazing all the way through. It does a great job at selling the emotions of all the characters and is responsible for how damn precious the whole manga feels. It's one of the most important aspects of romance manga, and this one did a great job.
**Enjoyment**
Every time I go back through this it's always so fun. It's highly underrated and it's a damn shame this is the first full review of the manga. Seeing complaints about things you just didn't bother to read to see get resolved is wild, and gushing only about the boobs really just undermines the story and characters for what they are.
This is what ecchi *should* be.

This was... something.
It's mainly a story of misunderstandings and problems arising from no communication, constant lying, and deception. Every step of the way it's pretty hard to really like or even understand any of the characters. It's not uncommon in this genre to have things causing misunderstandings, but it's so frequent and back and forth from multiple characters that it outright devalues the worth of any of the relationships.
By the end you're left with a couple of loose ends, and the ones that get tied up just don't
...
feel good. It doesn't feel genuine, nor does it feel like the characters really learned why some of their actions were terrible. One of the character has a solid reason for being shitty but it never really resolves those issues. It leaves them in their current state and never comes back.
Personally i'd recommend just looking for anything else. The drama feels useless a lot of the times and it doesn't even lead to anything satisfying by the end. It's just a messy story in general.

Despite the synopsis of this sounding kinda suspect, it's actually quite a fluffy and funny story. The subject matter is a ero bookstore, but it doesn't really ever come up besides for jokes and isn't used to get into weird lewd stuff. The setting and characters are absurd and silly, but it plays well into the humor of it all. It's kinda actually wholesome feeling at times.
The art is pretty cute and well done. The plot is pretty much nonexistent since it mainly just a canvas for jokes, but it's also not just random nonsense like
...
you'd expect from typical gag manga.
As long as you don't take it too seriously it can be a decent quick read.

It's a decent story with decent characters. If you want something lovey dovey, this is *not* it. Honestly it barely checks the yuri box and never delves deep enough into that aspect of the story either despite feeling like it should in various moments of the manga. It kinda glosses over moments that would otherwise be pretty important moments.
It also feels much longer than you'd expect due most chapters being 35+ pages each, which is always a plus.
Overall a good read if you're not in it deeply for romance, and instead something more geared towards manga creation and related
...
topics/situations.

A solid yuri that makes for a nice, quick read. While it has a decent amount of chapters, most of them are only 4 pages long and tell a short scenario. There's not a lot of depth or build up, but it is very cute and the art looks great.
The two girls are obviously into each other and the main guy, Otaku, is the worlds best wingman. Homedude just helps out and then goes about his day. Kinda turns the self insert archetype on it's head since he's doing his best to remove himself from the story. One of the girls teases him a
...
bit, but it's obviously not meant to be taken seriously. You'd be a fool to think anything else was going on regarding him. More so the more you read.
Overall it's just a wholesome read that features a lot of cute tropes from romance. Really the only downside is there isn't more to add a bit of depth and expand the characters more. Definitely feels like it should be 2-3x longer.

A very solid yuri that's held back by the worst thing possible. Ending too soon making it feel rushed.
Usually when a story hits the climax you get to ride out that feeling into more cute stuff for a bit as everything winds down, but here you get met with an instant "The End" which kills the mood real quick.
It's not the strongest yuri i've ever read, but it definitely had the potentially to be a great yuri to come back to enjoy and reread if it had a much stronger and satisfying end.
Quick breakdown of everything.
Art: Very cute and fun. Looks great.
Plot: Slow
...
for things to happen, but has some nice buildup. The rushed end hurts this a lot.
Characters: While the mains are fun to watch, you never get to really enjoy them fully. The side characters are kinda just there and rarely contribute much to the story.
Enjoyment: I still liked everything I saw despite the specific complaints. Worth the read, just don't have high expectation for the resolution of it all.
