First few episodes, it was fine with Kaoruko crying all the time. But she cries all the time, she whines, she bowls, she whines, she bowls. She is very annoying, no personality development. Like seriosuly for real? There is a little development at the last episode. She gets help all the time from everyone, doesn't help others. SHE HAS NO REDEEMING QUALITIES. And then she feels bad, guilty and hates herself. Man, im done. She pities herself and more. Did her parents not teach her like not to cry or anything? Her middle name is Crying. She cried every episode 100%. If she doesn't want
...
to be treated like a kid then pls stop crying for gods sake for 5 minutes.

Story (7) & Character (6)
The Story nor the character is anything unique, it's filled with tropes. The female lead is sick with some disease, the male lead is this gloomy with 'life sucks & i don't care' type of attitude. The only uniqueness to this manga is male leads story of loving flowers and his pursuit for it. Tropes doesn't necessary mean its a bad thing.
The pacing could have been better, since its a one-shot I know that it wasn't going to show every small developments. But I wish it showed more signs of the male lead falling in
...
love. The development of their relationship was very rushed.
Art (9)
The art isn't unique or special but looks very good. It doesn't downgrade the one-shot, but upgrades and helps with the story. The art looks detailed and I quite like it. The art alone didn't carry the manga, but certainly contributed greatly to the enjoyment while reading.
Overall (8)
For being a short one-shot, this was overall very enjoyable.
However, with all these trope factors combined, a beautiful one-shot is created thats enjoyable to read.

Overall Review
Ending isn't everything, for some people. But let me say, the ending wasn't bad, but wasn't very good either. If Isayama had split it into two chapters with 139 being after the battle and 140 being the future. The story might have been smoothed out better. The ending also felt like Isayama wanted to get the story over with. With the anime becoming more and more popular, there is expectancy for the author to be pressured into having a masterpiece kind ending, and this was good.
The manga definitly had high points where I would have given it the 9 or 10, but the
...
ending is what folds the whole story together and finishes it. Therefore, 6/10 is where I grade it. It was not bad, it was just satisfactory with some good elements. The ending is fine, tolerable.

The manga has ended and so has the anime. With no more season.
First, I do not know why the anime decided to cram the 120+ chapters in 13 episodes without thinking about doing an another season or something.
I will review this anime, but as the anime alone but also comparing the manga also.
Story: 8
Horimiya explores the story of a Miyamura and Hori coincidently encountering together and falls in love. Miyamura being the unpopular one and Hori being popular. So kind of cliche but still unique on its own. The anime explores their relationship as the main, but also the side characters relationship
...
as well.
Art: 10
The art is phenomenal. Cloverworks does a great job on the art, it's always a hit or miss and this one being a hit. Their art is usually good and Horimiya was good. Lot's of flashing and subtle transition and background art is what makes the audience a lot more engaged. The art is similar to the manga and is done well. Obviously not 100% smilier but is close enough.
Sound: 10
Honestly, one of the most strongest factors in this anime. The opening or the ending songs are just fire.
They are addicting always listened in the beginning until the end to make sure to hear these music.
Character: 9
The characters themselves are not unique or anything. Typical male lead with no friends, and the female lead being the popular one. Very much cliche, but that doesn't mean that the characters are bad. However, there is definite character development, mostly towards Miyamura but some to Hori as well. Miyamura makes friends and accepts his old self, not that he was disregarding it Hori is able to show her "true" self to her friends a lot easier. The side characters; most shows have side characters just to support the male lead, but in this anime they are also very detailed and is specified like the male leads. They have their own personality + relationships which really hapless with the anime.
Enjoyment: 9 & Overall: 8
I wasn't satisfied with the manga and therefore I also wasn't for the anime. However I will say that this is still a great show with great writing. The anime left out some manga chapters, this is the result of craming the anime into 13 episodes. Therefore some exciting and wholesome filler type chapters hasn't been animated. Hope there will be a OVA or some type. The anime seemed to fast paced, for example from being beginning of the break and suddenly we're at the end of break. The pacing was the only problem and apart from that, the anime was good. However, overall the anime is a 8/10. As a manga reader, the anime adaptation was done fine. Highly recommended to watch this. Kind of cliche and predictable, but that's all romance shows. So interested in romance? Then this is for you.

Its 2021, It's been 11 years since this anime came out. This is still a masterpiece, this is still a masterpiece. I love Masaaki Yuasa's work so I was very excited to watch this and it went beyond my high expectation. It's a 10/10, just simply great, too good.
This is a show that will grab you from the very first episode with its unique animated style and the way it delivers the story. I was immediately interested from the first episode, I wanted more and more after I finished it. Honestly one of the best Comedy, Psychological, Romance show that will leave you with
...
a satisfying ending. The art is just great, I just don't see how someone might not like this show? The show has creative art that changes with every scene, matching mood with a mix of drawn and live action work. When the mood is silly, the art is silly; when weird, art is weird; when serious, art is serious. This is a masterpiece.
The soundtrack however is on an another level, never have I been so engaged with the music. When I finished the anime, I could not stop listening to it, even til today, I keep on coming back to it. The soundtrack is breathtaking, this is an "one of its kind" absolute masterpiece that is definitely a must watch.
The story is a little bit overdone, the mc regrets what he did before or doesn't realize that he does and learns to take chances. The story is a 9/10, while rest is just 10/10. How can I say anything about the ending, it is yet so satisfying. Not only the main character, but everyone learns to move on and learn a lesson. The character development of these stories is insane.
The show has unique characters, everyone with their own characteristics and traits. This makes them lovable, there is simply no villain in the show. Everyone with their own will and belief and do what they want to. But just focusses on the main character, Watashi.
You have to try it. One episode is all it takes to know if The Tatami Galaxy is for you. After that first episode, if it doesn’t intrigue you then don’t watch it. These kind of shows are for the unique type of taste.

Everyone has heard of One Piece, the manga that's going on forever and ever. After reading 1000 chapters of One Piece, I can proudly say that this manga is 10 outta 10.
Anytime I ask a person if they have read One Piece, there are two responses I get, every time I try to get someone new to read One Piece, "It's too long or "I don't like the art style"
These were both of the reasons it turned me off for me also.
As for the art style, I understand and it's true, to be honest it's completely different from almost anything else I've
...
seen. But you need to know that One Piece is much more than just art like many mangas are. The style is more "childish" and maybe it turned you off, even though that's the case One Piece has a lot more to offer and you'll end up loving it. One Piece has 1000 chapters published and if you have been following the manga for a long time now, you have to or will "get used to it" because it's not something that detracts from the rest of the series in any way. The art is bearable, it's not bad or anything. If you read the manga, you will learn and see how much of a roller coaster and fun experience you'll have.
As for the "it's too long" excuse, I don't see a problem with it. If you hate it fine, but read it, but if you like it great, 'cause that means you'll have that many great times ahead of you. If you just don't care enough to read because it's long, don't. I've even heard people being like "I don't know if I'll be alive when it ends..?" or something like this. To be honest, I don't wanna see the manga end. I do wanna see Luffy become a pirate king, I mean let's face it, he IS going to become one because of how long the manga has been going. If you just have no patience at all, you'll not gonna enjoy it, it's this simple.
One Piece is actually one of the best manga I've ever seen, it terms of adventures and fun experience. This is the plot: Monkey D. Luffy has just set out on a journey to find the legendary treasure called one piece and become Pirate King, and is looking for a nakama (crew) to sail with him. I will tell you that you will fall 100% in love with each and every crew member as Luffy sails the seas. There is a lot of character development and you'll never get bored of them. Each arc of the story has it's own appeals (maybe except for 1 or 2) and excites the reader all the time. Not one character is left out or feels like they're there for no reason, they all have their own purpose and adds to the storyline. The plot itself, as I said is fairly straightforward and simple and really developed. The battles and fights are well-paced and brilliant.
To sum is up, One Piece is perfect, it is the best, no other words to explain it. And perhaps I'm just biased, because I love ONE PIECE.
So why should you read One Piece?

*There will be spoilers*
Kaguya-sama is such a great written anime. I am also reading the manga and I was so happy when it announced that it would come out as an anime. I'm a fan of rom-coms and this anime was one of the best I have ever watched.
Story: 9
The story is very simple, Kaguya and Miyuki both like each other, but whoever confesses first loses. They both have pride and don't want to confess first. In this season, we see more about their feelings and how they start to develop even more feelings. This season shows how closer they've gotten.
Art: 9
A-1 Pictures'
...
animation is pretty flawless and runs smooth. The studio does a good job adapting Aka Akasaka’s manga and it was great overall and I loved it. The art wasn't anything special but rather very appealing and looked very good.
Sound: 9
There are so many new tracks for this season and I love all of them. I really do miss the old opening, that I like the new opening also. I prefer the first opening. For example, the chika dance; I loved it so much. But the new season came out with such great songs. The sound effects at the right timing, it was just so good, it made the scene or the moment a lot more engaging and better.
Character: 10
I love the characters so much. The reason the anime is this great, is mostly thanks to the unique characters. Every single characters has its own unique characteristic that helps identify who is who. You can't even get mixed up or mess up the names, it's not possible. Since I read the manga, I couldn't wait for Mika to join the anime. It lead up my expectation and great with no disappointment. Nothing can make the characters better, it' already at its fullest. All the characters are important so if you remove one character from the series and the anime won't be the same. Removing the character would be bad, while adding a new character just improves the anime more.
Enjoyment and overall: 10
Nothing can make the anime better, maybe more episodes but last season also had 12 so it does make sense to end at 12. I just love romance and comedy, this is just a perfect series to just relax and enjoy. I usually watch the shōnen series like One piece and Naruto and rarely like rom-coms. But this show is just fantastic, nothing can make it better, NOTHING. This is the anime that got me through quarantine, I was bored af but this anime is what made me wake up and do stuff. If there is another season, I cannot wait to see them be a couple (in the manga they already are).
Overall, if you’re into rom-coms, this is a good series to check out. This is one of the few 10/10 anime I have given and I have no regrets. Just a great anime with superb story, art, sound and characters that all attributed to make one perfect series. I give this 10/10.

Ok, the manga has finally finished. yeah! No it's not.
*THERE WILL BE SPOILERS*
All of this is my opinion so....yeah.
The ending was straight up disappointing. Natsuo asks Hina to marry him? Like where is the logic. Maybe he developed stronger feelings for her when she was in a coma, but still.
The manga was just a rollercoaster, ups and downs. Rui fans vs Hina fans, I personally was a Rui fan but that doesn't effect my grading.
Rui and Natsuo had a child, so it looked like it was over for the Hina fans? Not its no, the twist in the end.....its not a
...
good twist. Unnecessary twist to throw back the readers.
The author: Kei Sasuga could have ended the manga with Rui and Natsuo getting married, but no that didn't happen. The time skip wasn't bad, but it wasn't also necessary. I don't know if it is true, but I heard that Kei Sasuga was being pressured by her publisher to finish the manga. Even if this is true, there were much more better places where the manga could have ended.
The Story: 4
Typical "incest" story with brother and sister love, even this one was even more spicy than the usual brother-sister relationship, but it wasn't anything new.
Art: 6
The Art is the best thing from the manga. The style wasn't bad but good either so its a 6. I have watched the anime and it was fine but not as good.
Character: 3
Can't Natsuo just decide who the hell he wants to marry? Rui+Hina, both of them loves Natsuo. If I just recap the story, Natsuo likes his teacher (Hina), but knows its impossible so he have sex with the teachers younger sister. The characters wasn't creativity or anything new......it was just poor.
Enjoyment: 3
You can't enjoy the story, as soon as you think Natsuo settled on one girl, 6 chapters later....nope. He switches to another girl or he loves another girl. This manga is just twists of twists. I just can't keep on track of the manga, it looked like he was going to marry Rui, but he marries Hina? Like why? I just can't enjoy the manga....
Overall: 2
It's dreadful. There were multiples places or chances where the manga could have been stopped and the fanbase would have been happy, but no. The manga split two sides: Hina vs Rui. Out of twists and turns Natsuo marries Hina even he has a child with Rui. ? ? ? I just expected a better ending I guess. Overall, this manga wasn't worth reading along for all these years. I know that the ending isn't everything, but if you sticked to this manga all these years.....god bless you.

I get that OVAs are supposed to be side story and doesn't have to relate to the main story.
There was no actual progress or anything and it pretty boring. They had 3 episodes and all of them were not very exciting.
I feel like the OVAs could have been much more exciting and adventurous.
From the start of the anime we see typical cliché of the main character accidentally being a pervert to girls, when haven't this ever happened. This happened in the OVA also. It gets tired if the main character is misunderstood every episode.
I rated the OVA 4 because it wasn't horrible but
...
also wasn't good, but not too good to be a 5. Just enough to get a 4, decent. Overall the OVA was boring.
