Basically Tonari no Kyuuketsuki-san has the Kill Me Baby template: Akari is to Yasuna (both are annoying airheads), as Sophie Twilight is to Sonya (both are the receiving end of the annoyance of the moe/airheads).

WHY is that there was no one who recommended this? Ikoma is very much containing the principles of Shirou Emiya: wanting to be a hero, cheesy and cliche or not, but the similarity is very much as that.

Character-wise, Hanako (Asobi Asobase) pretty much has the same aura or genki-level as Tenma (School Rumble) has. Both pretty much has the comedy in them. (and with hair fall-down, Hanako kinda looks like her, too)

Both Okabe Rintarou, and Rikka Takanashi have CHUUNIBYOU, or 8th Grade Syndrome. They both like to come up with irrational, over-the-top stuffs, fancy themselves with delusions, calling names and aliases, and coming up with terms like "Reading Steiner" for Okabe (about his eyes retaining the past memories), and "Tyrant's Eye" for Rikka (about her Chuunibyou powers). So, if you're a fan of chuunibyous, you can watch these anime. ;)

Minami Kamakura Koukou Joshi Jitensha-bu
|
Minami Kamakura has the same formula as K-On, in terms of moe-girls in CGDCT daily-living, and doing club stuffs; juz that K-On is on light music and its theme as well, whilst this anime has cycling. The charm is that, both shows utilises real-life brands: K-On! has Fender, Gibson, Yamaha, and Korg showcased on the show; while Minami Kamakura has like, Cannondale featured, for example. Regrettably though, Minami Kamakura was made by JC Staff, who didn't seem to know what they were doing. Thus, what you might have expected on this anime about cycling, wasn't all focused as much as it could have (like, what hybrids, mountain bikes, or road bikes are; you know, cycling elements since K-On did manage to impart some music instrument stuffs like Yui's Les Paul; or Azusa's Mustang).

Both shows entertain you by being so elaborate, so intricate, so detailed on their food categories. Dagashi Kashi talks a lot about these various snacks, and Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san talks as much about the different types of ramen. As added bonus, both main characters (Hotaru for Dagashi Kashi; Koizumi for Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san) are voiced by Azunyan---Ayana Taketatsu.

Yuru Camp△

Yuru Camp is basically K-On!, nine years later. Yes, you won't be seeing Gibson, and Fender here, but you'll still be seeing moe things, and get the CGDCT-feel you're always looking for. Right off the bat, Nadeshiko is pretty much Yui in long, pink hair: klutzy, ditzy, airheadynamic moe. Then you'll still get four additional main CGDCT-shoujos, and all of them goes on about their everyday slice-of-moe-life. And oh, Aki Toyosaki is also here of, as well. So if you want to turn your heart as fluffy as marshmallow this 2018, look no further.

Kidou Senshi Gundam: Tekketsu no Orphans
|
Analogy-wise, Baka to Test is like the comedy-version of Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans. Mikazuki and Orga are pretty much like Akihisa and Yuuji. Mikazuki fights for Orga, as Orga does the strategy as the leader of Tekkadan. Thus reflects pretty much the same way as how Akihisa follows Yuuji, who also claimed and does the strategy for class-F. Then we have Kudelia, who is the action-moe counterpart of Himeji; and Atra, who fits well as Minami's counterpart. Both Kudelia and Atra likes/loves Mikazuki, in the same suki-manner as Himeji and Minami does to Akihisa.

You'll also find much Kana Hanazawa in RoKyuBu (Tomoka), and some in BabyPrincess (Mizuki), plus very Kanae Itou goodness, and pretty much Yuka Iguchi awesomeness.

I can't believe no one thought of recommending Lucky Star with Hinako Note; Kuu-chan's (Kuina Natsukawa) resemblance to Konata Izumi is astounding! It's basically Konata Izumi 10 years later (Lucky Star was released 2007) who don't do video games, and is evolving to moeshit-kinda anime character. :) Although Hinako Note is mighty generic than the one-of-the pioneering-awesomeness that is Lucky Star, but you can still put this as your cup of tea in a moe-Sunday afternoon!

Long Riders has the same feel as K-On!, juz with bicycles instead of a band. Characterization almost mirrors well: both have long-haired shoujos, tsun-ish shoujos, demure-ish shoujos, genki-ish shoujos, yep. Best of all, both have main leads who are ditsy and clueless, brimming with passion on what they get fond of, both even have reliable imoutos. Both also have Sumire Uesaka (Dekomori's seiyuu in Chuunibyou; Cole-chan on Kono Bijutsubu) even. For those hungry for more normal-X-otaku kind of romcom, look no further.

Kidou Senshi Gundam: Tekketsu no Orphans
|
As both shows have quite the similar elements of space-ships, missions and/or requests from clients, and colonies to planets involved to be the stage of the plot, it works in the premise that Mouretsu Pirates is a seeming much milder, more innocent shoujo-version than the rather ruthless, brutal shounen-genre that is the Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans. Also, both shows have Hisako Kanemoto and Yoko Hikasa as supporting seiyuu-casts on it.

Mouretsu Space Pirates and Rinne no Lagrange share the same frequency and wavelength, you want space-themed, strong girl-protagonist-adventures filled with cutesy, a pinch of slice-of-life elements? These two shows, with matching number of episodes, won't disappoint you. The universe they are both in must have existed in utopia (or a faraway future) where the destructive sins of humanity are long-forgotten or [almost] nonexistent, thus providing middle-range action and twists that won't haunt further on "cause and effects". And oh, both of these anime have Ai Kayano in them [as Kayanon's bday is today, Sept. 13].

For aesthetic and abstract reasons, Date-A Live holds a ton of similarities to Infinite Stratos, it's pretty much what you'll think of each other when any of these titles are brought up. Kirei shoujos, sci-fi, a shonen who becomes the mediator where each of the girls falls to him for reasons that he's the main character, blushing this fanservice that, and ultimately these characters are memorable. These two shows are nowhere near my cup of tea, but I acknowledge them both because despite all the silliness, there's plot and character entwined. Plastic Memories and Psycho Pass may be miles off from each other's plot and storyline, but the theme can't be no more farther than how resounding it presented. With all our real scientific advancements, achievements, and the human desire to favor Stephen Hawking's "scientific viewpoints", these two anime may just give us people living in the present a glimpse of this [grim and dim] future.

But whatever. If your pick is a notion of sticking to the main character's point-of-view magical shoujo-ness with bright lights and effects with antagonists that seem to have personal vendettas, these two anime are for you.
