Both shows have a similar structure and general tone. The stories are told from the perspective of a "straight-man" main character, who reluctantly gets himself involved in the shenanigans of a curiosity-stricken female lead. The supporting characters also show a number of similarities between shows, and both also offer the interesting narrative quirk of adding the main characters thoughts to spice up the dialogue. Though Haruhi is more upbeat than Hyouka, both make for a wonderfully interesting experience.

Both anime have similar themes of the power of human spirit, the impact of death, and of doing the impossible. The main characters in each series have to fight through an unfamiliar world and must cope with the loss of those around them, learning and growing from it. They muster up all of their strength and courage to break the rules of the world and fight for what they believe in. Each offers its own unique take on a similar, intense experience.

...then you might like Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! add

Both shows spend most of their time familiarizing you with the characters and getting you attached, then end with an absolutely beautiful moment of fulfillment. If you like that sort of payoff, then either of these shows would be just right for you.
