Several similarities in the plot and setting: 1. seme and uke work together, with the seme being the superior 2. uke is gay, seme is initially straight (or used to be) 3. uke is traumatized by being rejected by a former lover over a woman and vows never to get involved with a hetero/bi ever again 4. seme tries to win the uke, who in turns tries to escape 5. seme has a calm, matter of fact way of accepting his sudden love for a person of the same sex 6. changing pov

In "A Sex Therapist" Kain helps to resove people's love problems through psychology and sex. In " Koi no Tsubo" Dr. Meishuu is an acupuncture doctor who sees sexuality as a cure for many things. Both mangas are made of short stories showing their respective "healer" treating the body/mind of different clients. Both mangas have rather explicit art. Both doctors are reversible - can be seme or uke.

Both Mangasshow the situation of two boys liking the same guy and providing each other with sexual replacement in this situation. The difference is that in Renai KN one of the guys at first only pretends to like the same boy and his real object of desire was always the assumed rival. Another difference is that "Friends LaL" is a lot more explicit and steamy with detailed love scenes, while Renai has sex but only in an average yaoi dosis.

Hot Blooded Woman

Both series are about High School gangs and both have a heroine who is very adept with her fists and has fighting skills to rival the men. Both have some violence and a love story between fighters. Hot blooded Woman is a lot longer series than Kill me Kiss me, therefore it is easier to have it show more intensity in the drama, character development and in the humour section as would be expected from a 24-volume-series vs. a 5-volume-series. NB: The first volume of "Kill me Kiss me" is about a different couple - the fighting heroine is the heroine of the last four volumes.

K2♥: Kill Me Kiss Me

Both Mangas have heroines that are good at fighting and stand up for weaker people. Both heroines get in a fight with the hero. Both fall in love with a guy who is a strong fighter / gang leader. Junai Tokkou Taichou is more humorous. Lots of fighting in both mangas, Kill me kiss me maybe a bit bloodier. NB: The first volume of Kill me kiss me has a different main couple than the last four volumes of the series.
