Oh boy, the people have spoken. This series is edgy and bad right? Well no. This series is truly a hidden gem; overshadowed by another boxing manga: Hajime no Ippo. While I do admit the series have some similarities; they're really different series. While Ippo focuses more on the heroic/shounen-ish side of boxing, Rikudo focuses on the more realistic and brutal side to boxing.
Story 9/10
The story is great. It showcases a backstory and daily hardships of a boxing champion and the consequences that each fight has on the mental and physical state of a boxer. The over the top violence never felt unjustified or "edgy".

I did not enjoy "No Longer Human". Why am I giving it a 10? I didn't find a flaw for it. It was perfect. The reason as to why I disliked it is because I have a pretty faint heart. This series is amazing. But I didn't enjoy it at all. I recommend it, but not for the faint of heart.
The story had a lot of depth to it, every single aspect of it was great. The story of a sociopath is always one that has fascinated me; this manga nailed it. The art is amazing as well, the shading and the linework is really well ... Nov 9, 2016

Boy, this show…
What made me want to watch this anime was the fact that it was made by the same company that made Attack on Titan, a show that I greatly enjoyed, Wit Studio. I knew it was going to be similar, but I didn’t know it was actually Attack on Titan but with Zambies, oooooo spooky... The story was the exact same as Attack on Titan… Replace the survey corps’ horses with a train, the different walls with train station and the Titans into zombies and there you go, you have Kabaneri of the iron fortress. The art and the music was pretty ... Apr 22, 2016
This anime was, at first, not really tempting for me because of the art. But I was still pretty interested. This show was my first horror anime. And honestly, this is my favorite anime.
Story: The story is what took the cake for me. The way it was delivered was just amazing and frankly the way they explained everything was very logical. There weren't many plot holes and the ideas were very good. Art: At first, the art is pretty annoying. Then you get used to it. That's pretty much all I have to say about the art. Sound/Music: The voice actors were really in character and the ... Feb 8, 2016
Noragami is one of those animes that start off average but ends with you wanting MORE.
Story: Noragami is about a god named Yato who is collecting money to build a shrine by himself. He then gets saved from getting hit by a bus by a girl named Hyori. Hyori dies but not really. Her body sometimes "dies" and only leaves the soul behind. Then they meet a boy named Yukine who is also dead. So the story is really interesting but it had some plot holes. Art: The art is pretty average but the style that shifted from really dark moments to funny ones was the ... |
