Both have a sense of action but both primarily focus in the changing ofthe individual and incredibly corny but cute romances. Both are some if my favorite recent anime.

Both DRRR! and Baccano has many different story lines involving many different characters, but by the end of the anime these seemingly unrelated individuals somehow were all impacting each oter in ways they did not now. I personally love both of these anime simply for the face-palm "IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW" moment in the end and if you are the type of viewer that enjoys obscure but original anime, then you should watch both of these.

First of all, the art is extremely similar; however, I know people don't watch anime purely because of art. Not only are both anime extremely original, but both are extremely entertaining, with slice-of-life moments that can be both hilarious and dramatic. Overall, both Bakuman and Uchuu both tell the tale of normal people who decide to pursue their goals rather than wait for opportunity to come to them.

Nowadays, it's really tough to find a romance anime that isn't some harem piece of crap however, both Toaradora and Sakurasou somehow manage to make the stereotypical School Life anime genre and make it into something interesting. Basically, if you want to watch a School Life, lighthearted and entertaining anime then you should check out these two series.

Both anime, despite a large time difference in their creations, focus on the fun and seriousness of relatively unknown, but competitive, Japanese games (for lack of a better term). Overall, both anime are truly enjoyable and I highly recommend them to any person who is sick of the usual standard-battle anime and want to find an interesting and non-violent, but still entertaining anime.
