Dandadan.....I haven't felt so disappointed on a hyped up anime like this one in a while. No I'm not the "OH, look at
me, I hate a popular anime most people like! I stand out so much!! I'm such an intellectual!" Because Frieren hooked me with just 1 episode (The highest rated anime) and Spy x Family did too (Think whatever you want about it but, if you were in the anime community back then, you know how the Anya "Heh" picture used to be spammed before the anime came out... it was highly regarded back then the manga I mean) Enough of that, so why

didn't I enjoy this anime? The plot really doesn't interest me nor any of the characters. It’s just “Wacky/crazy stuff” then “BALLS?!” (Get used to that joke because apparently it won’t end for a very long time) then “Dramatic moment…..sometimes” and repeat. For me the most important thing that any show needs to have is a strong first impression and.... apparently it gave off a heck of an impression to most of the internet audience which, I don't understand. The episode is followed by fan service and the line of someone wanting the MC's wiener............ Hehhahaha funny right? XD then it's proceeded by some alien things wanting to "DO IT' with the other MC and I'm just like; how in the world did people took a step back and say "PEAK". Not only that but personally I'm not a fan of the face expressions.... They are really annoying to look at and I'm a big fan of whenever a character goes off model so yeah. Also why does the grandma...I think her name is Seiko? Why is she anything but a grandma? People say "I'm sure she's going to have a tear jerking reason later on for why she looks so young! DX" and yeah she probably will but that doesn't make her character design any better. There was however a character that I did see potential on and that character isss….Aira babbyyy!………Until she’s reduced to a character clingy to Okarun which, what?! Didn’t you saw him as nothing but a loser an episode ago? I get her secretly liking him or something I quess, but being really clingy? Also yes Episode 7 is great but it also really doesn’t fit in with the anime because of it. I find it funny how most people who hasn’t seen the show could see a fanservice clip or a scene about balls from this show and they’ll be like “Yeah that’s Dandadan alright”, yet in most Ep7 clips they’re like “Woahh what anime is this?” and that’s because yes, it does stand out pretty differently from the rest of the show, it’s actually good. Anyways I won’t be continuing this anime, it’s not horrible and I could see why some people like it but I’ve come to realize that…..yeah this isn’t for me.

Blue Lock: Episode Nagi is…………………………..eh. Do you love Nagi? Have you forgotten some details from season 1? Do you wish to see more standard animation from Blue Lock compared to the atrocious animation in season 2? If you said yes to all 3 you’ll somewhat enjoy this movie….somewhat. I have no idea why but I really didn’t felt Reo and Nagi clicking any more than their couple of scenes in Season 1…which is a bad thing because this is their movie. I only felt a sweet moment between the two kinda ti’ll the last of the movie. Reo I’d say doesn’t get any more depth

into his character than we knew from season 1, and the new info we learned about Nagi that was worth remembering is that he has a pet cactus. (I found that sweet XD) There’s another scene with Nagi that is also nice but that’s it.. Also Kira! We see him again….. I never knew something could have a faster pace than Chainsaw Man either but this movie did it. We go from point A to Z in a flash. Oh wait i forgot there’s actually a character that did get more noteworthy info but it just lasted minutes……which was Zansetsu? (I think that’s his name) It’s a shame that we never got to meet anyone else from their team….their just there. It’s also kinda lazy how they reuse some scenes from season 1….. There’s no new info that makes you go wow! This could had been an special rather than a movie and…. I can’t imagine this performed well in theaters………overall.
TLDR: Just a recap of season 1, 2+ additional decent looking blue lock animation and Nagi has a pet cactus.

Shield rHero Season 2 is……………..bad. Now where do I begin, let’s get the positives out of the way since there’s so little. Umm the main characters are harmless…. Not bad, not good. They don’t stand out as much as in season 1. The OP is pretty good in my opinion… I don’t remember much about the ED though……… The only one thing that i could say was great when speaking of the anime itself (No OSTs or OP’s) was……KIZUNA! comes to her, definitely the highlight and most memorable character in this season! Now onto the UGLY. (Dramatic Music plays) Yeah I’m not so sure why Crunchyroll or any anime site promoted this season so much when it was about to come out like, where they actively trying to scare people off or what? XD I remember seeing people say that regardless of whether they were faithful to the turtle arc or not that it was going to be a bust no matter what and that’s why they probably went through it as quickly as possible except for some reason even though they did….it was still such a pain to go through. I don’t remember a single thing that had happened until they went inside the turtle. Also the three heroes, if you thought they were useless before and you thought it would be impossible to make them any more useless, then this season proved you wrong! Instead we got 2 new characters in the turtle arc Pink hair girl and turtle girl? Yeah I don’t remember a single thing about them except that I think the pink hair girl leaded an army? and that the Turtle girl helped Naofumi and the gang a lot! In ways that I already forgot. The animation is a step down from Season 1, and that’s not mentioning the CG turtle. I don’t know why isekai’s have a habit of having horrible CG and I love how some anime these days are playing that off as “Hahaahaha this anime so silly! We have atrocious CG, that’s the punchline!” No. If the pacing was questionable in the 1st season then prepare the pacing in this season… it’s horrible. It’s very fast yet, slow at the same time? How the heck?
TL;DR: KIZUNA!!! Everything else is mediocre to downright horrible.

Shield Hero……….is a great isekai and a decent anime. Personally in my opinion there’s really not much good isekais, they either have an OP protagonist or they all rely on the same type of comedy. I remember back in the day I used to go crazy for Naofumi, I thought he was a pretty great character and…….. I still sorta stand by that, I think he’s just a great character now. Nothing changed but the glazing was way too much back then lol. I remember getting triggered when people would call him an edgelord and I was like “He literally helps people throughout the anime!

And he cares for raphtalia quickly” and…. Yeah he isn’t one but I don’t blame people who think he is if they only watched the 2 first episodes but if they watched the whole anime and they think he is then enlighten me on how he’s an edgelord. I really don’t think there’s a specific plot in this anime. Besides the whole Shield devil stuff in the beginning and the waves I really don’t think there’s much going on. The characters as i mentioned Naofumi is great, Raphtalia and Filo aren’t too bad and yeah…….. that’s it:\ I really think that them not focusing on the other three heroes is a big plot problem, I think that the whole “They lived on different versions of Earth” was a pretty interesting concept that they did nothing with and were always just told on what adventures they go on but never shown, I think if we were shown it would have made things much more interesting. Instead they’re just muppets that are there so Naofumi could lecture on how “They bad, me good” which could be sorta meh, I wish they weren’t portrayed as complete idiots/useless. The only one that’s completely fine like that is Motoyasu, he’s pretty charming to root against lol. I think the adventure is fine i just don’t like that at times instead of taking it’s time to show it to us, it just cuts off to many shots showing the progress instead and bamn in under a minute we went from a to c. (Filo hatching and instantly turning big is an example) Both OP’s are great and while I don’t remember the 1st Ed Mann the 2nd one is just perfect. The soundtrack in this anime is also huge plus that I really liked. Animation is nothing to “Really” talk about but it’s still good. Overall not bad.
TL;DR: Great OP/ED, Okay Characters, Side characters could had been better, Soundtrack is great, Animation is good enough, Pacing could be scrambled, Plot is okay-ish.

Tower of God Season 2 is…………….ok. They only took out one of the major hooks the first season had which was the brilliant art style….. and as of now, the animation isn’t great. Not horrible but, you’d expect that the most popular Webtoon would receive more love and budget to it but, it most likely went to Solo Leveling since from what I’ve heard from people it’s pretty solid in the animation department. of the dialogue scenes from the webcomic, which I’ve never read but from what I’ve heard, it gots a lot of those so i think they could had earned a lot of time with that XD. Enough of that, I remember at first i was upset that stray kids weren’t returning to do the OP and ED again (THEY”RE BACK IN COUR 2 BABY XD) and I wasn’t a big fan of NiziU at first but after some time i grew fond of the OP and ED, they’re good in my opinion especially the ED. The visuals for the OP though……. It’s ok, definitely a step down of the 1st season visual OP. The opposite goes for the ED visual though…. It’s simple but i adore how they present the visuals like a webcomic with slight animations, 90% of the panels are covered on the 1st episode but as the season goes another one gets unveiled and i just love that. A simple thing but i adore it, i think they should had incorporated how they animate some of the panels in the ED to the actual anime though… it would definitely bring some uniqueness to it similar to how season 1 was. The story……..meh. The characters are harmless, they’re not dislikable or anything but they just don’t have the same charm that season 1 characters had. Unfortunate but it really didn’t began to entertain me until the last 2 episodes, which gives me slight hope for cour 2 but, i doubt it. Tower of God season 1 is…………………not bad at all, it’s quite great actually. Now hear me out, I have no clue of how the Webtoon goes and what details it missed (Which I know it’s missing some for sure) but as an anime watcher (a.ka me) it’s pretty great. The animation is pretty to look at and the art style is phenomenal. Unlike other webtoon’s that get adapted, the artstyle this studio gave to the Webtoon really makes you feel like your watching a webcomic come to life and that’s an experience I’ve never felt with the other adaptations. went into the artstyle and backgrounds that they’re such a joy to look at. Unfortunately season 2 took away this, which i consider was a huge appeal…. They made it look like any other anime :( The characters are such a joy too watch. Instead of the regular trio consisting of “The Nice/ Energetic MC” “The Serious Dude” and “The Girl” . We got “Calm/respectful MC” “Smart Dude” and “Hyper energetic Dinosaur XD”. Way more interesting in my opinion and the rest of the cast are just as interesting……I like Endorssi, Anaak, Shibusu and Rachel…….yup I stand by what I said XD. None of them give off the “Ughhh it’s this character again…” The Plot is simple as of now, just climb the top of the tower through trial and tribulations and you’ll get anything granted basically. Now the ost….I really liked it, for some reason I find it unique and fitting for this series. The Op and Ed, how can I not mention those aspects! For me they’re both 10/10 and the visual for the OP is one of the very few that I give the title of “masterclass”……. “It’s literally just Baam walking for 95% of it though?” You may say and…. Exactly. You don’t need all the flashy visuals, fast moving animations, or show a slideshow of the Side characters that won’t matter. XD Just seeing Bam marching forward into nothingness, seeing him fall and get up says far more than an opening with explosions and a whole cast of characters doing wacky stuff/fighting all over the world. (It also in a way spoils the anime too which is amazing how it can to that with such simple illustration. I could go on about how the OP is masterclass but I’ll just leave it at 10%. The lyrics on both OP and ED play 50% into what makes them special, I’m saying this because the ED is fin- “HOW IN THE WORLD IS THE ED REMOTELY FINE! ITS FREAKING RACHEL” Yeah, but it’s just so calm too look at…… not as impressive as the OP but, it’s still a great example of how simple is good. So yeah… in a nutshell. Unique artstyle, good animation, great characters, straightforward plot, and amazing OP/ED.

Blue Lock is an…………good anime, not bad. I’d argue that if there’s something that heavily bring it down it would have to be the animation….everything else is pretty solid. Characters, plot, pacing it isn’t bad. As i saw someone put it like in a comment section elsewhere…. This show isn’t about soccer, it’s about growing as a person while dealing with other’s being better than you and going through failures. like the scenes when he acts all hysterical and dramatic XD. The rest are fine. I would have said that a problem i have with this show is that unlike Haikyuu, we really don’t get to see the opposing team shine as much but, that’s the whole point of this show 90% of the players in the opposing team get locket out (eliminated) so why flesh out characters that were never going to see again to begin with? So I’ll let that slide. They could had fleshed out Nagi’s Team though since he has his own short spinoff but they didn’t… could had at least focused on another player in his team that wasn’t Nagi, Reno, and Zansetsu? (I forgot his name) but they didn’t. I really like all the Ed’s and OP’s. Both openings are both really intense and upbeat and both the endings are just relaxing and cool to vibe too. Now the soccer games themselves! They are filled with such intensity and fluid animations, pretty exhilarating to watch………………is what i would have loved to say about them, unfortunately they’re really not… and that’s the show’s weakest part and where I’d say it REALLY needed to shine. The animation only stood out on the 1st episode…. It did not keep up all the way. Outside that episode there’s only like 3-4 shots afterwards that look good….that’s it. it’s a darn shame because i haven’t even mentioned the soundtrack yet. IF you were to ignore the plot and would had seen one of their games (Let’s imagine it had good animation) with that soundtrack in the background…. I could confidently had said that it has the best sport scenes that any anime could have had to offer…..unfortunately once again it doesn’t. (The animation, not the soundtrack) The soundtrack in my opinion is phenomenal and goes with the Blue Lock setting like peanut butter and jelly. It’s just filled with so much energy and intensity. You couldn’t have chosen or made a better soundtrack for Blue Lock than the one it has……if only the an- i’ll stop lol. I’m making it out to seem like it has horrendous animation and it doesn’t its just okay-ish but okay-ish isn’t what was needed for this type of anime. In a nutshell Okay animation, decent plot/characters, and phenomenal soundtrack. XP

Spy x Family…..is great. It’s good at what it does. It isn’t something really complex, and I’d say it utilizes its concept perfectly. Some people say that there’s too many SoL episodes, or that they’re boring; while I agree that some do feel like filler or feel slow.. I don’t think it harms the show’s structure either. The serious episodes hit just as much as the non serious. The characters? Anya is great, Loid is a good too but people like to pick on Yor the most out of the three saying “She’s just the idiot character trope or what not” but she’s not that

at all. Sure she’s not the brightest but it’s clearly shown that, she’s like that because she really didn’t had a childhood so…..what happened in that childhood? This is one of the biggest problems it has.. While we know Loid intentions and such, we really don’t know the other characters stuff as much and not even Loid, we just know that he wants a world where kids don’t cry? (I think that was the line? XD) but we really don’t know much either. Wow as I’m writing this, this made me realize how we really don’t know these characters as much as we think we do but, it’s really not a problem because as I’ve mentioned, it really doesn’t take itself as too serious. It’s mostly a wholesome anime and I appreciate it for that, it doesn’t need to be anything more than that. Plot is simple, characters are simple (Except Yuri, he’s stinking up the cast DX) and the animation isn’t bad either. Creative concept doesn’t always have to be bursting with ideas. Sometimes simple is key.

You know, I’ve never so many hype around an anime to come out as much as Chainsaw Man… you saw it in ads, people will non stop talk about how many weeks left till it came out. most before this came out was “Ohohoho people are going to lose it in this scene!….” Quess which scene are they talking about…. Denji turning into Chainsaw man? Katana Man first appearance? Denji vs Katana Man? No, none of them. I promise when I say that the scene I saw people hype up the most was……………..Himeno barfing on Denji’s Mouth lol. I’m saying this because it perfectly encapsulates what I think this anime was. Character design? Superb! How if they only wear suits? You may ask and………. I have no clue, I’m an artist and I just love drawing the chainsaw man girls (My pfp is a drawing of Asa I did XD) … I don’t know what it is but they’re just so unique despite all of them having the same attire basically. Now, their personalities? I wasn’t really fond of none to be honest. They’re just okay, I like Kobeni lol, I don’t like how people consider her as obnoxious or they depict her as really anxious when she’s not that at all, she just reacts to the weird stuff like any of us will react to it XD. I laughed out loud when (I forgot the snake girls name) the snake girl committed suicide right in front of her and poor Kobeni just screamed in horror afterwards XD. Some people find Denji annoying but I don’t, it’s nice to not have the kind soul MC for once…..but it gets kinda irking whenever he brings up his perverted self in moments that don’t fit it. The rest of the characters are just there, nothing to say about them. Animation? Amazing. Plot? The pacing is really off and I don’t think it really gave us a chance to connect with any of the characters…we just go from plot A to out of a sudden Plot D within minutes, like what? Though why did I say the barf scene encapsulates this anime for me? Well because overall: Everything happened quickly and things are shocking for the sake of being shocking…and the characters stand out alright…but some not for the best reasons.. XD. I wouldn’t recommend it to a newbie or even an average watcher.. not because it’s bad but, it’s not an must watch one either.

The girls designs look great!……..That’s what the 1 is for. Could had done something with the base story idea but nothings comes out from it. As much as personality is non existent for the girls, there’s just zero reason for any one of them to be with the MC… just disgusting. So what are we doing here then? I’m sure they ask themselves the same question. OP is great but that’s the artist so I quess another point then………. The art style isn’t too bad either it’s colorful…. Yeah that’s it. Everyone is so dislike able, I cannot fathom how anyone can enjoy this.

This world is so cruel 3+ seasons for this and no Watamote season 2……….HOW? Tomoko has more personality in her hand than all of the characters in here combined.
