- Both MC can travel back and forth from Earth and the isekai fantasy world - Both MC sell modern Earth consumer goods to isekai world for gold to exchange for Earth currency - Both have isekai denizens amazed by the Earth goods, attracting the attention of nobles and royalty - Both MC start getting entangled in economic politics, and political politics. - Both animes has firearm usage "Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World" follows these premises a lot more, is more character and comedy driven, and actually goes somewhere by the end of the season. Whereas "Sasaki and Peeps" threw in a lot of mismatching things which deviated everything from these premises quite often, thus never really delving too deep into things nor characters, and the season ended feeling like it never really went anywhere, and also on a cliffhanger.

Similarities - Both have characters leave/quit the Hero's Party/Duty - Both characters were forced out against their choice - Both is about their life after Heroing, and about doing what they wanted to do instead - Both is about the Hero's duty to the people they serve versus no longer wanting/able to do so - Both is about relationships with other characters - Both have periods of slice of life/light comedy, and more serious moments Differences - Banished by the Hero's party is mainly slice of life light romance with some serious stuff tacked on. I'm Quitting Heroing is mainly comedy and some serious themes woven together well, and helping/teaching other characters while forming strong relationships with them - Banished seems to be about defeating the Demon Lord or perhaps the god that bestows blessings forcing fate onto everybody. I'm Quitting is about joining the Demon Lord's army, and struggling to follow or break the "fate"/role one has - In Banished, storylines seem to fall apart towards the end like some things were made up as it goes. In I'm Quitting, episodes seem to be made up as it goes, but by the end it's clear everything was planned out, and well executed - In Banished, the one banished and the hero are two different characters. In I'm Quitting, it's one character.

Both animes have a similar battle royale feeling except Btooom uses bombs, and Dr.Stone uses science. Both have characters with different backgrounds and complicated relationships teaming up or trying to kill each other to survive. Both have MC's who thinks "we should all work together", and struggles to try to achieve this. Both have things don't always working out as expected or hoped. I would say Dr.Stone is the superior anime, and Btooom has the more atrocious characters and casual body count. Dr.Stone for a fun time and learn about science, and Btooom for a casual video game-like experience you don't have to think too much about.
