Cool little concept, lots of characters with distinct designs and looks, pretty badass looking main character and for the most part decent animation.
Unique take on the design of the "dragon", it's not what comes to mind when someone describes the typical appearance of a dragon. Still unsure if I like it or not, but it's different for sure.
It was a pretty fun watch, it's just that everything was sort of basic and there are so many animes that are similar (in the sense of the main character dying then coming back to life as something else.)
I'll likely watch season 2, but the story itself seems

Gonna keep it long but simple.
Great anime overall and there's just some things / nit-picks keeping it from being a 10. Kenya is way too mature compared to the rest of the group, I honestly think it would've worked a lot better if Kenya could also "revive" like Satoru, it would explain why Kenya seems to be much more grown up than the others. Painting Kayo's mom to be this cold hearted, insensitive, narcissistic and downright disgusting abuser only to have a scene where even Satoru's mom is hugging her feels way off.
