Oh boy, Lucky Star. It's an interesting show, to say the least. The best way to describe it would be... weebish, I suppose.

Unlike many SoL anime, there is almost zero conflict in the main story. It is literally just about a group of HS girls and their daily life, but not in an AzuDaioh or Nichijou fashion. It's closer to something like Noko-tan from 2024.

Alright, enough boring things. Lucky Star is honestly one hell of a watch. The humour is actually pretty good (very subjective tho), and the characters are fun and relatable. KyoAni did an amazing job with the art. Yeah, the style may ... not be everyone's fancy, but it is undeniably high quality. The OP is damn near peak, even though it's literally just them praising their uniforms.

Please watch the first 3 episodes before deciding to drop or continue, it takes a while to wind up.

The 3D animation is a bit janky at first for those not used to it, but it's actually quite good, and it kind of resembles Honkai: Star Rail.

As for the story, if you can get past the first 6 episodes of drama, it transforms into a marvelous story. Not that the drama is bad. In fact, it kinda *has to* be there for the story to develop and stuff.

The characters are... kind of rough. Especially the MC. She's very VERY narrow for the first half of the show, and that can be a turn off for a lot of people. The other characters are ... otherwise much more well-rounded.

Overall, not a bad anime. There's definitely worse out there, but there is also better, especially in the genre.
