Natsume Yuujinchou is a manga by Midorikawa Yuki who is known for being the author of the movie: Hotarubi no mori e (I recommend too). Natsume contains 6 adaptations in anime, totaling 74 episodes.
making a short synopsis, The Takashi (Protagonist), since he was young he was able to see Youkais / Ayakashis, who are basically "Monsters/Demons", and since this was too much burden for a child, he ended up having a difficult life and was half isolated of others.
At one point he inherits from his grandmother the so-called "Book of Friends." and then discovers that she actually shared the same ability to see youkais as
...
him.
I will not go into the details about the book and his grandmother, because it's more fun to figure out how everything works by watching.
Even the story spinning all the time around the youkais, natsume is also an analysis about humans. It focuses both on the bonds between humans themselves and the bonds between Youkais and Humans.
Every story you see is well thought out and crafted, and it always seeks to bring a deep message and thus more developmment for the show.
Natsume is that kind of sweet show that will always try its best to make you empathize with everything in it.
every bit of it brings a sad feeling. But that feeling is at once cozy you know?
And so he ends up holding you, Exploring your emotions to the fullest and making them toy all the time.
Speaking of the characters, Natsume is full of unique and iconic personalities, and this is not just about humans but true for youkais as well.
Takashi does not help the youkais because he has nothing better to do, he helps them because the bond he has with them is strong and very well explored throughout the anime. Enough even for him by himself at risk.
From a person who has been forced to move away from almost every human, takashi grows to trust humans once more, as he shares his experiences with those around him, conquering people who become totally dear to him.
The madara (Nyanko), for example, at first he only has one goal and demonstrates that he could do everything for him, but over time he clings to Takashi and despite his own contradictions, he seems to care more about his mate Takashi), than with the aim of it.
Another interesting part are the youkais, usually they do not get so much focus out of their respective unique episodes, but they always manage to leave their own mark, each one becomes quite memorable, their internal conflicts, their goals and personalities are all very well thought out and makes it even hard to believe that that character was only there for only 20 minutes.
about art and animation, Natsume is very simplistic mainly at the beginning, but this serves as a glove pro style anime, this gives you a much more complete immersion of the anime atmosphere, with beautiful designs, wonderful scenery and a beautiful color palette together with a fluid animation (and that improves with the passing of the seasons without losing the original essence).
Natsume has the best openings and endings I've ever heard, and I'm not just talking about the song itself but its lyrics, all instrumental composition, everything is done in detail to stay in a beautiful harmony with all elements of the anime, making you create an even greater affection throughout history.
Well is basically this, if you want to try, I assure you that it is worth mostly for those who like slice of life and sentimental things.

I ended up underestimating and a lot of this anime, I had watched 4 episodes and I gave up continuing, and then some time later I decided to take courage to go to the end, it was one of the best things I've done in my life.
From episode 6 onwards the anime was extremely entertaining, he began to explore the secondary characters, make creative episodes, develop the characters etc.
The anime at a certain point begins to express the characters better, shows their side better while working the relationships between them.
Zaizen who could not score a goal
Gotou who did not have his love matched
Aoyama
...
who wanted to relate to his friends but could not because of his phobia.
It is very well worked out their relationship as a team, aoyama who was shown how invincible managed to be overcome by someone, it can often seem like a simple robot but at certain times is shown that he has his own feelings. He does not like cheating, he helps his friends, he notices their efforts and encourages them, and with this he manages to unite the whole team creating an unparalleled fun!
talking about art, I liked it, it's quite average but since anime is more focused on comedy than soccer is understandable, the animation was above average but only at specific moments like the final 5 minutes of the matches when aoyama stay his " very hard mode "
sound, the anime itself does not have many osts but the ones they had were quite iconic, the opening and ending for example are sensational, it seems until the anime is really serious
the characters as I mentioned above are great, they are not totally exploited at maximum but in the moments that appeared in the episode they captivate you enough making you create an attachment for their personalities
Enjoyment is truly the best part of this anime, not massive to watch, always putting something to work on an episode, funny moments with iconic personalities that contributed to the comedy
Finally ending, aoyama is a very entertaining anime, do not watch waiting for a masterpiece, watch casually that I have sure it will have fun
taking all the previous points my final grade is 8/10
I especially recommend it for those who like comedy!

(this review contains spoilers) >(this is my second review) and I do not speak English so I'm sorry for any mistake

Well, I do not even know where to begin to talk about this anime, but I'll tell you soon that it sins at all points.
Starting with the story, despite being a NTR anime it sins up in this, it does not have PLOT any, if you want to see something with betrayal I recommend a thousand times you watch White Album 2.
...
The art is very generic, mainly in the designer of the protagonists / students, in the girls it's even cute but that's it.
the characters have no development at all, basically Hotaru plays with the heart of yuma during the whole anime and yuma spends the whole anime wondering if this is normal ???? wtf
the fujiwara who is the most exploited character in the manga basically started and ended up as a bastard
the only character that was worth it was takeda, it is quite sad to see the situation in which he stay, is without compassion, and even after he had finished dating he still continued to help yuma and to cherish her happiness.
the soundtrack is quite imperceptible and weak, the only thing that is really good is the opening that is wonderful.
about enjoyment .. iff this is what you are looking, give up. because in this anime you will not feel fun. at most you will feel anger
so concluding, the anime has several bad points and bad points explored, in addition to the final being totally clichéd / expected. I would not recommend to anyone, 4/10 for mercy

(This is my first review, I avoid making reviews because my English is not so good, so I can not express myself very well, so do not take me too seriously here.)
Well, talking about the MV, was wonderful, the animation is beautiful, along with the effects and scenes well flowed, plus a great song to stay perfect. I am very anxious to watch, the staff is in harmony and I trust with eyes closed in the direction,The characters seem to be quite charismatic Which is an essential thing for fun when watching a movie, can expect a great film!
