FIrst time I heard about clannad was in 2014, at the time I used to talk to some guy from Spain. I remember him breaking down after hearing 1 second of Dango Daikazoku, He claimed this is the saddest anime ever created, that It would turn Arnold in predator into a crying baby.

The show remained in the back of my mind for many years. Until recently I decided to give it a watch. 1 episode in and I was already disappointed...

Clannad is comedic. It tried to hard to make you sad, to the point that it's funny. I usually laugh at sad shows. I can't ... help it, they're just funny to me but clannad is honestly different for me.
The sad parts are funny and the funny parts made me want to kick a baby. They honestly pissed me off.
I also can't like the characters...
Okazaki: Unlikable, I want to punch him and I can't respect him.
Nagisa: Ok character but I still can't actually like her, she annoys me.
Tomoyo: One of the few characters I actually liked, I honestly enjoyed episode 24.
Kyou: I want to murder her pig.
Fuuko: Worse character in the show, she's not funny, annoying and I want to mike tyson punch her in the face.
Kotomi: It's been a day and I forgot her.
Youhei: I dislike this dude, I want to break his teeth in.
Ryou: Her crying scene made my laugh.
Akio: The only character I like and his wife was ok.

I didn't enjoy this show, I don't care if you liked it I'll shove you in the locker.

I'll give afterstory a try.
