I'm a 18 years old boy who was a anime hater until summer 2023.
The only anime I ever watched in my life until that time were pokémon, many of them and dinossaur King, partially.
Never really thought anime could be interesting, maybe because all I new about anime was that it was trash things like the mainstream animes (specially dragon ball), or super ecchi animes.
But at the end of December 2022, one new friend of mine, who loved anime introduced me to this world. First anime he recomended me was Classroom of the elite, back in december 2022. I kinda enjoyed it but not that much, midway through the first season another anime got my eyes: to your eternity, announced in the thousands of ads in crounchroll. But I never really got to watch it until summer 2024. Since my Christmas holidays ended right when I started watching anime. So only in the summer 2023 I got back to watching anime. I started many animes, like mushoku tensei, tengoku daimakyo and summertime render. But didn't even get to halfway of any of those animes, only the ecchi one to everyone's surprise, since I said I never watched anime because of that. But even with those sus things I enjoyed mushoku tensei, watched 1st season and everything of the second season that had already aired so far, in less than 3 days. But I stayed until January 2024 without ever touching the anime world again, until when I started watching Attack on Titan, which would in less than a month become the first ever anime I would watch completely (by this time mushoku tensei already had some episodes I hadn't watched yet).
After completing aot I started my insane watching anime phase. In less than 2 weeks I watched all of the first 2 seasons of Tokyo Ghoul and half the trashy third one; and the first 25 eps of Death note, which would later take me 2 weeks to finish during classes. And I also started watching Solo leveling this time, because that one friend that got me into Watching anime recommended me solo leveling. Also by this time I started watching demon slayer and vinland saga. That was February 2023 (I stayed until summer 2024 without watching those anime and then completed them very fast in a row). 6 months after finishing aot I finished Mushoku tensei. After a few time, I finished summertime render, solo leveling, to your eternity and demon slayer completely in under a week, and a little bit before that I finished tengoku daimakyo.
That was around summer 2024
By november 2024 I had already finished:
Neon Genesis Evangelion (both the movie and series - the ending was confusing... obviously); Mushishi Zoku Shou; Sousou no Frieren; Cyberpunk Edgerunners; Uzumaki; Chainsaw Man; Kaiju no 8, Made in Abyss and two ovas from mushishi.
By April 2025 I had already watched Unwanted Undead Adventurer; the trashy second season of made in Abyss; FMAB; Code Geass; Kujira no Kora; the worst anime of all-> Re:Zero; Lain; Orb; Dragon Raja; Pluto and Maou 2099.

I evaluate animes mainly from 6 to 9. Some rare exceptions get a 10 (Mushishi Zoku Shou, Sousou no Frieren and Made in Abyss [which is my favorite anime so far]).
And very few get 5 or less
Usually I don't even start watching a anime if they feel too likely of being trash (less than that only Tokyo Ghoul season 3.... obviously).
I evaluate animes partially by how they made me feel and partially how good their story is; plot/character development; world building etc... and partially by the quality of the animation (not very important to me).
Animes from my childhood (Pokémon BW and movies) I won't grade until I watch them again now.
