It looks like Gantz is hated by many people... wrongfully. Gantz is not just an mediocore ecchi anime with pointless gore scenes and awful characters. Gantz is full of emotions. The situation, the protagonists are, are unreal, it would never happen to us, so what would you do, when you die and you would directly teleported in an unknown room? What would you do, when a fucking ball teleports you to an area where you have to fight against fucking aliens?
And that's the point where Gantz success. The characters behave human, they cry, wonder, ask. This is the natural behavior when a human sees utopian ... |
