The reasons why Dragon Maid is good are that it presents sweet characters with beautiful drawings and animation in the slice of life genre, the characters are sincere, sweet and interesting, and the story is not delved into too deeply in the anime, which gives the viewer the freedom to watch any episode they want. The anime includes comedy, slice of life and battles, neither being too serious nor too sweet, thus maintaining the balance. You already know KyoAni's drawings, they are masters of the epicness of battle scenes and the sweetness of wholesome moments, and Dragon Maid is an anime with better fight scenes ... than some war anime. Moreover, the anime does not focus on a single topic; each episode feels new because the events of other characters take place in each episode. Moreover, the fact that the characters are different from each other and are really interesting makes it interesting to watch. Tohru's obsession with Kobayashi and being the Daughter of the Apocalypse, Kobasyashi being a human among dragons, Kanna's cuteness, Elma's gluttony and her experiences with Tohru, Fafnir being an asocial cursed dragon, Lucao's eyes and ' 'her eyes', Iruru's sweetness is perfect. Of course, the only thing that prevents this anime from being perfect is 'injury'. Lucoa and Shota, Kanna and Saikawa prevent this anime from being perfect. And of course, the fact that the mangaka is a bit 'perverted' supports this. In my opinion, Dragon Maid would have been better without these, but it is still an excellent anime.
