First let me say that this show is appealing to the fetishes known as "shotacon" and "Onee-san". (Older sister)
That is older women (usually busty) who are attracted to younger boys.
If you are not down with the fetish then its quite likely you won't enjoy this show nearly as much as I did.
Oh it is so so good.
Story: 6
Not the strong suit of this show, but that's because it is a episodic comedy. Shiina Aki, a young boy who has always been treated like a girl, moves from the countryside to a Tokyo dormitory so he can have a fresh start in middle school. The dormitory
...
known as Sunohara-sou is run by Ayaka Sunohara, a tall, busty, kind, older-sister-type character. All the residents of the dorm besides Aki also happen to be cute girls. They all have very large boobs except for one who is totally flat. Basically it's just 12 very cute and very funny episodes of antics.
Art: 7
Really pretty cute. Every character is incredibly moe and soft in design. Ayaka is the definition of a perfect Onee-san. There is just about something for everyone. All the characters are very unique and easily recognized.
The background art is fairly standard, nothing stands out.
Sound: 7
The OP theme is super-duper cute and catchy. It fits the show perfectly and is a pleasure to watch at the beginning of every episode.
The ED theme is pretty nice. It's a nice and wholesome way to wind down from a crazy episode.
The BG music does not stand out at all. Most pieces are really quiet and forgettable. It's basically just a bunch of soft, chilled piano pieces. It's fine.
Character: 8
It was really tough for me to pick a favorite character in this series because they are all just so much fun.
Ayaka Sunohara-
If you know anything about Onee-san archetypes, you know Ayaka. Honestly she is a very simple character. Some might even say that she is cookie cutter basic. Ayaka's simplicity does not take a single thing away from this show. It's great to see her interact with the tenants of the dormitory. She is truly the ideal older-sister that all Onee-san loves have been wishing for.
Aki Shiina-
A young boy who has always been treated like a girl. Mostly due to his somewhat abusive older sister. Aki really is quite feminine. He moves to Tokyo because he wants to become a man. Almost every joke in the show revolves around Aki, the main character. We see a small but sure amount of growth in Aki throughout the show, but mostly we see him getting teased by older girls.
Other dorm members: Yuzu, Yuri, Sumire-
Mostly 1 dimensional characters that exist to set up jokes. However, nobody is watching this show to see outstanding character development. They're all hilarious in their own rights. Sumire probably being my favorite never ceases to make me laugh.
Enjoyment: 10
Yes, I appreciate the whole "shotacon" thing. I can't even say why but it's great. We're all very jealous of Aki's newfound harem. Even if you can't appreciate shotacon, nobody can deny that this show can be hilarious. Anybody who has a taste for ecchi humor will get a real kick out of this show. It's all so simple and a tad cliche, but I PROMISE its SUPER CUTE and SUPER FUNNY. I don't care about the poor ratings on this show. I absolutely will defend this show till my death.
Overall: 8
Unfortunately for me laughs and nosebleeds are not the sole thing that contribute to a shows rating. What Sunohara-sou lack in depth and storytelling, it makes up with for it with great comedic writing and timing. (and cute characters)
I will never forget my first shotacon show.

Tokyo Ghoul except everything that was good is bad.
As a fan of the first two seasons I can't see this season as anything other than a massive failure and disappointment.
Story-5
Very tiny spoiler: Haise is Kaneki. Wow this show is boring. I'm not sure that a single interesting thing has happened in 12 episodes. Basically it's just 12 episodes of Haise and his new buddies fighting ghouls. Not a single fight is cool, interesting, or well animated, and not a single character is as good as a character from season one.
One thing I found so great about the original is that the man-eating ghouls who
...
couldn't possibly seen as good people were constantly and effectively humanized through the folks at Anteiku. It presented an incredibly difficult and interesting conflict where ghouls and humans desperately want peace but simply cannot coexist. Kaneki and friends constantly tried to balance peace and protecting their friends and that's part of what made the show great.
Well no more Anteiku. No more of Kaneki's old friends. And no more ghouls that are worth caring about. They're all gone and replaced with Haise's boring crew of half ghoul investigators and a bunch of ghouls who's most interesting and human trait is that they don't want to die.
Art-6
Significantly uglier than the original. The drop in animation quality is actually both astounding and depressing. A show that could be praised for it's stellar animation and dark edgy art has fallen so so low. It's production budget is likely close to half of the original and it shows. Not one fight sequence is cool or impressive and the art can also be incredibly inconsistent at times.
Sound-6
Also a big step down. The opening is good but not nearly as good as the original. The ending is also fine but kind of weird and not worth adding to any kind of playlist. All the background music is mediocre and totally forgettable. The sound does almost nothing to improve this adaptation.
Character-4
This is actually the worst part of the show. Haise has to be the most boring main character I've seen all season, maybe all year. His only character trait is that he cares about his friends and his current lifestyle. It's essentially impossible to get anything more than that out of his character. Every time he speaks it's something about how much he loves his life or how he doesn't want to be Kaneki again because he loves his life so much right now. I was constantly wanting him to return to being Kaneki against his will because I was so damn tired of Haise's babbling.
No side character is worth me mentioning with the exception of Urie (half ghoul investigator who works under Haise) who has untapped potential as of now. All the new ghouls are boring. All of Haise's new friends are a bore. They add nothing to the show whatsoever. The biggest internal conflict seen in a side character is "Damn killing ghouls is kind of sad." Really groundbreaking stuff. Massive failure in character writing.
Enjoyment-5
Obviously I did not enjoy this show and my expectations were shattered. This show has almost no redeeming qualities, and I never once looked forward to the next episode.
Overall-5
I don't understand how anyone can watch the all three seasons of Tokyo Ghoul and say that this one stands up to the first two. It's clearly a massively overambitious failure of a project.
I haven't read the manga and I don't plan to. This is a review of the anime only.

Two Car. The show about cute girls in motorcycles that nobody asked for.
*SPOILOR FREE*
TLDR: not worth watching
Story: 4
Nothing new or interesting. 2 girls with no control over their emotions race in side car motorcycles and overcome all kinds of relationship problems... sort of... actually they almost never overcome anything.
Story is totally cliche and uninteresting. The main girls basically love the same man (their coach) and also they sometimes race. That's it. It's completely riddled with unnecessary and annoying drama. On top of that most of the problems that arise in the show are never resolved and it feels very unsatisfying to watch.
Art: 6
It isn't terrible
...
nor is it ugly, but it is unoriginal and uninspired.
Character designs are OK. Generally no characters stand out or are at all note worthy. The settings/ backgrounds are also OK. Nothing very pretty or worth talking about. At least the show isn't an eyesore.
Sound: 4
OP and ED are both mediocre and are unmemorable. Background sound is exactly the same. The hype song that plays when they race adds to the ambiance a little bit but not much. I don't even remember what any of the other background songs sound like.
Character: Somewhere between 2 and 5
Not all the characters are as annoying and insufferable as the 2 main characters. But yes the main characters are awful.
Basically the two main characters are exactly the same person but they look different. This is kind of an ongoing gag in the show where everyone says "You two are so similar!" and of course they deny it because they hate each other. Yes the main characters who are childhood "friends" hate each other. Mostly because they love the same man. The main characters are best described as loud, irritating and immature.
Again not all characters are terrible and some of the side characters are actually pretty nice or funny, despite having little screen time.
There is a lesbian racing pair who is always very funny to watch, which is perhaps the only reason I didn't drop this show.
There is also another pair who has a rather good (though short) arc about friendship and trust. As cliche as that may sound... it was kind of nice.
Enjoyment: 4
Not worth watching. This show is a whole lot of needless drama and not a lot of sidecar racing. Main characters ruin this already bad show. An unsatisfying watch through and through.
Overall: 5
I don't know why I give it a 5 and not a 4. Maybe because 2/12 episodes were actually quite nice and well thought out?
Well anyways unless you are in love with motorcycles and anime girls do not waste your time on this series.

This is actually my very first review so bear with me.
-No spoilers in this review
Vatican Miracle examiner is quite unique for an anime in that it explores Christianity, and more specifically Catholicism. There are a few other I won't bother naming, but this one does it quite well I think. It manages to present interesting plot arcs and stories that explore the idea of holy miracles but at the same it doesn't to shove it's religion in your face. What I mean is that anyone who isn't Christian can enjoy this show without ever feeling uncomfortable or offended.
Story-8
The show has a few distinct
...
arcs within it; in each arc the main characters travel to a different part of the world and do what Vatican Miracle examiners do. The story arcs are loosely tied together, but for the most part are separate. Not every story arc is created equal but none of them are "boring".
One thing you will either love or hate about the show is how absolutely insane some of these story arcs are. You would be surprised how convoluted these things can get. Personally I love these over-the-top plots.
Art-6
Nothing too noteworthy or pleasing but it isn't bad by any standard.
The settings are usually done pretty well and set a nice tone for what is going on.
The main character designs are rather good, but the side characters are lacking. Too many of the side characters look the same or don't stand out.
Sound-7
OP and ED are quite good. The ED is sung by one of the main characters which I love and it's very cheerful and pleasant. It's especially good to hear the sweet ending right after a very dark and somber episode.
The background music is not something worth talking about but it serves it's purpose. I never thought to myself "this background music is bad" so therefore it's fine by me.
Characters-8
The two main characters are really good and well fleshed out, but beyond that there is almost no other significant character besides the main villain.
Hiraga- He is naiive, enthusiastic, intelligent, trusting, and kind.
Hiraga is a real pleasure in this show as he is always in good spirits and he is so filled with faith and hope that it seems like almost nothing can ever get him down. He is incredibly attached to his co-worker Roberto and they share a very strong bond; the bond they share is really easy to appreciate and it is especially highlighted in the ED and the dialogue the MCs share after the ED.
Roberto- Intelligent, calculating, strong. Roberto is Hiraga's rock. He is incredibly reliable and trustworthy. He is also endlessly knowledgeable about old books and runes, which is much more helpful than you would expect. Roberto had an incredibly difficult childhood and it is no wonder he works so differently than Hiraga. The two main characters essentially complete each other so they can work in a perfect partnership
It is lightly hinted at that Hiraga may be gay for Roberto but it is never mentioned directly or explored. Personally I'm glad about that.
Enjoyment-8
Never was this anime boring. The characters are likable and the stories are interesting. The settings are well done and the plots are well thought out.
Overall-7.5
I almost always rate shows based solely on my enjoyment, but trust me, this show really isn't so bad.
