Please note before you read this, the scores i gave it were all 10's. I'll explain in detail shortly
Yu-Gi-Oh!, as we all know it , is a super successful card game show, and downright franchise. Most of the content that spill's out of its universe, is made purely, for cash. The original series people will argue, is the same. And they are right, but here's how I look at it. So fucking what? As a child, me and the kids my age were absorbed into this show and its card game. I was about maybe around 9 when GX came out, and as a kid
...
I could not see the huge flaws that make up this show. We loved it so much, all these franchises, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Pokemon. Hell, maybe even some Digimon. These things, make up what I liked to do as a kid with friends and alone. And at the age of 16, I am secure enough to say I fucking love this show. Not that i would watch it or play the card game, Hell no I'm no fucking loser, but i love the memories and I still have a tremendous respect for this show.
It's all horrible, or it's all good. Does not matter. The story is shit. We have no development and all their is for characters are Archtypes. But that's OK. The dissection is redundant at this point! It was more about the cards then the actual show. But still this show had our tiny brains absorbed into this spikey haired, over the top, repetitive show! But at least it was consistent! If i had to pick most show's that game out now, or this, THIS in a fucking heartbeat. No not Angel Beats, Shoo weeaboo.
We basically got our dumb protagonist Jayden, who only losses when it suits the plot accordingly, our evil pedophile DR who wants to take him down, A stuck up rival who has a Ojama complex, a chick who does not want to show us her titties, a pussy for a best friend, Fat albert if he was a white Koala, and a strain of side characters that have more meaning than some.
This show sounds like shit! But when we were kid's we could let that all go and take it simply for what it was. Any review criticizing this show for its countless flaws is redundant. The only thing that matters to rate this show, No, this universe, is how it affected YOU. Fuck character and art and sound (Get your game on) YOU are what this show is about. Now take all your cards from you closet, or if you sold them remember the times, and just take a gander at yourself. This to people who grew up with any franchise, That IS YOU. Take it or leave it.

This Review contains MINOR spoilers. But they dont matter, trust me.
Onizuka is a Ex biker gang member, a virgin and a 5th rate university drop out. His goal. To be the greatest teacher in all of japan. And that is precisely what he becomes in this 200 chapter masterpiece. Let me start by saying this is the greatest manga i have ever read. Do not watch it, read it and i promise you it will be one of the
...
funniest things you have ever done.
The story mainly stretches on his part as a teacher at Holy Forest Academy. The only reason he could become a teacher is because of a chair lady, who believe he can pull miracles to change people. And thats what he does. He is assigned a class of Middle school kids, who is a group who have been through alot. Been betrayed by former teachers, they make it their crusade to torment all new teachers that are unlucky enough to be assigned to there class. But Onizuka aint no ordinary teacher. Most of these arcs take place with him helping individual students or groups, from saving kids from jumping off the roof (sometimes he accidentally pushes them off) and landing on the Principals Cresla (a running gag, is that he always destroys the principals cars, and its super funny because of how the principal reacts) to jumping off unfinished roads on a motorcycle or saving them from Yakuza. Another reoccurring factor is people always try to get him fired. At one point they make him take a nation wide test that his students take. Keep in mind that Onizuka is dumb as hell and another running gag is to always misuse Kanji letters on the board to spell crude words. Because he's dumb like that. And before he takes the test, he fights about 30 Yakuza, has 4 bullet wounds in him, And ACES the 5 hour test in 1 hour. Fuck you Teshigawa.
Anyway, the story is always funny and can make me cry like a baby. Sometimes i'm Babbling, and sometimes i'm literally laughing my ass off. Even though devices are used multiple times, the series is never boring or full of redundant panels. The way Onizuka gets everyone on his side, is just, so freaking mind blowing. This series made me think over on my whole opinion of educators and the education system. I am an Onizuka enthusiast to the core. His ideals and words are truly some of the most manly things ever. And he cares about his students! Even when he was framed for Embezzling money for the school field trip to some nature shithole and he had EVIDENCE that he didn't to it, he got up and told the whole school to make up for it, he'd pay for a trip to Okinawa instead. Like WTF! All because he didn't want to ruin the reputation of the student who framed him. INSPIRING!
The art is Tokyo Pop, so its bound to be solid. And it is, but the one of the best things about it is, the smallest side panels with absolutely the funniest responses and conversations ever. You will miss some if your not careful though, so keep your eyes peeled. Also, we have these 3 bonus chapters about his friend Saijami the dirty cop. In these chapters, your in first person perspective of Onizuka and you don't know what your saying, but you can guess from your friends responses. These are super funny, i can't explain, but just look out for those 3 special chapters, they are the core of GTO's comedy.
The characters to me, all feel like REAL Japanese school kids. This Ain't your fake moe shit, these all feel like real people, with real problems. Each character gets development, some more than others, but the main bunch of his kids get their own arcs or problems. Everyone is basically solid, not ground breaking, but enough to hit my heart. At least with some. Everyone's hurtin, so open up your tight asshole. But my favorite character is Onizuka. Now let me tell you a bit about my buddy here. He is fucking TOUGH. Fuck Chuck Norris, he's for tools. Onizuka can beat the shit out of anyone, no matter how many or tough. One time, he arm wrestled 100 tough shit ass men in a row. And he won. One guy was like 3 times his size too. Also, he survives falling from roofs unto cars without a scratch. Him and Goku are broski's.
I ENJOYED GTO!! Yeah hell right i did. I have gone through it about, 4 times. It doesn't bore me and i'm still chuckling. Just the craziest thing to read ever, i love it. I hope you do too.
So get ready for language you would be slapped for using, biology that would make a grown man bluss and math that doesn't add up, unless of course, your the Great Teacher Onizuka.

You ready boys and girls? You ready for men's talk? Sit the fuck down and strap the fuck up. You have just been diagnosed with fucking HIV. You wanna know why? Because this show just had sex with you.
S-CRY-ED takes place on giant island, called The Lost Ground. Suddenly, the place just
...
rose out of nowhere 22 years ago. People with special abilities are born sometimes called Alters. Most of the Lost ground is barren wasteland, With one exceptional city on it. We have 2 groups now. The city fuckers, and the natives surviving outside. In the city, a group exists called HOLD, within HOLD their is a group called HOLY. HOLY is made up of Altars organized to control other Altars outside the city, Native Altars. This story has such weak premises and devices, stuff we have all seen before. But the way it works with these is so astounding, its something i have never seen before.
Here is were we get to the center of this cream puff of fucking manliness. Wait, eww that sounded gay. Sorry, that aside we have one tough mother fucker named Kazuma. No last name, he doesn't need one. He lives with a 8 year old girl named Kaname who wants him to be a slave on a farm all the time. Kazuma say's he will do anything for money, so him and his buddy, Kimishima, take on jobs using Kazuma's Altar power. He turns his fucking arm into... A tougher arm and uses things on his back to propel forward using attacks like SHOCKING FIRST BULLET!
Anywho, tough guy Ryuhou is the second main character and he's working for HOLY. CAN YOU SAY JUSTICE?!?!?! Yeah hes the typical no evil good boy and all self righteous like Seto Kiba or maybe you could compare him to Suzaka from Code Geass. His altar is summoning his little doll to fight for him. Him and Kazuma, are EPIC rivals from beginning to end. At first hating each other guts in the first arc, to then teaming up in the second, but still wanting to kick each others ass, but with a respect. Personally, I like Ryuhou alot in the second half, just still not ass much as Kazuma.
Arts all like 2004-2006 what do you expect? I don't care that much so i just gave it a 9.
Sound is solid. Opening Reckless fire is sweet as hell and so is the ending. But one thing here. DUBBED fucking understand me subbed lovers? NO. YOU WATCH DUBBED. No exception.
We have a bunch of characters. From the ones in holy to the ones outside it. Development is really awesome but it kind of only comes after the second arc. My personal favorites is Straight Cougar, i guess he was like a mentor to Kazuma, and he uses the moves Kazuma does in the 1st stage of his altar. His motto is go through it fast so you have more time for the next thing. His altar is speedy mc speedy fuck awesome. I like most of the characters from watermelon man, to the "Humpback whale"(Nyron) to Scheris who is Ryuhou's fanbase. One character i can NOT STAND is Mimori. Worst character ever. Give me a second to rant. She fucking love's Ryuhou, because she met him ONCE as a kid and has never seen him since and just follows him like fuck. Get a life. I hate this bitch. Whines and complains too. Perhaps she can cook? NO, probably not.
Anyway s-CRY-ed is underrated and freaking Incredible. I believe it to be a 10, and it deserves to be in my favorites. Here a gave it a 9, just because i don't want to look like as a review, i overlooked its problems because i didn't. As a master procrastinator i believe to save the worst for last. ALOT of characters have some build up but NO follow and through and at one point become completely useless. Tachibana or Jigmar for example. Also it is incredible cheesy, which i love, but something like that is a required taste. I love this show. Do you? Find out, because this is something that you don' want to miss.

Yu Yu Hakusho is the Fucking king. Nothing that has come out in the last 10 years can touch it. It'll kick your ass, make you pregnant and then give you an abortion with some pliers. Its the bad ass ruler of anime, nothing you watch nowadays,( i was forced to take out this line by a lucky star lover, obviously someone who's brain is made of something harder than mine, Cause i cant stand that shit, but just so you know its naming overrated anime) EVEN COMPARES.
...
This is on a completely different level. I give everything a 10, because thats what this masterpiece deserves. DBZ is another childhood favorite, that is on par to this, but i believe Yu Yu Hakusho has a better story. Now thats just a OP. But what i said before about lucky star is true. ( This sentence was making fun of Weeabooboos)
The story is one that instantly captivates you, and has you cheering and crying throughout every moment. Every person i have ever shown this show to, people who dont like anime in particular, fucking love it. The story is so well spun around the characters and the world, its never overdone. Each saga completely makes sense, and has the just some of the best pretense's i have ever seen in my life. It has no filler. Absolutely NONE. There are some difference from the manga however, none that cause an significant damage to the show. No episode is wasted. The intricate tale it sows into your head is one i will never forget.
Now, its a 90's anime. Its not going to be all special animation like with modern anime's where you can shut off your brain, look at pretty colors, Pathetically choke a laugh out at things that have no comical sense to them whatsoever, and try to fool yourself it has a good storyline. Everything is strong about this show. It has flaws, very little, but it has some. The show i watched in HD, a dude on Youtube ripped em off the HD store, and put them up. You can watch all 112 episodes on there. I saw this alot on Cartoon Network as a kid however. The difference in quality is not complete necessary to have though.
The sound is Fan-fucking-tastic. The opening is awesome, I'm a complete metal head, and i love the opening. It the same opening song, but the OP slides change, every season except for the first two. Every ending is Great too, Mostly just the first 3. Just something about Chu and Yusuke punching each other in the knife edge death match makes my blood sear. Dub is infinitely superior. I will only watch sub if the dub is absolutely horrible. Sub is for Weeaboos. English is most of our language, if you want to watch it in Japanese, you either live in japan or ( Add insult here). But seriously the dub is freaking sweet. Watch it, or dont watch the show at all.
WOW wait a second, your telling me, in this show characters are actually developed and AREN'T cardboard cutouts of anime stereotypes? Fucking Exactly, I love every god damned main and side character. They each have a story with no loose ends and at the end of their road, you have no choice but to love them. They actually have characters that act like humans! God damn, you dont see that anymore. I can truly say that each character is the best i have seen in anime. There isn't to many either,
I FUCKING heavily enjoyed it. I would shout that in any crowd. I fucking love Yu Yu Hakusho. Its the best show i have seen in my life. I enjoyed it as a young kid on T.V and i enjoy it on my computer!
Overall it breaks the scale. Its better than a 10, its too good to be rated. It cant be beat. Of course, you can like shows better. Thats totally your opinion. But still, most shows still cant compete, whether you like them better or not. This show will make your heart explode.

Nadesico is like a coin. Simply put, its got 2 sides. Nadesico is known as a parody/tribute to mecha anime such as neon genesis (Nergal/Nerve...DUH) and etc... But its also got a much more serious side, showing the way of war, and that life isn't always a giant robot show. That being said, i would like to make clear that this is one of the best shows i have ever had the pleasure of seeing.
The story and its plot devices aren't the best ever, in fact they have probably all been done before. Usually, i would say
...
this is a bad thing but for Nadesico i say "SO fucking what." The story does flip and change directions a lot, but in the end it gets its point straight across. The objective also isn't always clear, but in the end it pretty much boils down to stopping this war that was brought up by greed, and that neither side wants to fight anymore but they want it their way or the highway. So the people of the Nadesico Kind of become there own civilization that want to end the war.
Art is no complaints, because well you know, its like 1997. Its old and the fight graphics real are cheesy but in the greatest ways. Gekiganger flare and passion slash man.
The music sound track is great, basically fitting in everywhere. The greatest theme song of all time is in there, Gekigangar 3 theme, and the op You get to Burning grows on you.
Ok this is the best part. Characters. The crew in the beginning is described as having "a few personality disorders." In my opinion you have one of the most diverse and funny crew in any ship i have ever seen. My favorite character is one thats used a lot, he died twice. Gai daigoji, if im spelling that right, or Jiro Yamada. He is the soul of this show, the goofy hot blooded mecha character. He dies early but his spirit is carried on throughout the show, pushing the main character Akito onward. Gekiganger 3 is the infamous, "show within a show", a Mecha cartoon series that is in Nadesico. They talk about it in every episode, and even have one dedicated to a Geki-Fest. Its the energy driving through that show that gives Nadesico its not just goofy and hot blooded side, but the one that makes each character go through their own changes and each evolve after every ordeal that they have to face that life is not Gekiganger, but that doesn't mean they cant strive for tomorrow with the same amount of hot blood that can sear threw metal like Gekiganger. There is tons of jokes in here too that crack me the fuck up, a especially the whole Yurika wanting Akito thing(plus every other girl because to the other male crew members hes a lucky ungrateful bastard).
I enjoyed this show to the fullest, each episode going by quick and wanting the next one. I lost sleep to this show, lets just say that. This show doesn't have one of the greatest endings. In fact theres so many loose ends and questions that its pretty obvious that there was gonna be a sequel. I dont think this detracts from the show though. It is what it is, i know people say to just enjoy something for what it is, but i usually have to criticize. Not for Nadesico, its ending was perfectly fine for me. It did what it had to do.
Overall i loved this show. Thats all i can really say. Its definitely at least in my top 6. Any advice would to not watch the movie. Ever. It will detract from the value of the show. Alot. Enjoy.

Beelzebub at first, looked like just another anime/manga that comes every season, nothing interesting about it or anything enjoyable about it in any sense of the word.
This was a very wrong first impression.
I will say this, i did not like the anime anyway as much as the manga, the anime is new so it only has about 13 episodes right now, and it looks like it could be filler riddled.
The story was not like it seemed at first. Its about a bunch of kids that are trouble riddled, not in the emo sense, but as in "I'll kick your ass if you look at
...
me wrong." Even the females were tough, having to be to fend for themselves. Oga is one of the toughest, and he stumbles upon the demon kings son. Bel, and is forced to raise him as his father. Oga isn't really a bad guy, just different, and he reflects his views of how a man should be onto beel and in those moments you grow to like him. As the story progresses tougher fights lay out that really keep you into it. theres no arcs like other martial arts like DBZ or Yu Yu hakusho but its tied together anyhow.
The art is standard, nothing special or unique but nothing bad. I didn't like how the girls looked and there wasn't another boobie time but you know, thats OK.
There is a diverse of characters flooding through. Sometimes theres to many and they aren't developed properly. But later on they stop bringing so much into it and start working with what they got. Almost everyone is enjoyable and funny, even the losers like MK5. These guys gave me tons of laughs and are some of the more clueless characters around.
The enjoyment was the best part about this manga, everything else was just good, but this is what set this series out. I had quite a fun time reading this, nothing that i was craving to go back and read, but nevertheless was pretty exhilarating.
Overall, Beelzebub was funny and had its tougher moments. Once you get past the beginning you wont really want to stop. It has not ended or anything like that, it still comes out weekly and i plan to keep up.
