You're right. They should've mentioned something about it.

As for me, What annoyed me the most at the ending is Erin's explanation for why he did what he did. I remember him saying something along the lines that he "had a lot of power & he didn't know what to do with it". I was like: So you chose to destroy the world? I mean, what kind of nonsense is that. I would've preferred it if he stopped at " I did what I did so that you'd defy me & become heroes in peoples eyes" instead of the former explanation.
His dialogue with Armin at the end made the whole struggle seem pointless. It ruined everything that the whole team ever did. It ruined the whole story for me tbh.

Yeah absolutely! Though I felt like some dialogue in the ending of AOT made the it worse than it should've been, but yes I'm definitely a fan.

Hoshina is a great choice as well. I prefer him to the seemingly equivalent of his in AOT Levi.

I think that the whole team is really complementing each other. I don't think that I dislike any character up until now.

I don't read a lot of manga, but I might start the Dandadan after the anime finishes this season to see how things are going to turn out (even though I feel like I'm going to be spoiling myself this way).
