Amazing art, sweet story, genuine love.

It's been so long since I've read a story that involved two people learning of the love they have for one another without there needing to be an outside source creating jealousy, one of them leaving the other to make them realize it or one of them abusing the other into loving them.

The quiet way that they communicated their love nonverbally made me squeal. I was smiling during every chapter and this is a must read for anyone who wants that consentual, subtle short and sweet BL with yaoi as the last ... chapter that you can skip if you don't want to see it. But honestly even the sex was so freaking cute!! Like how?? OMG

Two young men, Nagisa in school and Issa passionate about fishing. Their relationship history is skimmed through and the focus is on the last half year of their highschool life.

"This is hard, Do you want me to go or not?"

The fact that they understand eachother so well that each can point out to the other where their faults are making things difficult for the other and neither of them get upset about it makes this soooooo freaking cuuuuuuute!

There isn't much depth, no drama that pulls them apart, no crisis that drives them closer. Just a simple story that I think anyone would enjoy.

Short and sweet. Downtrodden meets motivated. They work together to turn over a new leaf, partially for themselves and partially for the other. Along the way they get used to each other's company, even after an embarrassing moment they're able to move on and reaffirm their goals.

The art was beautiful and the story, albeit a tad typical in character personalities, I liked the different environment that they developed together in. It's not long enough to feel like the development was realistic so don't expect to walk away from this story thinking "omg they worked so hard and went through so much and came out ... stronger!".

Either way it was well done and if made longer would probably be an AMAZING story. I have no doubt with the art and the baseline, this story could take a cool turn if made into a 50-60 chapter story. But alas it is a fraction of that size. Well done nonetheless.

Holy shit if this isn't the most messed up yet somehow amazing story I've read in a while.

The abuse was hard to take at first, I mean it's ROUGH. Hardcore non-con turned romance. The humor had me laughing so many times, even my kids were asking what was so funny, especially in chapters 30-36.

The hatred that Euihyun has for Taeju for most of the story is volitile and I love it. The Mangaka does a great job illustrating the realistic level of anxiety, depression and nonstop thinking of the "what ifs" one would have in his situation.

Taeju's ability to take every puch, kick and attack ... of any kind from Euihyun in stride, even make a joke out of it makes it so much easier to laugh through the emotional rollercoaster that is this manhua (ex. Euihyun shoving a spoon down Taeju's throat)

A commenter made a good point that Taeju is really good at distracting Euihyun from his own negative thinking either with dirty jokes or random topic changes.

Their relationship started out absolutely disgusting. However, and this is a big "however", the fact that the Mangaka was able to demonstrate the moment of realization of Taeju and his feelings so well and provided so many moments of his attempts to try and redeem himself, while also sneaking in some intrusive selfish/controlling/manipulative thoughts to get what he wants at what ever cost, all the while his efforts being rejected time and time again but him never once giving up, made this a worthwhile read.

Euihyun carried this story and Taejun made it terrible and funny. If you can't do non-con then absolutely do not read this story but if you think you can get through it then this is a must read.

It was so good that I bought the novel. Also because the comic omits a part, noting that it's in the novel and I was sooooo curious.

The art isn't extravagant, it's the story that pulls you in. You have someone who's not gay suddenly mater with someone who is and just up and decides "welp, this is my mate so I'm going to woo him whether he likes it or not!".

Afterwards they get to go through family drama and death threats. Pretty amazing.

I can see how the average Westerner would see this story and be weirded out by the cousin thing. Western culture has normalized a certain moral standard that influences our perception, especially for those with no/little knowledge of cultural norms that exist worldwide.

With that in mind, this story did a really good job with the character development, especially given it's length.

You get to know why the characters feel the way they feel and see how those feelings change, and become stronger. With real world challenges put forward as the catalyst rather than the typical tropes of "I still love you just because" or "I don't ... meet your expectations therefore I can't love you back" with the overplayed resolution of "we can't help but fall into each other's arms so we may as well stay here".

Instead they are given real world complications and while the story never provided us the solution to the problems they'll likely face, it at least gives the characters the motivation to grow emotionally which was really cool to see.

The art is well done as well.

If you can put aside prejudices likely built from western idiology this would be an amazing short read.

**Side Note**
The only reason I didn't give it a higher rating than 8/10 is bc of how I choose to rate manga so I know which ones I want to re-read.
This is a great one shot that I'll likely think back on one day but I save the 9/10 and 10/10 for manga I know I'll re-read, and oftentimes those manga are longer and more complicated. Like Blue Sky Complex, Blood Bank and At the End of the Road.
Either way this story is a must read for BL/yaoi enthusiasts, especially if you're needing a break from yaoi that is overwhelming.

This was a very well written story. There is a "not recommended" review so I had to add one to help bolster the other "recommended" on.

The primary premise behind the reviewers discouragement of reading this manwha is do to one scene, towards the end that is dubcon. It for sure pushes the boundaries of noncon for sure.

I absolutely disagree that the one scene paints the entire story in that light though. If dubcon or noncon is a hard limit for you then absolutely please don't read that part. You could skip that scene altogether and not miss anything of importance about the overall story. Just ... scroll right past it. You'll be fine I promise.

Other than that, this is now one of my favorites because it is a setting outside of a school or office job. The "spirits" aspects are in dreams rather than youkai. And I love how they flirt with breaking the fourth wall.

The humor is amazing! It's not a huge part of the mamwa but the parts that made me laugh had me having to cover my mouth so I didn't wake my kids. The sex scenes were hot as fuck (light saber dicks, but still hot!)

And the ending had a twist and then a sugar fucking sweet, throw your head back sway, makes you want to cry finishing touch. It was perfect.

While I spent the majority of the story thinking their relationship seemed based on sex, the ending helped remind me that they actually developed a relationship from different hardships and fun experiences that would be too boring to get into the specifics in a comic so I discounted them and I felt bad for doing so.

My biggest point has to be though; that while there was a moment of force that occured and could make those who are sensitive to it cringe, this story overall was absolutely, amazingly done and I HIGHLY encourage others to read it.

Underrated Manwah. This story does such a great job giving the characters personality. I mean the story tends to be carried by the fact that the MC has a. Distinct personality that is noticable to Min Woojin.

On top of that the typical trope of "the past coming to haunt them" is so well done. It felt like a TV drama as the past was incrementally revealed with each chapter, with the sudden plot twist that provides the answer to the question Taemin has had about Woojin's disappearance.

And just to provide a quote that made me freaking shiver: "I want to invade...as deeply as I can ... inside you...and fill your entire mind with just me. 'Like?' There's no way that the existence of Yoon Taemin to me...would be explained with such a simple word."

*You've got that freaking right! Aaaaagggghhhh! So goddam hot! Yet so accurate! How could we possibly use the ever-changing, ever-adapting, ever-increasing vocabulary to describe how we feel about someone?? Ugh! So good.

Also, not only does this Manwah portray a wonderful example of an identity crisis and what does it means to be "Me"? Who am "I" without my name, my body, etc? It also does a great service to the "possessive" uke trope without being stalking and abusive.

It ended before I wanted it to but it was still satisfactory. This is not a yaoi at all, definitely just a drama filled BL but nonetheless enjoyable and exciting to read. 10/10 for sure.

If siblings sharing sexual partners is not your thing then don't read this manga. Otherwise this story isn't as bad as the other review it's making it seem, which is why I'm making a review.

While the plot isn't anything new; uke in trouble, seme(s) assist under conditions that include sexual satisfaction, uke falling for seme(s), etc. This story has a wonderful plot twist towards the end that makes it less gross and underhanded and more cute and sweet.

Mitsuki is kind of annoying with how he doesn't seem to have ANY curiosity about his own situation but it is adorbs how he learns more about Rei ... and Kai's differences.

Sure the story could have provided more detail to make it more suspenseful, the conflict that brought them all together in the first place seemed to be over before it began, the mangaka definitely prioritized sex scenes over story development but that's okay. It happens.

I would still recommend it if you're like me and on a BL obession and want to read any decent BL stories. Check out my list. I've read a lot so far and this one wasn't that bad. I recommend any stories I rated at 7 or above because either the art, or story was decent enough to make me want more from it or was just plain satisfying.

Give it a read and enjoy the typical BL tropes and sex scenes that permeant this manga. It's a pretty good read, though the beginning may give you the ick at first, stick around, it gets better.

This was a Master. Freaking. Piece.
Granted things moved fairly quickly in the story, it had wonderful dra to draw you in and a great base to hold the story down.
Watching the characters grow due to the influence of one another was adorable and if I didn't "squeeeee!" Like a million times in this story.
This is the cutest freaking story I've read so far. Gam Rae is just all around kind and forgiving and Go Jin is such a wonderfully loving and protective partner.
Their relationship is ideal and I want to continue reading more stories with relationships that are so loving and healthy.
Granted they struggle to ... communicate due to their own fears or assumptions but it all works out in the end. (Because of course it does.)

ABSOLUTELY recommend this super cute story with three different conflicts that keep you drawn in before it ends on a super sappy romantic note.

I had to drop this series mostly because I just can't stand how toxic the relationship is. It's basically a relationship between someone who is constantly verbally abusive and takes advantage of their partner, never being honest with themselves and taking every opportunity to get out of apologizing and someone who is overly forgiving.

No matter how bad it gets Dojin forgives Hye-Sung for literally everything. It honestly just pisses me off.

If you can get past that part of the character design then go for it. The story has great detail and their journey would be cute if there was some character development, but I made ... it halfway through and they're still exactly the same, just living a different lifestyle.

The sex scenes are hot though, and the art is really well done. Sometimes in color, sometimes not.
