MHA continues to show how easy this writing stuff all is ;) The amount of painstaking thought and attention to detail in this show is absolutely staggering. A hero's costume (or villain's) or hero's name is an excellent way to diversify and hint at a heroes superpower such as batman or spiderman. This attention to detail obviously will go unnoticed by many viewers but its such an iconic part of any hero, MHA truly takes this trope to heart as displayed to us over this season.

I'm personally not a fan of comedies overall especially parodies, S1 had other things to draw me into the show but for me S2 removed those moments.
With Saitama being too predictable and overpowered he takes a back seat for a large chunk of the show which highlights how awful the supporting caricatures are. King's words of wisdom and his circumstances are enjoyable and Garou's quest is alright but everyone else is just really dull. Genos had to be the most disappointing to me as he was my fav in S1 but S2 has him basically doing nothing and takes no time to ...

This show blew me away upon my first viewing and even though I've watched the show well over a couple times it still continuously manages to have a large impact on me. Why should you watch this show? Ties right into the story of this show, What is a hero and Why do I want to be one? The answer is different depending on who you ask. Firstly this is a recap episode highlighting all the main events of the previous episodes. I went in knowing it was a recap episode so I wasn't expecting further development of the story.
It sucks to not get any new content for the week however it perfectly captured all the main events of the series so far. The mental anguish Goblin Slayer faces is one of the highlights of the show to me and this recap hit all the important aspects of that. Not sure whats going to occur next, however the heavy emphasis on mortality in the episode and the last scene definitely set up ...

I've watched both the fate zero and fate UBW anime which is highly recommended before you see this movie.
Just on a visual level I am reminded again of how animation being used is far superior than anything that can be reproduced in a live action film. That is to indirectly say the scenes are incredibly beautiful especially those snow scenes, wow. To match the jaw dropping scenes the sound effects and music are equally great, and are very much Fate series -esque. From the powerful thuds to the sound of chains you will feel the impact of the weapons. The story requires previous knowledge going in ... |
