- MC helps her love interests and friends grow as people + process their trauma - There's a lot of emphasis put on the friendship between the MC and her love interests - Similar "found family" trope - Both start off funny and cute but get slowly and progressively more dramatic and serious in tone as the series goes on - The character development is really good - The cast is extremely likable
