*A review that will slightly go into character flaws/plot issues.
(Tldr; I think it's worth watching but I hope there is a continuation of the anime)
I'd like to make three points before giving my opinion of this anime.
1. I went into this completely blind with a vague sense that it has something remotely to do with tennis.
2. I have dabbled in and enjoyed various sports anime as well as dramatic anime.
3. I will be giving my honest opinion of the story regardless of the positive/negative traction this anime initially received when it was still airing.
Personally, I feel as though Hoshiai no Sora was received far
...
too harshly. It can be argued that this anime was not so much a sports anime but more so a drama that hid behind the guise of youths doing their best to achieve their goals. Contrary to what some may say, I personally enjoyed each character introduced. However, because there were so many characters it was easy for the story to feel as though it was neglecting resolutions. In some ways, the anime did fail to truly conclude any sort of conflicts introduced in the story. Still, I found this anime to have done its job properly. I'd also like to give props for this anime for doing something different. I won't jump on the whole LGBTQ+ or raising awareness of abuse bandwagons because, from what I've seen, the anime has been praised enough for its attempts to introduce such topics without feeling too forced. Though the dark aspects of the anime may seem random or like hidden Easter eggs, still I felt that the inclusion of such topics to raise awareness was done as harmlessly as it could (though it still seemed to have fallen short of some people's expectations, I felt that it was done in a way that made it have a closer sense of what it would feel like to be in such hopeless situations).
The anime's portrayal left various conflicts unresolved, but with that I hope that there is some sort of OVA or second season to round out the conflicts. I felt that the anime overall did a good job at introducing things, but surely with the amount of time and expenses needed to maintain anime it was only a matter of time until it felt rushed or for the low budget to show. People were clearly unhappy with two major factors with this anime: the unresolved conflicts and the Kirito-like (Sword Art Online) main character of tennis. Again, this anime felt more like a drama than a sports anime and that isn't necessarily a bad thing. It is unfair for a new person to suddenly be good at something, but I do think it is realistic to say that there are some people who simply have good sense in certain things. Of course, it wasn't entirely realistic, but I do think it was needed for a seemingly mature and empathetic character like Maki to appear as the fixer upper or else there would be no catalyst for the rest of the cast to deal with their own problems. This anime is dark, but it does its best to find the light in things by having tennis as an outlet. It isn't until the characters are so heavily motivated by something that they start to face their personal problems at home. I would love to see the resolutions to these abusive conflicts that very much exist in real life and were captured in this anime. You may ask yourself "why is this happening" at times, but I think it's a unique characteristic of Hoshiai no Sora that exposes that these issues very much exist. They are personal problems that a lot more people deal with than what we think. I believe the lighthearted message the anime was trying to express by focusing on the doubles of tennis is that you don't and shouldn't have to do things alone. Though there were many cliffhangers left, I do think Hoshiai no Sora was worth watching.

WWW.Working!! is a spin-off of the memorable Working series. I will be reviewing this anime separately from the original series, but there will be comparisons. Overall, this anime is extremely laid back and attempts to pull inspiration from the popular aspects of the original series. But because of these attempts, I personally feel as though this anime cut through potential plot emphasis and butchered character development. Nonetheless, I still found this anime to be entertaining overall.
*Story Rating: 7
There isn't anything specifically unique or amazing about this anime's plot. Personally, I found side character stories to have been far more entertaining than
...
the main one. The focus on romance in this spin-off was incredibly generous in comparison to the original series. This focus can be both a good and bad thing. It's good because Working fans are given more emphasis on the ships that they've been waiting for that were so appealing in the original series. It's bad because it places too much emphasis on the relationships to the point where the series feels incredibly rushed. Still the comedy genre is the main strong point that makes this anime worth watching.
*Art and Sound Ratings: 7.5
I found both the art and sound of this anime to be incredibly average. But I do enjoy the simplistic art style of it all. For some characters, watchers can see a combination of the original cast mixed into one.
*Character Ratings: 7
I personally felt like the character development of this anime was butchered heavily. All but for the exception of one of the female characters really changed throughout the series, whereas the rest were fairly stuck in their ways. I found that several of these characters, like their character art designs, are combinations of past characters. Again, I feel as though this is the creators' attempt to maintain a story that is familiar but still different as it contains the popular aspects of the original series. Nonetheless, characters were entertaining overall.
*Overall Rating: 7
I personally give this anime an overall rating of 7. In comparison to its predecessor, this anime tried a bit too hard to be as good as the original. However, it still maintained a romantic comedic familiarity that Working fans would enjoy.

Kiitarou Shounen no Youkai Enikki, or Kiitaro's Yokai Picture Diary, is a short and straightforward anime. If you're into watching short time duration anime and increasing your anime list entries, then here is an anime for you. As one can expect from the title alone, the anime is about meeting and interacting with yokai (supernatural monsters, spirits, and demons from Japanese folklore). Don't be fooled by the first episode or first half of the series, this anime is laid back and somewhat dull but there is some good story by the end.
*Story Rating: 7
As anyone can expect from a four minute episode
...
duration anime series, there isn't much that this series is able to expand on since the main goal of the anime is to bring up a new yokai each episode. Personally, I found the first half of the anime to be very dry and dull even though the anime attempts to introduce new and different stories each episode. Still, by the end of this anime I found it to be satisfying to watch. The second half of the anime contained more plot and development as it concluded on an end that most people would expect from a human-yokai relationship anime.
*Art and Sound Ratings: 6.5
There was not much to this anime that I personally found unique. Sound did not stand out very much for me. In terms of art, I found the female characters (when in their human forms) to be the eye catchers of this anime. My favorite character art design was for Yukimusume.
*Character Rating: 6
For a very short anime, it's to be expected to see countless static characters that get little development. Still, I think this anime chose the more unique types of characters from the cliche character tropes found in most anime. Although screen time distribution was short, I feel like this anime focused a good amount on characters that the creators knew would be most popular with audiences.
*Overall Rating: 7
I personally give this anime an overall rating of 7. The shift during the second half of this anime was the main factor that influenced my decision to give this anime not a 6 but a 7. It's a good anime to binge watch if you want something short and to put as an entry on your anime list. Enjoy the comedic moments shared by the more prominent yokai and the protagonist near the end.

ReLIFE overall contained moments that were extremely expected and other moments that were extremely not. Nevertheless, this anime contains several lessons that any age group can relate to on a personal level. Do not be fooled by its chill, laid back, and comedic visuals and atmosphere. But for watchers who would like to watch something chill, laid back, and comedic this anime can still be considered for you -- just expect a little bit of drama.
*Story Rating: 8
As I mentioned already, this anime had moments that watchers could have already expected from simply reading the summary of the anime. The idea of
...
being able to become a high schooler again for a year in of itself an obvious comedic route. However, with the individual being a grown adult and NEET, one can imagine that such a comedic route would contain a sad ending due to the obvious time limit of one year. The grown attachment to individuals that, if you were your actual age, would get you caught in jail. Needless to say, this is where the anime takes a different turn as the main protagonist keeps this fact as a constant reminder when interacting with peers. What was unexpected were the interactions and development that watchers are shown that make this anime more dramatic.
*Art and Sound Rating: 8
I personally did not find anything unique regarding this anime's art and sound. But I did find character expressions and art style shifts during comedic moments incredibly entertaining.
*Character Rating: 9
Part of the unexpected moments in this anime had to do with character development. At first glance, each character beyond the protagonist would appear to have static characteristics that would label them as obvious side characters. The cliche character tropes in most anime are all gathered here: the loner, the oblivious one, the try hard, the talented one, the childhood friends, the glasses character, the sadist, etc. As most can be seen as side characters, each character received a fitting amount of screen time and character development that changed these static foil characters into independent and dynamic ones. It is from these characters that watchers are able to find the individual that they are able to relate to personally. Overall, with the variety of characters and situations present in this anime, the watchers will be able to relate to something on some level and accordingly receive an inspirational message as they watch the characters overcome it themselves in the anime.
*Overall Rating: 9
I personally give this anime an overall rating of 9. The comedic and dramatic genres were executed great. The pinch of romance that all anime watchers secretly want from these characters are given at a satisfying amount as well. Hoping for a season two.

During the earlier portion of one's life, the concept of friendship is often needed to aid the growth and development of one's character. When humans are still young, the need for friendship is an important aspect that, in turn, helps develop one's personality and views. Often times the meaning of friendship can become skewed -- usually caused by some sort of influential experience -- as one grows older. In the anime, Isshuukan Friends, the viewers are given a more pure, yet difficult, view of friendship between the main characters Fujimiya Kaori and Hase Yuuki. Isshukan Friends is an enjoyable anime that illustrates the hardships
...
that accompany changing one's view of friendship and the true meaning of being friends.
Issuhuukan Friends solely revolves around the idea of Hase Yuuki's desire to be friends with one Fujimiya Kaori, whose memories of friends are reset every week. The use of amnesia in anime are often overplayed; however, though there was still a feeling cliche, the use of amnesia in this anime is more bearable compared to most anime. The story line, for a slice of life anime, is quite interesting. However, at one point, the 'climax' that the animators were aiming for was actually quite obvious. Although the anime may not be so thrilling or full of plot twists, still the story is enough to capture the attention of its viewers.
The art designs in this anime are quite simplistic, however, there is a cutesy feel to the character designs, especially since they look like they are blushing half the time. The landscape art used in this anime are not as complex as they are in other anime, however, the landscape art is still appealing to the eye. The sound, all around, helped create a calm atmosphere that helped hold the anime's slice of life genre together. The voice actors chosen for the main characters were all enjoyable and did not seem out of place with their character's personality.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In all, the anime was quite enjoyable. The character personalities were the most enjoyable, in my opinion. Fujimiya's pure character and Hase's loyal attributes made their relationship more precious as it may seem. Even the side character's personalities were creative and caught my eye. Although the story is a bit slow and a little obvious, still watching the relationship between Fujimiya and Hase unfold was entertaining and enjoyable.
This anime has a calm and warm atmosphere to it that brightens one's view of friendship. The importance of the hardships, the laughs, the memories that accompany friendship are depicted throughout this anime. Isshuukan Friends implies that friendship is something precious that one must hold onto.
