This is a manga with promise. It is a mix of Harry Potter and Bleach, basically if Harry Potter and Bleach had a child, Burn the Witch would be that child. Instead of samurai's with swords, it's witches with gun(?) wands. Instead of hallows it's dragons. Blago is an even bigger dork, than Denji from Chainsawman, for better or for worse. I love the dynamic between Noel Niihashi and Ninny Spangcole. It's a bit too earlier to say that will become a great manga, but I have faith that Kubo can make Burn the Witch properly fulfill its potential. We'll just have to see if ... it can do it when we get to that point. Also I love the Dragon Ball reference.

I can say this is for sure. I didn't except Kubo to make an animanga similar to Harry Potter. It's basically if Harry Potter (series, not the character) and Bleach had a baby. Instead of samurai with swords vs ghosts called hallows, it's witches with wand guns vs dragons, and instead of the soul society it's a reverse London. From what I see it's very odd but also very good. It has good potential, and maybe if Kubo plays his cards, it might even rival Bleach itself. Time will only tell if it fulfills that potential or not. I look forward to seeing what Kubo ... has in story for this new series of his. Also I didn't except a Dragon Ball and Sailor Moon reference.

It's not a good as season one but it's good overall. But the core themes are still there: the behind of scenes of work in Japan, revenge, and idols. This time it's more focus of theater play and acting rather than idols itself but idols are mentioned. Overall it's a good season. I kind of wish a bit more focus was put on the Ruby and the idol trio, but Ruby herself was given a good bit more attention, so I guess that it's fine. It also gives some info about the twins' dad and how the series will be going moving forward. Overall I ... love this season

Where do I even begin with this manga? It started out so well. It a good power system, it has good themes, it has good fights, and it has a lot of memorable characters. You'd that this easily a worthy candidate for the 2nd gen big three right? If it ended with Gojo vs Sukuna or shortly after it with the next fight or two then yeah, but no after his fight with Gojo he fights 9 other people before his final battle in what's known as the Sukuna cycle.

1) a new challenger appears to fight Sukuna
2)) they start doing well
3) Sukuna wins ... anyways out of nowhere
4) Sukuna is still holding back, and
5) the cycle repeats

You can tell that Gege was starting to be down with writing jjk because the quality of fights were getting worse and worse with each cycle as it got from the peak of jjk that is Gojo vs Sukuna. Gege rushing the ending of jjk by reducing the epilogue to 5 chapters.


6/10 manga. It started out very well until after Gojo vs Sukuna where it started falling off hard

It's about idol, idol culture, the behind the scenes of idol culture, and it's a revenge story all wrapped in 1. The intro and outro are absolute bangers. The idea of 2 idol fans being reborn as the twins of their idol is already pretty interesting enough. On top of that she gets murdered. 1 twin chooses to be an idol like her mother while the other twin chooses revenge for the one who caused the death of his mother. It's a must watch for all anime fans. It's many things and being full of surprises is one of them

It's Dragon Ball Z, it's great all around very little issue about it. Even after rewatching it, the show holds well for a show as old as it is. I only have 2 issues with it:
1) it has a decent chuck of filler
2) the English dub changes the opening and ending, along with other things

Let's start with issue #1: the filler
Due to how it was airing along side the manga, Toei eventually had to add filler. There are 2 types of filler. True filler and episode extender filler. True filler is what most people think when they think of filler. It is episodes that non-canon ... and don't appear in the source material which is usually the manga it's based on. Episode extender filler is hard to notice because they just extend the show's further than usual and do nothing else, so it's hard to see unless you've read the manga. Dbz has both types. There are about 38 episodes that are true filler which is about 13% of the episodes. While it looks like a good it's not nearly as bad as something something like Naruto Shippuden which has true filler as 41% of its episodes. If you don't like true filler you can look for what episodes are filler by searching it up, or you can just just Dbz Kai. If you don't like the episode extender filler then you're just better off watching Dbz Kai

Now we're on to issue #1: some issues with the dub changing things
As something who grew up I love the English dub, but now after rewatching the dub I can see some issue with what they changed in the name of appealing to overseas fans. First of the song change for both the opening and ending. The English is the dub that has a different opening and ending song from the original dub, the Japanese dub while the OP and END remain the same as the Japanese dub. I don't ever recall ever hearing an anime that had to change the OP and END's song for a different dub. While I do love the English dub version's songs, I'd prefer to have the same OP and END as the other dubs. Now we get to the other half the English dub the weird line changes. These aren't as noticeable since it only appears twice. First is the line about Frieza talking about Dragon Ball, he says wants to the caress the dragon. And when he stabs Krillin with his second form's horn. He jokes that Krillin is riding his horn like a cowboy. Neither of which Frieza ever. Both lines are very cringe-y to listen to and weird

With those issue aside, the show is still good and holds up well
