The story is of a boy Osakabe who saved a fairy and as a way of saying thank you gets a wish granted. The wish he takes is "cute childhood girlfriend". He gets his wish granted with the fairy transforming his male childhood friend Iori Osanai into a girl.
But Iori doesn't really feel like being a woman so he manages to turn back into a man by proclaiming "I am a man". This works unless he is consciously reminded that he's a girl.
That's the whole story.
The same schtick of Iori turns into a girl, something happens, he can't transform back, manages to transform back and

"It has a bad formula but great execution"
That is how one person would describe this show. It takes literally every Isekai trope imaginable and puts it into the anime, but, unlike other 90% of Isekai, this one actually takes the time to show them and not skip the whole thing. And when I say "all the tropes" I really do mean it as there's really not much happening in the show apart from what sometimes feels like checkmarking tropes. "Short black hair - check, deep voice - check, he meets royals on first day - check, he's hated by nobles - check, has OP mad skillz ... Sep 5, 2019
Youjo Senki Movie: Manner Eizou

A nice little addition to the movie, done with the chibi style most people have seen in Isekai Quartet. Of course, the 4th wall is non-existent here and Tanya more than once talks to the audience, along with other members.
They explain the rules as part of military conduct, which actually makes sense both IRL and in the anime world. It reminded me slightly of those WW2 posters "Adolf is listening" etc. The "movie" also gives us a small look into what Japanese theatre rules so that's nice. I wish more movie releases did this kind of thing as it's quite fun to see. Aug 1, 2019
Dakimakura to wa Kekkon Dekinai!

The title is not wrong. This really is a story about a guy who got to date a body pillow. Unfortunately axed after 5 chapters (1 volume) for some bizzare reason, this manga shows us what would happen if a dakimakura turned into a real girl.
The story is actually quite a nice SoL/Romance story with an ending for once. The art is serviceable for a SoL and I enjoyed it quite a bit for a few laughs. I wish we got to see more of it, despite the crazy premise. I don't have much more to say about this but MAL is forcing me to, but ... Sep 7, 2018
Did this anime deserve a sequel? Yes. Did it deserve this? No.
There's one word to explain the ""story"" and that is bland and uneventful. It felt like watching a Saturday morning cartoon where every character reset after each episode with almost no alteration. The characters are the same as the last season... and they stay the same throughout the season... The new character of Shichimiya is rather well made though. Art is amazing. The only reason I'm giving this anime a 6 is because of the art, animation, and sounds. The fight scenes are choreographed beautifully and the characters move naturally. The VA were great as well and ... Jul 23, 2018

Usually, I do not watch these 3-4 minute shows, but this one caught my eye. The premise is really interesting; an 11-year-old boy in a huge boy and his elder sister in a rather small body.
We manage to take a small peek into their daily lives and see how different they are from ours. Funilly enough, not too much. The story holds itself pretty well and I rarely feel like the hunk of a man that I'm watching isn't 11 years old. If this was a 24-minute anime it wouldn't nearly be as good or would even work imo The art and animation is very good. ... Mar 15, 2018
This is a great anime to get your child to watch. It's full of very important scientists and it shows good morals all around
Story 8/10 While the story is kind of sketchy on the start )read- how the hell can they do that), it develops really nicely in the end. The scientists that they show us are very inspiring people and every time they introduce a new one, they show an experiment or two that they're holding at that time. Art 8/10 The art is a good mix of 2D and 3D, as is usual. The characters are very moe (probably due to the age of the target ... Jan 12, 2018

I'm not very good at writing reviews, but here I go. I started this anime, while on a "maid"-run and it's been one of the high points. It's not without its flaws as well.
Story/Characters-8/10 The story itself seems simple enough at first, but as we learn more about characters we really get to know the real story of this anime, which are the characters. The characters are very diverse but are all linked to the inn in which they work and love. There is a character for everyone (mostly :P)! A lot of people complain about the romance and fanservice parts, but I feel like it was ... Jan 1, 2018

This anime covers the story of Jesus and Buddha who come to Earth on a vacation. It's filled with all kinds of mischief and fun. If you're looking for something to cheer you up, look no further than this.
The story is just that, they're here for vacation. It might sound boring to some, but it's the funniest anime I've seen in a while. It's filled with religious jokes and their roles and abilities as Gods are used in a clever and funny way. The sound is pretty good as well, there is quite a lot of "in mind" dialogue which is great as the dialogue itself. The ... Jan 1, 2018
