Pandora Hearts and Soul Eater center around a group of people fighting against some type of monster that's created from a dark evil. Each group is made up of a large collection of characters. Several character similarities can be drawn. There's Death the Kid (SE) and Gil (PH), Spirit (SE) and Oz (PH), and Maka (SE) and Alice (PH), just to name the main ones. Other character similarities are really small traits.

Karneval and Crimson Shell have a story surrounding an organization that's trying to rid the world of something. This organization allows in new comers, which are some of the main characters to each story. Character wise, there are some similarities: Gareki (Karneval) and Xeno (CS) and Tsukumo (Karneval) and Claudia (CS) are the only ones I can really make - and the second one is only minor details. The feels for each story are pretty close as well.

Most of the similarities are in the characters. Rustblaster is all vampires, save for one person, and there's a vampire in D.Gray-man. There are many character similarities: Allen (DGM) and Aldread (RB), Komui (DGM) and Sakihito (RB), and Fou (DGM) and Kodachi (RB), just to name a few. Other similarities are with the feel and flow of each manga.

D.Gray-Man and Karneval deal with fighting an opposing force that is threatening to them, or the world. They have kind of the same feel, except that the main protagonists are completely different. There are other characters that are similar though: Kanda (DGM) and Gareki (Karneval) and Lavi (DGM) and Yogi (Karneval) are the main ones.

7th Period is a Secret and Beautiful Name deal with characters that need to deal with events in their past that keep them from being accepted, so to speak, and they both take place, mainly, in a school setting. Shun (7th Period) and Karin (BN) have many things in common, and they both have some issues that keep them from the male protagonist for a while.

Some characters similarities can be drawn as well: Rai (Diabolo) with Stein (SE) and Ren (Diabolo) with Spirit with be the closest, but Ren and Rai aren't exactly like Spirit and Stein - just in certain parts.

Love Recipe is funnier while Fall In Love Like a Comic has a lot more drama. There aren't a lot of character similarities, but the stories are really close to identical.

There are some great conflicts, both mental and physical, that show in both series for that reason. There are a lot of character similarities as well: Break (PH) with Fai (TRC), Gil (PH) with Kurogane (TRC), and Shalon (PH) with (TRC). There are a few other characters that are similar to each other, but those are the main ones.
