...then you might like Pokemon add

Pokemon has a lot of common battle shonen elements in it, specifically influenced from Dragon Ball. Both Pokemon and Dragon Ball have lots of adventuring and lots of fighting. In Dragon Ball, people use their own bodies and martial arts skills to fight, while in Pokemon, people use several animals to battle with each other, in a fighting style that also has many elements of martial arts. The main protagonists also have similar personalities, as both of them enjoy fighting strong opponents and always display good sportsmanship. They are both more concerned with doing the right thing rather than focusing on just winning.

If you liked Ashita no Joe add

...then you might like Ooi! Tonbo add

The protagonists of these two shows have very little in common. Ashita no Joe is quite dark with a rough atmosphere, while Ooi! Tonbo is pretty light-hearted with a relaxing atmosphere. However, both of these shows are sports anime, but not really about sports. They are both much more focused on character development than they are on boxing or golfing.

If you liked K-On! add

...then you might like Oniichan wa Oshimai! add

Both anime are CGDCT anime with lots of comedy. The main characters of each anime are also quite clumsy in different ways and go through character development as the series goes on. If you enjoy one anime, you'll probably enjoy the other too.
