Imagine yourself, 16 years old, in high school, there’s that boy or girl that you have always had a crush on since you were 5 years old but you were too shy to confess your feelings. You really really like them. All of a sudden you get a second wind, that little sprinkle of confidence. You decide on a whim to confess your deep feelings to your crush today. Deep breath you got this. Nothing can go wrong, right?
You finally ask them out on a sunny day. To your surprise and elation they say yes! You both hug it out and in the heat of the
...
moment you both lean in for a kiss and…
BEEP BEEP BEEP!!!!
It's the sound of your alarm clock ringing. You awake from your dream. Reality is often disappointing. Turns out they rejected you straight up and never had any feelings for you because it turns out they liked your other cooler/cuter friend. RIP…
You put up a face at school but when you get home to your room, the tears start flowing and you cry yourself to sleep. Then as you slumber away you dream of the ideal reality where you go out with your crush as a coping mechanism. You poor little thing. When you wake up the next morning, at 3 PM, you slowly get up and rub your swollen water filled eyes and try to move on with your day and your life with your broken heart. Sound familiar?
If this situation rings true to your heart you either are an average adolescent like the rest of us were or you’re a female heroine in the summer comedy romance title; Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines!
In this glorious romantic comedy about high school rejections, we start off with our MC, our main boy and broken heart therapist Nukumizu as he somehow gets dragged in protagonist style into the lives of three newly brokenhearted high school girls. He’s the quiet introverted type who wants to be out of the spotlight, but with the magical power and plot armor of the main character he is our fated one tasked to console not just one, not two, but three of his highschool mates from the horror of post rejection. Yes, he was there to experience THREE WHOLE rejections in THREE different circumstances. This would be like going to Las Vegas, Reno, and Atlantic City to gamble three different times and then getting blackjack all three times. Wow すごい。
Yes, instead of your typical rom-com where we focus on the MC and his love interests until they ultimately get together as a couple, Makeine shows us the perspective of the losers. The brokenhearted, rejected, saddened love interests. Yes we’re talking about the Yui’s from Oregairu, the Miku’s and Nino’s from Quinquennial Quintuplets, the Onodera’s from Nisekoi. Don’t mean to rub the salt in the wound, I injected it. 😛
That’s the whole point of this show. It focuses on the losing aspect of every romantic comedy and trope there is. It’s different , it’s refreshing, it’s entertaining and that’s why it’s great. At the end of every rom com after the main character and their destined partner get together, have you ever thought about the other characters who sacrificed their emotional stability to confess for the chance of love. Have you ever wanted to see the weeks and months of personal growth or sadness as a result of unrequited love? Have you ever wanted to cheer for your favorite character’s post-confession life and ship them with a new character?
If all these criteria match your interests, well…
Now you can drop Isekai Suicide Sauad and watch Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines! from the goated studio A-1 Pictures. They did a really good job with this one. So, it’s an 9 out of 10 for me.

God, I hope Google Translate is correct 🛐
Anyways welcome to Alya Hides Her Feelings in Russian where our MC Masachika Kuze (let’s call him Kuze-kun for short) decides to run for Vice-President of the student council after being convinced by his cutesy serious half-Russian “friend” Alya to run alongside her for VP and President respectively.
Honestly if every dude had a person like Alya that motivated them every single day, I think we would collectively evolve as a species and invent space and time travel in mere seconds. The power of Alya’s charm has boundless charm on the male Homo Sapien.
Ehmm… Back to
...
the review…
Kuze-kun is that kid in high school that sleeps all day, doesn’t try, and then magically pulls out A’s out of his pants like it's playboy money. IMAGINE if he actually had a sprinkle of ambition in his life, he could solve world hunger! It's Incredible what a little confidence could do to a person. It’s a shame because he wasn’t always lazy. Back when he was a kid his old pops made him watch movies from the Soviet Motherland and combine that with an unknown beautiful blonde childhood friend with whom he learned Russian to speak with, we are left with Gru... I mean Kuze-kun.
Yes, Kuze knows Russian at a native-level but pretends he doesn’t, Kuze-kun is a very intelligent and reliable person, but can be carefree and lazy. I wonder who is living more of a double life? Gru from Despicable Me or our Russian-fanboy Kuze-kun.
🎶 Who will Kuze be tonight? That's the question. Dun dun dun… I know you heard the rumors…🎶
Sorry I had too. The new Will Pharrell song is stuck in my head. It's a banger tho..
Moving on, we have our other important character, beautiful cold-blooded silver haired half-Russian princess Alya - MADE IN Россия!
She is half-tsundere and half-ROSHIDERE. Yes, she is so much of an anomaly that there is an entire page on the Dere Types wiki dedicated to her. YES, GO LOOK “Roshidere” UP! IT’S REAL! To break her personality down, she will insult you and call you useless in your native language but when she speaks Russian, she gets all in a cutesy teasing mode and expresses her true feelings to you. In that world lucky Kuze-kun has her and her cat-like nature in his right hand while in our world we have our good friend “Google Translate” in our left hand and our right hand. Вытащите свой разум из сточной канавы.
Sorry not sorry if you’re left-handed or ambidextrous. I hold my phone with my left hand.
With that out of the way, will our “couple” win the student election? Will Kuze-kun find his long-lost Russian-speaking childhood friend? Will poor Alya find out that Kuze can understand Her native language all this time? Will we find out more about Kuze’s and Alya’s backstory? Oh, the embarrassment that would be…
If you want the potential answers to these questions watch this highly enjoyable, entertaining, and sweet Romantic Comedy if there’s room on your Anime Watch List. If you don’t have room for it MAKE ROOM FOR IT, YOU COWARD. YOU DON’T HAVE A NEW SEASON OF MY HERO ACADEMIA THIS SEASON TO DUCK BEHIND YOU CASUAL! WELCOME TO THE CUTESY GULAG MOTHERF**KER!
ALSOOOO, FINALLY WE HAVE AN ANIME THAT DOES SIBLING DYNAMICS RIGHT HOLY SHIT IT'S AMAZING. I WAS NOT EXPECTING KUZE’S SISTER YUKI TO BE SUCH A GREMLIN. ANOTHER REASON TO GO WATCH MY BROTHA.
BECAUSE OF YUKI SUPREMACY🛐 Alya Hides Her Feelings in Russian gets a high score of 8 from me.

🎵 Do you believe in magic? In a young boy’s heart? 🎵 Minoru Kagenō certainly does.
For an Anime in the heavily bloated genre of Isekai and Reincarnation, this show is pretty good. Here’s why… 私が説明させてくれね。 (Let me explain.)
Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute! Also known as The Eminence In Shadow is a show that is interesting and very amusing. It stands out in this crowded genre of anime.
Minoru Kagenō is your typical anti-social high schooler that everyone thinks is normal and thinks nothing more of, but actually has a crazy personal life that nobody but himself knows about. Yes, he’s that socially reclusive person who hates
...
the world he lives in and would rather be in a fantasy world that can use magic. No, not the world of Harry Potter you geeks.
He would rather spend his nights beating up local baddies to help him increase his skills and "stats" than have a regular social life. Hey at least he believes in himself. He gets himself to a point where he saves one of his classmates from a kidnapping attempt. How did he do it you might ask? He did it with a fricken CROWBAR. I’ve never seen a crowbar become one with a person’s noggin before. Well at least he saved the girl. Sigma style.
Nice. The days keep passing and the kid still wants magic. He keeps hopelessly training day and night in order to gain it. But all of a sudden one night, some bright lights appear. He finally found it. Magic. He immediately runs like a little kid does when he/she chases the local ice cream van and begins to sing with his whole heart 🎵 I believe in magic!!! In my chūnibyō’s heart!!!🎵
🎵 How the magic can free m-
*SPLAT* *CRASH*
*BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP*
Oh. No…
“Local high school Chūnibyō kid dies at the age of 18 from running full speed into Truck-kun, believing that it was the ultimate source of all magic”.
Trust me it was really magical when Truck-kun went “Avada Kedavra” on Minoru’s ass. Oops I meant head. And he was so young too…
Also, if you don’t know what chūnibyō means, you’re using the internet to read my review. Look. It. Up.
With the power of Isekai on Minoru’s side, he gets reborn into a different world. YAY!
As all reincarnation anime follow the same idea, Minoru, an 18-year-old is put in a royal family’s newborn baby by the Isekai Gods. BLESSED! Minoru now Cid would then begin pursuing his lifelong wish from a young age, to become a powerful being who influences from the shadows of society. His persona alias is even Shadow to compliment himself, get it?
The general gist of Cid is that he lives the double life as a student at a magic and the head of an underground organization that fights “imaginary” enemies in order to live out his fantasies that he was unable to do during his life on earth.
We even see that our man Cid also has dissociation between his normal school life and his shadow life. At school and off work hours Cid is willing to play the part of a below average and weak “mob character”. Letting himself get into harm's way to further give the guise that he is just a “NPC" to really play the part.
On the other hand, he runs an organization *cough *cough* cult *cough* *cough* full of powerful female members who Cid saved from a curse on their bodies. GIRL POWER! To validate their revenge, Cid lies that the cause of their curses was due to the imagery “Diabolos” cult. And thus, Cid’s Cult *cough* I mean Cid’s organization was born. “Shadow Garden”
And you want to know the best part? Turns out that Cid’s imagery “Diabolos Cult” is real.
Oops…
Summary end.
The Eminence In Shadow is a refreshing take in the bloated Isekai/Reincarnation genre that breathes new fresh air into a main character that I think can be relatable at times.
Come on, don't lie. We all see our 8-year-old selves in him. Ohhh.. the power of our imagination. Look, the guy even has his own signature catchphrase too!!! I think it's cool that he gets to live his chūnibyō dreams but oh reality is often disappointing for viewer…
Oh, and the Animation quality was great too. THANK YOU, Kadokawa! For ANOTHER ISEKAI TITLE!!! I mean that's all you animate now these days anyways. Haha.
To wrap things up. If you like geeky things like magic, Isekai, and have a secret chūnibyō side, and more Isekai, The Eminence In Shadow is the show for you.
If you do not like violence/blood, and a major dose of death at times, I'm sorry you will not like this show. Otherwise, the show is literally magic. Literally.
It's a damn good show, and a recommended watch for many anime consumers out there. 8 out of 10. I haven’t had a laugh like this in a while.
Go watch so Kadowawa has to animate another season of Sigma Cid. Because we all have a piece of Cid In our hearts.

Ahhh another rom-com type show for me to watch and review… How bad could this show be? Renai Flops sure made my heart flop. Not in a good way… for at least the first 6 episodes. We’ll get to that way later…
Before we begin, let me backtrack to the beginning… the very very eye stretching beginning… Renai Flops (at least the first half) is what you get when you put together all the possible rom-com tropes into one show and press copy and paste 1000 times. True Insanity… For example the guy (let’s call him Steve) “falls” down a set of stairs only to “accidentally”
...
pounce on an unexpecting girl walking by. Sound familiar? If you do know what I mean, you know what happens next in the story… Oh and of course there is “accidental” groping in this rom-com and I don’t know where to begin with the other crazy shit that I saw here… So original… And yes this is basically copy and paste for the first couple of episodes. Holy shittt… It really was hot shit with no set storyline. I felt like I was drunk watching the show even though I was sober the entire time. Not good… 🙁
It was almost uncanny sort of bad. Too trash to be true... Like the whole show is supposed to be geared towards Steve, a teenage dude going through that rough patch in his adolescence with his hormones. *wink* *wink*. The first half of the show feels engineered like it's supposed to be a fantasy world to help a certain someone escape reality, a certain someone like Steve… Maybe…. Who knows? Do you know because I dunno. Are we humans living in a simulation? Are anime and manga just a figment of our imagination? Yes… Who knows which question I could be answering above? It could be one of them… all of them… none of them…Thiz werlde iz notslddl;fksd’;f’asdadksdd;’
ddsfdlfllk,rsdlvksedlvkadkvldsk………………………………………………..
*Error…* *Error…* Error…*
*Brain Overheating…*
*System Rebooting*
Sorry about that, I had a mental system error there. Had to restart my brain… Basically that’s how abrupt the plot twist hit me when it occured during the show. I won’t tell ya what happened or when it did but oh boy did it change the tone and really gave the show points for creativity and dedication to the storyline. Still very trippy though.
All I can say is that Renai Flops flopped but in a somewhat good way. The show’s slow start and confusing story in the beginning is what turned off the show for many viewers, and I can understand why viewers felt that way. However, real show showed its true colors during the second half, and you MUST watch it all the way through if you decide to pick this one up. The concept of Yin and Yang are everywhere in our world, so you must watch through the painful and bad beginning to enjoy the latter half of this misunderstood title. Balanced.
I’m not saying it's great, it’s not even that good either but it ain’t bad for a rom-com show. 5 out of 10 for me.
*Disclaimer* I have nothing against any Steve or Steve’s in the real world. Steve was the first name I could think of. Using the MC’s real name is boring… Steve is more relatable imo… Sorry in advance if your name is Steve. Anyways, what are you still doing here… Go watch the show… or not… ok bye…

I just want to say thank you for the memories and the childhood that this series gave me for 15 years of my early life. Although the anime is not perfect, nothing is, this show will always hold a special place in my heart forever. The animators and directors remember the small details of all of the events that occurred throughout Ash's 24-year journey, and I appreciate that fact as nostalgia is one of the most powerful forces anything can bring for a person.
As the series came to a close, we finally witnessed history, that Ash is finally a Pokémon World Champion after watching him
...
develop as a trainer as we developed ourselves as people. Is Ash a Pokémon Master? Thats up to him to decide since it's an arbitrary term. Either answer, I salute Ash in honor of him completing his journey and being a person who does not give up on his goals. Thank you, Ash and Pikachu, for the memories.
As for the anime itself, it was pretty bland at times, but I loved the call backs throughout Ash's journey across the Pokémon world. The finale of the show really made up for the show. For nostalgia purposes I am giving this show a 6/10. Memories are full of bliss, and to each their own. We finally conclude an era of our lives as Pokémon Anime fans.
If you're a Pokémon Anime fan revisiting the anime series, definitely watch this and you'll be going on a nostalgia trip at points of the show. If this is your first Pokémon season, please do yourself a favor and watch the series back from the beginning. This season will only hit different if you already watched the Pokémon series up to date.

Okayyyyyy…. Another Rom-Com. Great…. (this summer is gonna be packed full of them yay…)
Okay, time to regress in my speech to give you a very very very easy to read summary of Osamake.
Ex-child kid star Sueharu meets a girl in high school named Shiro. He Falls in love with that popular girl (turns out to be a famous writer). Turns out that girl has a boyfriend. *Protagonist heart shattered* Goes and teams up with his childhood friend named Kuroha to get revenge on said girl that broke his heart.
Turns out that girl was a superfan back in his time as a child TV star.
...
She fell in love with said boy. Meets him back in high school but sees him with his childhood friend. *Girl’s heartbroken* Said girl gets a fake boyfriend to get revenge on said boy.
Nani! Yeah, the misunderstandings in this anime sum up this anime. It goes from this type of rom-com to more of a harem rom-com. As a result, you guessed it. The overall plot is a bit bland and somewhat confusing to follow at first. The show kind of gives me some similarities from other average-of-the-mill romantic comedies.
Take for example Masamune Kun No Revenge (Masamune-Kun's Revenge). Osamake follows this idea as well. The anime has its funny moments, but based on all the aspects it turns out to be nothing special. Just like any other average rom-com out there. The protagonist, who is usually a guy, has 3 types of girls after him. The childhood friend, the child who turns out to be a girl instead of a guy, and that little sister influence. Ah, you got yourself a rom-com. Haha… if only real life was that easy haha…. Also, the protagonist has a weird (sexual) obsession with his best friend’s sister and goes so far as to let that sexual attraction be well known in front of the 3 girls fighting over him. I am going to quote him just to let you know how stupid this sounds.
Protagonist - “If I made that much, I could ask Rena to do pervy stuff and she wouldn’t blab, right?!”
Bruh there's a thing called a filter, the horny dude should buy one lol. I get its comedy, but honestly, it doesn’t do much for the plot and the anime in my opinion. Just makes the protagonist an idiotic pervert just like most of your average male rom-com protagonists. Ahh just gotta be like the others. That’s what Osamake is all about.
Anyways, this show isn’t all that special. It has its funny moments and the characters have great design and voice acting. So based on rom-com standards it's fairly average. From an anime standpoint not so much. I would be surprised if this returns with a second season. In the meantime, I’ll be reading the manga and the light novels to get a better impression while we wait for another season.
The anime itself it's just… okay…. But, it is watchable if rom-coms are your fetish. The only word you need to know about the show is that it is average. Meh…. not a show that an anime watcher NEEDS to watch. I even fell asleep during one of the episodes lol. It's just not that great. Not terrible either.
“Sueharu-oniichan!!!” Gosh dang, it's stuck in my head. Be prepared to hear that in your sleep if you’re going to pick up this show.

Well, this anime certainly surprised me...
Before I begin, most of my reviews are made without prior knowledge of the manga or light novel. I usually read those after I get interested in a new anime. So my perspective is solely based on what I think after watching the anime this season.
So back to what I said earlier. The direction that the anime went was very different from where I thought it would go. Initially, I thought this was going to be darker and messed up with very explicit scenes. But this anime took a different turn from what I expected. As the story progressed, there
...
was so much character development. Along with great chemistry between Yoshida (the salaryman) and Sayu (the runaway high school girl). Yoshida and Sayu kind of give me a father and daughter vibe throughout the show. Both characters grow from each other which makes their relationship very strong. Sayu unintentionally teaches Yoshida how to be a caretaker and to be responsible. While Yoshida slowly helps Sayu overcome her trauma. Although she is not completely out of the woods yet, she shows significant growth from where she started. The relationship between the two is something special.
However, there were some aspects that “triggered” me a bit. This series is pretty dark as Sayu is not particularly in the best state of mental health in the beginning. Traumatic events back in her hometown broke her to the point that she fled from everything she ever knew. She becomes a nomad surviving from offering her body for a place to stay. Eventually, when she meets Yoshida, we slowly piece together her past and we see massive character growth and maturity from her. It sucks that she has to go through this. The character development and backstory were pretty well done. The drama aspect of the anime does not disappoint.
One may turn away from this anime because of the age difference between Yoshida (full-grown ass man) and Sayu (only a teenager). Creepy right…. That was me initially, but after watching the whole series it makes sense. It works out. It is very complicated though. It’s not for everyone. Again, the relationship between the two still confuses me very much and I still don’t know where the anime will go from here. If this anime does get a second season (40% chance or less I dunno) I will be interested in watching this again.
(Also Hige Wo Soru turns a little into a harem anime. Only slightly...) We see multiple women in his life that all take an interest in Yoshida. By no means is this a harem anime, but we do see some elements of the genre. Just something I noticed.
By all means, it's up to you whether you want to watch this anime or not. I’m just here to give my perspective so I’ll leave it at this.
I unexpectedly enjoyed watching this during the Spring season. It gets some points negated for being kind of messed up and kind of dark. But, it's not bad. It’s a great romantic drama anime that you should pick up in your free time if you have nothing else to watch.

Okay.. Before we begin I would like to say two things.
1. Holy F**K this "anime" man…. Especially the uncensored version...
2. I will be reviewing this series from two different perspectives.
Okay now let’s begin. So Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi is an anime *cough* *Cough* where an innocent protagonist goes rouge after he was tortured, beaten, and broken by his partymates and the kingdom. The innocent kingdom is actually an evil tortuous kingdom that its citizens have no clue about. The protagonist or should I say antihero reserved the world and his life. The only thing he wants is revenge and now that he restarted his life,
...
he is hellbent on making those people suffer.
So my sane human side wants to rate this anime a 1 because of its really really really gross theme and negative vibe. The artwork isn’t even that great and some of the themes here are really, really graphic. Eye bleeding graphic. If this isn’t hentai you must be so innocent and pure. Why is someone innocent like you watching this? My eyes are rolling into the back of my head. If you go to church or pray at a temple… okay I won’t go there… The main point is to say goodbye to your innocence if you watch this anime. Or if you can even call it anime.
Okay.. enough of my complaining. This show has lots of 18+ graphic eye bleeding content. You may throw up from some of these scenes. CONTROVERSIAL CONTENT!!!! So if you watched Rising of the Shield Hero and Goblin Slayer, and combine that with Interspecies Reviewers. You get this Frankenstein shit that is Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi. Yeah if you do watch this be warned you may pass out. *THUMP* Interspecies is the only reason I didn't rank this show a 1.
Okay so now that the human in me has passed out, my devil side can now come out and review this glory thang. I shall bestow a 10 to this glory hentai. The revenge plot may be interesting to watch for some of my evil folk out there. I like the sound of chains... *PUNCH*
Okayyy, now that I got my body back, me and my inner devil came to an agreement and decided we would rank this show a 3. Why? Well if you didn’t read my profile I rank by WATCHABILITY!!! Your average anime watcher isn’t into hentai or graphic themes. If you think so, you should double check what you eat for breakfast. You may be hallucinating. Anyways, my point is that this anime is HARD TO DIGEST. PERIOD.
If this site was called My Hentai List (MHL) I would easily give this an 11 out of 10. I love me so wolf action. MAL plz don’t ban me. It's only joke.
But we are on My Anime List and this is not an anime. Sorry not sorry…

*BOING* *BOING* *BOING*
What’s that sound? It’s the sound of another average harem and ecchi anime.
What else did you think the sound was???
Basically teenage boy has the power to know anything. Boy gets headache from using that power. Boy uses headache to get kiss from girl. Boy gets Minecraft creative mode from knowledge power and chained lady. Boy attract many girls with that power. Boy can die if use creative mode too much. Boy gets pleasure to restore power. Boy repeats process again and again.
Basically boy cheat at life. But too innocent to use power.
Damn I am jealous of the protagonist. I think it's every
...
Weeb’s dream to have OP powers and especially my male viewers. THE HAREM. Okay… Enough of my side thoughts...
Yeah so basically this is your very typical harem/ecchi anime where the protagonist is a total SIMP and is absolutely timid and scared when it comes to the opposite sex. The only exception is that he’s got a “stacked” childhood friend that he can basically kiss on command. WOW that’s a first. But, alas here come your typical anime harem tropes. Typical girl vs girl fighting. Girls stepping or sitting on the protagonist’s face. The clingy younger sister. And of course the boring and redundant plot that a regular series of this type of genre has.
The quality of artwork is average for a harem anime. Nothing really special about it. If you are a fan of the harem genre this is a fair show to watch if you have nothing else on your list. For my more casual anime watchers, I would skip this series. There are better shows to watch. But ultimately it's your choice if you want to have many girls constantly saying “Norn” stuck in your head after each episode.
Ore dake Haireru Kakushi Dungeon has its good and okay moments. But most times the show feels dry and just uninspiring. The characters are somewhat lacking for a Harem anime and we don’t really see a whole lot of character development. The story itself feels random and unstructured. I feel like every episode it just jumps from random to random. It leaves me all confused. If there was more work into characters and story I would have ranked this higher. But, again I am not surprised about its quality given that it's intended to be an ecchi/harem title and nothing more than that.
But after watching all 12 episodes, I give this anime nothing more than a score of 4 for being lackluster.

As per usual the Re:Zero series fails to disappoint. Usually I get bored when watching a season with 24 episodes but I really liked how this time they split the season into 2 parts. After watching the 1st part it left me with a lot of questions and gave me excitement to what Part 2 had in store.
Boy... There is was a lot that I liked in this part. We got to see a shit ton of character development and all that stuff. Don't forget about the relationship between Subaru and Emilia. The growth between the two was very heartwarming to watch. If I go
...
on too long I'll spoil the season for you guys. That defeats the purpose of a review. lol
Anyways, I think the art is fire as always and the OP and ED songs do the Part justice. The season was a roller coaster but at least it was thrilling and exciting. Re:Zero always will be a staple Isekai title to me and this season just proves that even more.
If you are an Isekai fan and you haven't picked up the Re:Zero series. What are you Doing!?
Stop whatever you are doing and start watching this wonderful piece of art. (made out of Subaru's blood...)
