Let's all love lain. It's one of the greatest anime I've ever seen, but the plot is difficult to follow because it's an experiment based on how the internet and reality fused 25 years ago. Before its time, if it were newer, it would've been a bigger hit with more consistent production. You should watch Haibane Renmei first because it's even better and more serene/emotional. Angel girls born with wings as adolescents find purpose in a world filled with humans and societal division. The art style of Lain and Haibane Renmei resonates with me.

THEYRE AGGHH the cards where they're like actual together are also so cute TT like dazai's 0740 card where chuuya's behind him and just pops out to attack shdbcjshbd i can't with them ALSO the image you have to unlock for dazai's tengu card is so prettyyy <3
