Kekkai Sensen & Beyond

Three years ago, a gateway between Earth and the Beyond opened in New York City, trapping extradimensional creatures and humans alike in an impermeable bubble. After the city's restoration, monsters, magic, and madness are common findings in the area now known as Hellsalem's Lot. Leonardo Watch, a young photographer who unwillingly obtained the "All-seeing Eyes of the Gods" in exchange for his sister's eyesight, came to this paranormal city to find answers to the mysterious power that he possesses. He later finds his life drastically changed when he joins Libra, a secret organization of people with supernatural abilities dedicated to maintaining order in the everyday chaos of Hellsalem's Lot.

However, this is only the beginning of Leonardo's unexpected journey ahead. Regardless of the constant threat of otherworldly enemies, he is determined to uncover the secrets of his power and find a way to restore his sister's eyesight. Kekkai Sensen & Beyond follows Leonardo as he sets off on more crazy adventures with his comrades, fighting to ensure peace and order.

This anime brought me a ton of joy watching. There was never a dull moment, throughout the entire anime I was hooked. The animation style along with the character's development are pieced together perfectly. I wish there was a little more content because the episodes were very interesting. The story is for the most part, always fast paced, there are certain times when the plot slows down but in general not really. This show does an amazing job at creating an enviorment of controlled chaos. As I previously stated, it is very fast paced and there is a lot going on at all times, but ... that is also what makes the show very good. The plot also takes on a sort of "new adventure" or "new event" every episode which kept me interested the entire time. Kekkai Sensen & Beyond had a lot of moments where I found myself laughing out loud. Overall this anime is really solid and I would recommend it to people who are interested in action with a sense of messiness.

Mixed Feelings

Blood Blockade Battlefront & Beyond is a series that follows the adventures of a group of super-powered individuals who protect the city of Hellsalem's Lot from various supernatural threats. The series is a sequel to the original Blood Blockade Battlefront anime and features the same cast of characters.

The animation and art style of the series are visually stunning, with vibrant colors and detailed character designs. The action scenes are well choreographed and exciting to watch, with a good mix of hand-to-hand combat and supernatural powers.

However, the plot of the series can be confusing and disjointed at times, with several storylines and subplots that don't always ... connect well. The pacing can also be slow at times, with some episodes feeling like filler.

The characters themselves are interesting and well-developed, with unique personalities and backstories. However, some characters receive more attention and development than others, leaving some feeling underutilized.

Overall, Blood Blockade Battlefront & Beyond is an average anime series that has its strengths and weaknesses. This anime is probably one of the hardest things I've had to watch.

Story: I thought the story was fine until the last three episodes they were just huge misses for me.

Art: This seasons only redeeming factor is the blood arts. Leos eyes are also super nice looking.

Sound: They didn't mess up on sound.

Character: I think the mc's reason for not using his eyes is kind of bad. Zapp is hard to watch a most the time and b/c they're the most frequent characters.

Enjoyment: WHY? WHY did the three episodes have to be what they were. Don't have children if you're an assassin. Don't marry men ... that are 3-4 times your own age. <- My biggest gripe it was like a wrecking ball through the whole series.

Overall: His eyes are dope too bad he rarely uses them >:(
