Both will make you cry your eyes out. I teared up near every episode of violet evergarden and clannad just gets you whenever you reach an emotional scene. violet evergarden is sad due to the shear emotions expressed by the characters the main character is introduced to while clannad is sad due to the relationship between the two main characters and their situation. both worth watching if you wanna tear up.

If you liked Lucky☆Star add

...then you might like Nichijou add

Both high tier slice of life comedies about a group of high school girls going about their lives. Nichijou relies on exaggerated unpredictability when it comes to its humour while lucky star relies more on character interactions. both have a very similar skit like format where each episode will include 4 or 5 short funny skits.

If you liked Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann add

...then you might like Kill la Kill add

the main similarity is their distinct pacing - both start and end in completely different places. These two series are the only series that I have watched that have such a shocking change of pace half way through where they almost become seperate story lines. Def both worth a watch.

If you liked Jujutsu Kaisen add

...then you might like Chainsaw Man add

both chainsaw man and jujutsu kaisen are perfect examples of 'generic in its genre but great execution'. on top of this they also have similar characters, animation quality and openings. It feels like they both followed the same formula.
