Calm/tranquil vibes. Emotionally confused older female, younger male with trauma. A questionable relationship between people who find themselves attached to the other in a way that's closer than family and not quite romantic (mostly due to feeling they don't have the right or its abnormal), yet ultimately they're complete strangers. Kimi Wa Pet explores more romance while longing for and finding sanctuary in a stranger. Watashi no Shounen explores more the emptiness two people feel and gradually become attached to one another with the anxiety of being unable to define what kind of relationship they have and the fear of it being misunderstood.

Both are these really weird almost intentionally avant-garde, psychological, graphic sex-filled manga with ridiculously difficult to follow plots. Stay for the art.

Smut with stupidly immature characters. Both main male leads are manipulative and aggressive when it comes to their love interest, forcing an ultimatum on them. Both feature an incestuous relationship, in Boku wa Imouto ni Koi wo Suru its between twins, whereas 17-sai, Kiss to Dilemma is between close cousins.

Technically these series are nothing alike, but Short Cake Cake's Riku kept reminding me of Kairi from Peach Girl, except that Riku isn't a player. Although if Riku = Kairi, I do hope the end couple in Short Cake Cake is like Peach Girl.

Main Female Leads are quite similar in their personalities, however MFL in Koi Dano Ai Dano has a much better sense of humor, whereas MFL in Hibiki is much more serious and weird in different sense. Although there are romance tags for both series and the MMLs are similar as well, it doesn't seem like romance is the main focus of either series.

Both Manga feature a female mc that constantly tease and give off very subtle and suggestive hints of romantic feelings towards the male mc, who is in a form of denial of their affection for the female mc. Hoozuki-san is much more lewd and features an almost extreme amount of fan service, where as Karakai is much innocent as it literally takes place when they are much younger.

Very similar cute/rom-com vibes between a wolf-human hybrid and a human, except gender flipped. However Murenase seems more like its taking the harem route, or something similar to Nisekoi where the MC is pining after the timid girl while loved by the the main girl and surrounded by a bunch of other annoying love interests.

Engaged to the Unidentified is one of my favorites and I felt that HajiOtsu. gave off some similarly good/fresh romantic vibes. Pretty different plots as one is a supernatural romantic comedy where the main couple is engaged due an arranged marriage, while the other is a romantic comedy where the main couple began dating after the female MC's false confession was accepted, however there are some similarities as both male MCs have feelings for their partners, while both female MCs' feelings for their partners begin to develop later on. I found that the artwork, character designs, and their personalities, were all very similar.

Very similar art, both are 4-Koma, romantic-comedies with older female/younger male. I absolutely loved Bonnouji and felt that Kawaii Joushi wo Komarasetai gave off similarly good/fresh vibes. I wish Bonnouji was longer and I wouldn't have minded more ecchi/sex related scenes/chapters, but overall, I felt much more satisfied with the couple growth and how the characters interacted when it finished, than I usually feel with most romantic comedies. Although Kawaii Joushi is ongoing, I feel like it could be as enjoyable as Bonnouji if the romance becomes more developed and there is couple growth. I love it when characters get together early in the story, but hate it when there's practically no couple growth. So hoping Kawaii does well.

Completely different plots as one is based in a separate world after reincarnation, and the other just in modern day Japan, however, the artwork is very similar. Both female MCs have almost identical personalities, although their interests are different. The male MCs are very similar in how open they are/feel about their identities, yet the MC in Tonari no Kashiwagi-san has much lower self-esteem/confidence in himself, while the MC in Magi's Grandson is a genius with a severe lack of common sense.
