The manly combination of dudes being bros. If you're looking for a show where guys aren't afraid to befriend each other or work together, then either one is a good pick. They both have similar themes of fighting for your dreams against all odds and have decently large yet very enjoyable and distinct groups of main/ensemble characters. Both have very beautiful and detailed animation/art styles as well as pleasant sound designs/songs. Characters in both tend to utilize physical and internal strengths the most; as well as the ever faithful Power of Friendship™. Wistoria takes place in more of a medieval fantasy setting, whereas TTGL is in a more futuristic dystopian version.

Gurren Lagann is an ascending adventure while Made in Abyss is a descending adventure. They both have cute art and well done animation styles that they use to explore much deeper themes and topics than one would initially suspect. Gurren Lagann focuses more on natural hope whereas Made in Abyss is more interested in the other side of the argument. It is hard to go into too much detail other than that because Made in Abyss isn't finished yet so all the parallels are not currently known, and any others that are would spoil the fun of watching it for yourself. (:

the spiral calls to you from two different sides of the field. Both shows explore spiraling themes in complimentary and contradictory ways that create an engaging atmosphere to ponder. TTGL is a post-apocalyptic-esque setting with a more positive direction. Whereas Uzumaki is a more modern, real world setting with a more negative spin.

two male housemates, unlikely friends - one being sombre and the other upbeat and aloof, must keep their relationship alive throughout surprisingly drastic circumstances while keeping the girl they know safe from they're less-than-favorable lifestyle as she (however unknowingly) keeps them both from the brink by being the much needed ray of innocence and consistency in their lives. as for the shows themselves, they're both (almost) the same length (buddy daddies - 12 eps and link click - 11 eps), and they're both original stories.

so you know how the lighting was in the one you watched? all the beautiful colors being used in unique ways to really draw you in by the eyes and keep your brain hooked? whichever one you haven't watched will look equally just as beautiful with just as much unique and splendid use of light and colors! they are also both dystopian/cyberpunk-esc shows with lots of huge, cool tech you wouldn't see anywhere else and stakes so high you'd need a rocket to get them down! Akudama Drive wasn't as lucky in gore leniency but what is lost through extra-dark shadows, is made up for with the gorgeous visuals and friendships/personal stories you can't help but be invested in! they both have an overlaying heaviness of how hard the world they're set in is on the characters within them. if you've enjoyed one, i would safely bet you'd enjoy the other as well

they both follow a strong core of love and its importance throughout, well, basically, everything. if i'm being honest, if you've seen one (especially devilman), you've probably seen the other; they may feel almost annoyingly similar. but even still, i think they were still well worth the watch on their own and/or intertwined. if you enjoyed one, i'd bet i could guarantee you'd like the other too
