Kamikatsu is a hot mess, yet it's so trashy that it's incredibly fun to watch. The animation is frankly mediocre and lazy at times but at the same time, it's done so artfully that it's hilarious to me. It creates some iconic scenes such as literally every animal in this anime being depicted in horrible CGI and the infamous Mitama tractor scene which is just some real-life video with a filter and a character's face pasted on top.
Although the humor is pretty cheap and won't be to everyone's taste, if you don't take this anime too seriously and just turn off your brain, the
...
sheer insanity of what happens in just one episode makes it one hell of a ride. It basically feels like a shitpost turned into an anime. If you're just looking for something crazy fun, I would recommend this anime.
Beyond the bizarre nature of their animation choices, the plot is okay. It doesn't really have any logic to it, it's pretty predictable, and as you keep going, you start to wonder what Yukito is doing all this for. It makes no sense and actually, all the character's motivations are flimsy so this is not an anime to find some unique commentary on society or even a coherent storyline, to be honest.
The characters themselves are pretty one-dimensional and trope-y, but the author has pushed them to the absolute extreme of their personalities which makes it entertaining if you like to see deranged people. Yukito as a protagonist in the isekai genre is honestly refreshing because I'm tired of seeing the "nice guy" harem trope. He's manipulative to get what he wants but he just wants to take care of the people who treated him well, so he's likable. Plus he's not a pervert and is always wondering what the heck is wrong with everyone, the classic straight-man type.
The opening and ending are bops. The JP voice actors are absolute powerhouses. It's not the same boring route as the other toilet paper isekai animes. I'd say give it a shot if you're tired of the same old same old. I'll at least remember Kamikatsu for being absolutely insane.

Since there weren't any reviews for this manga, I wanted to write one. ^.^
Please Note: I'm only focusing on the MAIN story. Not the added one shots.
Story: 7
It's kind of original. I've never read a story exactly like this, so I give Ouchi e Kaerou props for that. However, it's one of the typical shoujo manga plots.
Girl hates guy, guy hates girl, girl and guy have some kind of moment when they just 'click' , girl/guy falls for guy/girl almost immediately after (like that moment was when it basically 'unlocks' the guy/girl's hidden passion they never knew about), girl and guy gets together
...
(or they share another intimate moment), and they live happily ever after.
Some longer mangas go a bit more complex than that, but it's the same essential theme. Ouchi e Kaerou doesn't have a very complicated plot. It's just very simple and nice... which is expected for a story of this length.
Art: 10
The art is fabulous. Each character looks unique and very detailed, not to mention that the backgrounds are also just as captivating. It's very well drawn... so no complaints from me. Not to mention, Hana and Ken are really adorable!
Character: 8
There isn't much character development. I did read this knowing that there wouldn't be such drastic progressions, but it'd be nice to know a little bit more about their pasts.
For example, when Satomi was telling Keiko about his mother, it wasn't really a very.... emotional, heart-tugging, moment. Sure... it was very sweet, but not moving. He kind of just told it to her in a few sentences. I didn't feel all that much passion behind it.
You would think that if your mother left, you'd have a bit more reaction when you talk about her. -.-
There isn't much depth in the characters, but they did have potential. I mean, how did Keiko feel about taking care of her little brother constantly? Etcetera, etcetera...
Again, with this length, I wasn't expecting very much... so I was a bit loose when scoring this.
Enjoyment: 10
I honestly loved reading this story. It was a sweet little three-shot (with a few one-shots) that was entertaining and fun. If you'd just like a short little thing to cheer you up, this is the right manga for you. :)
Overall: 8
It's good. Nothing that I would shout out on the rooftops about, but it's good. Just a sweet little picker upper. Nonetheless, don't go in expecting too much from this story because you'll only be disappointed.Ouchi e Kaerou is a great manga to pass the time with, and it is very, very, sweet.

My very first review... how exciting! ^.^ Anyway, Venus Capriccio was a truly beautiful story. At first I had been a bit reluctant to read it due to the age factor between Akira and Takami, but I was like 'Screw it. I'm out of manga to read and she's only two years older.'
Story: 9
Each chapter of this manga was like a little bundle of joy for me. Because it's like each of them had their own story to tell. There wasn't a single moment where I felt that I wanted to stop reading. This story doesn't have major fight scenes like Naruto or Bleach,
...
nor does it have intense drama like in other shoujo mangas. It's Akira and Takami's emotional journey together. It made me feel that I was right there with them.
Art: 9
I'll admit, the art is very good compared to other mangas. Venus Capriccio is definitely on my list of manga with great art. This story was so detailed in its drawing. Each page was showing me the emotions that were happening at the time and it does it in such a beautiful way. When Akira plays the piano, I can literally see his passion because Nishikata Mai did such a wonderful drawing it. It was just amazing.
Character: 10
Both the characters and the character development was fantastic. This captured my attention because of how the summary described Akira as a pretty boy, and Takami was a manly girl. They're definitely unique all right.
I loved how Akira was slowly growing up as each chapter passed. He became more independent and passionate. But it wasn't all at once and it also wasn't at an unbelievably slow rate. It was subtle and really sweet.
Takami was really interesting to read. Her loyalty to Akira made me love her, not to mention that she's not the type to cry whenever something goes wrong. She can take care of herself and she loves to be by Akira's side. It's really heartwarming to read the scenes with those two.
Their relationship wasn't like some mangas where it seems that the girl just *snap* falls in love. Akira's was known from the very beginning but you can still see how he was able to fall for her over the years. Takami was a bit reluctant to fall because for the majority of her life, she had always seen Akira as the sister she's always wanted (He gets upgraded to 'Cute little brother though' ;)). But over time, you can easily see her getting closer and closer to him. It's a really lovely progression.
Enjoyment: 10
I truly fell in love with every aspect of this story! There wasn't any unnecessary drama, and everything was just laid out so that we could finally get to the end. Although I wished Nishikata Mai stretched out the final scenes, it was just perfect.
Overall: 10
Other things I'd like to say:
I would recommend this manga to everyone and anyone of all ages. There's no smut, bloody, gory, scenes. But despite those kinds heart pumping moments, Venus Capriccio makes you slowly but surely fall in love. And before you know it, you've hit rock bottom and realize that it was such an unforgettable journey.
